We went this past Friday to Scaddabush STC My husband booked reservations as usually it's busy, however it was not as busy as we thought it would be The restaurant has a nice comfy upscale vibe to it We started with the calamari It was good and the sauces that came with it were good....one was spicy while the other was like a lemon tartar I had the beet and goat cheese salad It was really good Definitely recommend this Me and my husband shared the Americano pizza It was so good.... Lots of pepperoni on it We ended the meal with some Zeppole The hazelnut dip that it came with was soooo good I will admit I may have dipped a finger in the hazelnut sauce because it was good Our server Andrea was wonderful throughout I would definitely come again to Scaddabush STC

Scaddabush is definitely not Italian food, it's essentially just a fast food "Italian" restaurant. Our server was really great, no complaints about him. It's just more so the quality of food is bad. You see the food and it looks like it's some kind of low budget food from New Jersey. We got the balsamic mozzarella that they say is made in house with freshly made bread everyday. It's obvious none of it is made every day, the bread looks like it came from the store, it was VERY hard and overcooked, it just crumbled. So we asked for fresh bread that wasn't overcooked, which we did get. The mozzarella didn't really have flavour and was pretty tough, hard to cut as well. I got the truffle and mushroom gnocchi. There was 0 sign of any truffle... the gnocchi had 0 flavour as well. I tried it on its own and it was very bland. The flavour came from the arugula, peas and mushrooms. The portion size is great but would be 10 times better if the taste was there. Overall, their food is very bland.

The only reason I keep subjecting myself to the subpar Italian food that is Scaddabush is because I have a family member who seem to like coming here. Everything I've tried here has been a sad excuse for Italian fare, except for their fresh pasta which is just about their only saving grâce. I don't like their tomato sauce, I don't like their pizza dough and I don't feel like most of their offering is worth the price tag it come with. I don't know why they would put sun dried tomates on a Margherita pizza and why providing à salad dressing on the side is à challenge. This time, the experience was extra soured by the burnt pattie and the bun on the Italian burger which was the least Italian thing I could order here. It's simple exécution issue that the kitchen could have corrected, but instead, they sent out à burger that was clearly not prepared well. I sincerely hope that no dining companion has a sudden urge to dine in at Scaddabush again in the near future because I hate waiting money on bad food.

I always enjoy visiting Scaddabush. My go to pasta is the lemon garlic shrimp spaghetti. The last time I went we also got a pizza which was ok. I enjoy their apps and most pastas. They also have great cocktails. A great spot if you are craving Italian. Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Vibes: 4/5

We had a good experience at Scaddabush. We had a short wait at the front lobby area as it was busy, and again at our table. We were even provided some pieces of flatbread to stave off hunger while we waited for our food. The servers were professional and courteous. The food was absolutely delicious. The space was large and completely filled, so it was quite noisy. The polenta fries were the highlight of the night. Definitely recommend it!

I'm honestly torn as I write this because my experience was such a stark contrast to the one I had just a week prior. I visited the Woodbridge location with coworkers for lunch and ordered the same dish, and let me tell you--it was fantastic. But this time, I was in Scarborough and decided to try the location just outside the mall. While the service was friendly and attentive, the food was a major letdown. I ordered spaghetti with one meatball for over $25, and it was just... blah. The pasta was dry and clearly undercooked--it needed at least another minute to reach the right texture. To top it off, the dish arrived almost immediately after I ordered it, which makes me think it wasn't freshly made but just quickly thrown together because it was lunchtime. Would I go back to this location? Absolutely not. It's such a shame because I know how good this dish can be when done right. Unfortunately, this visit completely missed the mark for me.

Kale salad okay nothing outstanding

Our server was attentive before it got really busy. Went for dinner, pasta was made in house. There was also many items. The open concept dining room made it very loud for conversation as others have mentioned and I do agree with that. Went in the middle of the week around 530pm and by the time we left most tables were full. Ordered a Bolognese pasta and fresh mozzarella. Mozzarella was delicious. Pasta was good quality with a nice bite however I found there not to be enough sauce for flavor unfortunately very watery sauce. Down side to an expensive 25$ pasta dish. Kale salad was alright not outstanding for $20. Would I come back nope.

Scaddabush delivered on both fronts. The Alfredo shrimp pasta was rich and indulgent without being heavy, and the pizza had a great crust with balanced toppings. A comforting, well-executed meal.

Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday. The restaurant is located on the other side of Scarborough Town Centre beside the Jack Astor. There was quite a bit of parking when we arrived on the weekend evening. For the food, I ordered the butcher pizza and my wife ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese with garlic focaccia bread. The pizza that I got wasn't satisfactory because it was on the dry side. The flavour was there; however, I feel that it wasn't baked in a stone oven. On the other hand, I tried some of the rigatoni bolognese that my wife ordered. It was a lot better and more satisfying than the pizza. The focaccia was served warm and it came with a spread of a basil garlic spread. The ambience of the restaurant gives you a more intimate and dimly lit experience. It has a nice touch that makes you feel you're somewhere in Europe. The server was attentive and nicely asked if we had any food allergies, which I do. I appreciate that gesture. Overall, we had a great experience at this restaurant. It's probably not the last time we will come, but we definitely will order the pasta because the pizza wasn't for me.

