We had a very good experience working with Northview Landscaping. Our project was large, involving a new paver driveway, new public sidewalk, new turf install, new concrete and paver pathways, new wooden gates and a re-install of a paver patio. The project took a long time with several interruptions due to weather and permitting with the city. For a while it seemed like the sidewalk repair might not happen, but Juan and Freddie were able to work it out with the city and the new sidewalk looks great. Our new paver driveway looks amazing and has given us way more space. The new retaining wall curves around the corner to the street, which was a detail in the design that I really wanted, and they were able to deliver. So far after a few heavy rainstorms everything seems to be draining properly. The plants and landscaping are starting to fill in and I'm hoping that the plants thrive over the summer after some pretty nasty weather the last couple months. Perhaps the best part of the project has turned out to be the backyard where we replaced the grass lawn with turf and had the paver patio re-installed. It looks really nice and the dogs love it. I love that I don't have to spend hours weeding it and worrying about foxtails in dog feet or noses. There is still one step left before completion, since we ended up having to replace our sewer pipe to the street which left a small section of the paver driveway. Overall Northview did great work on a big job with some complicated permitting requirements. They were always respectful, polite and communicative. I'll definitely contact them again for future work and would recommend Northview Landscaping to friends and neighbors. read more

I found Juan to be very personable, great to work with, and extremely attentive to any questions or concerns I had - always responding the same day, if not the same hour. We reached out to Northview Landscaping back in October 2023 after spending several weeks researching a landscaping company to take on our project. At the time we reached out, we were exhausted and frustrated with another company that we had been working with. Unfortunately the other company was just not able to listen or bring our vision to life. Juan took our call and was able to meet with us within a week. On our first meeting we knew that this was the company to do partner with to do our job. We were stuck between a few different options and Freddy provided me with 3 different options. The size of the project increased a little bit in size from after we initially talked with Freddy. This company is amazing. I contacted them late Sunday night and received a response almost immediately. I'm having issues with a leaking irrigation system and most gardeners and landscapers I called are not able to come until next week to give an estimate. Not only that but many are booked out and not able to do the job or willing to. I contacted Northview and Juan came in 2 days. He was extremely knowledgeable and told me that the job was not complicated and he'd be able to squeeze it in after his workday. He also offered me a very competitive estimate. Juan and team were very professional from start to finish of a long job. It took us close to 9 months to finish our backyard and front yard refresh with a number of weather and material interruptions. Through it all Juan and team always communicated well, clearly and worked with us to ensure the finished product turned out amazing. The Northview team was also very easy to work with and despite a number of changes we made throughout the project, the team was very accomodating. Inevitably there are things in such a large scale project that do go wrong and we were no exception. But in each of those cases, Juan and team instantly came back to rectify it. One issue was even 6 months after the completion of the job for a water leak in one of the irrigation lines. They also used high-quality materials for the job and took pride in their work. They worked with our budgets and in areas they werent able to provide a competitive rate, they recommended others who could. Juan and Freddie and the crew were all great! Our front yard (Santa Rosa) was full of weeds coming through the landscape fabric and shrubs needed serious pruning. They brought in a small excavator and cleared everything out, placed down new fabric and wheelbarrowed small gravel up the hilly yard. Got up on the roof to clean out gutters and repaired retaining wall. They worked very hard for 3 days and Juan kept us up on what they were doing. Great group of guys who we would hire again! My husband and I were looking to hire someone to come and update both our front and backyard - specifically pour concrete and remove various other items, including a lot of crushed granite and soft pebbles. Juan listened to our vision for the yard but also suggested how we can help keep our costs minimal while maintaining our dream yard. When I contacted Northview Landscaping, Juan offered to drop by on his way home that night. He quickly diagnosed the problem with my irrigation system and took the time to explain how the system works, answering all our questions thoroughly and patiently. I felt very comfortable with him and he was able to give me the quote right there on the spot versus having to wait a few days to get it. We had him and his team install artificial grass in our backyard and they did such a great job; only took a couple of days and it looks amazing.