I came here with my friends and I have to say one of the best Italian food I have ever tasted in my life. I got the Malfade pasta and the calamari, I have to say this is the best Italian food I have ever tasted in my life. The service was excellent, and the calamari was perfectly fried and with the sauce it was delicious, the pasta was amazing and they make the pasta fresh unlike other restaurants, everything on the menu looked amazing. I would suggest making reservations, I would definitely come back here and try the other dishes

I love going to Scaddabush, the experience is great each time. This time around I was craving a chicken parm at home so I got one delivered. The noodles weren't quite what I was expecting based on the Yelp review images from other Yelpers. On top of that, the portion looks quite smaller than I was expecting though Im not sure if that's just because of the poor choice in takeout box size. Nevertheless it was still very tasty, and I would go back for it, depending on the price lol.

We ordered Rosemary garlic fries, Roasted fennel sausage fettuncine and Pesto Pollo Penne Scaddabush in Scarborough offers a delightful blend of modern ambiance and authentic Italian flavors. With a diverse menu featuring fresh and flavorful dishes, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere, it's a recommended choice for those seeking a satisfying Italian dining experience in the area.

Came here for dinner with some friends! the place is a bit pricier but you are partly paying for the ambience/service. I went with the sausage and fennel rigatoni for 24.99. I thought it was pretty tasty and enjoyed the mix of the peppers and the rose sauce. It was super filling as well. We did have a bit of a larger group so they charged a bit extra for gratuity as well (18%). Overall found it not a bad spot

The lemon rosemary drink was refreshing and a great earthy and sour taste. The Bomba Mozzarella was so delicious, mozzarella is my favourite cheese and it was so nice to eat it freshly made with some spicy peppers and bacon ragu. The focaccia was perfectly toasted to pair with. I love a good kale salad and the Toscana kale salad did not disappoint. I will admit it is kind of hard to pierce the kale with the fork to eat, probably easier just to scoop it up. The chicken and gnocchi was good, although the chicken was a little more charred and tough than I would've liked. Gnocchi was delicious though in the cream Alfredo sauce. Overall, great meal and service. Would definitely come back again. Great spot to come with friends and groups and just share a bunch of food.

The hostess accommodated our request for a booth, cleaned and prepped the empty seat for us. This place is decently big, lots of seats, bar and dining area is available. Pretty busy over the weekend during dinner rush. Service is prompt, fast and Jackie was very kind to explain the menu and what they recommend. We got spaghetti and meatballs, steak and mozzarella. I would say everything was as good as I expected them to be except for the meatball. It was too dense inside and not the usual signature meatball I know scaddabush offers. Would certainly not order that again. The spritz cocktail gin had too much cucumber and water taste to it, not much alcohol. Otherwise I would come here again perhaps try their happy hour as well. We had a reservation for 6:15PM, but did have to wait a bit while our table was being set up. Not a huge deal though as they actually have a little waiting area with a popcorn machine, which I thought was super cute and thoughtful. That said... we were here for seafood, so we had to hold ourselves back from snacking too much on popcorn LOL. We went on a Thursday, so we took advantage of their $50 for 50 oysters (with purchase of an entrée). Easily the best part of the experience from a value standpoint. While a good portion of the oysters were fresh, there were definitely a few that were noticeably off. Not just "less fresh," but the kind of bites that make you pause and immediately wanting to spit it out. It kind of takes away from the experience when you're second-guessing each one. We started with the ahi tuna tartare and individual cups of clam chowder. The tartare was decent, but lacked that extra punch or acidity to really make it stand out. The chowder, on the other hand, was surprisingly well done; generous clam pieces with that distinct briny, ocean flavour you only get from real seafood. It tasted authentic, not overly thick, and actually let the ingredients shine. For mains, I ordered the lobster mac & cheese, while my coworkers got the lobster & shrimp tagliatelle. The mac & cheese was creamy and cheesy, but leaned heavily toward pasta over lobster. I only found a few small pieces, mostly from the claw. It felt more like a standard mac & cheese with lobster added in after the fact rather than something cooked together cohesively. Not quite what I had in mind. I also tried a few bites of the tagliatelle; there was flavour there, but it needed salt to bring everything forward. As it stood, the flavours felt muted and a bit hidden. That said, shoutout to our server, Edward, who really helped elevate the experience. Super attentive, gave solid recommendations, and suggested a bottle of Oyster Bay Chardonnay to pair with the oysters, which ended up being a hit. Overall, this is a spot that's worth visiting for the specials alone, but the execution across dishes is a bit uneven. Good, not great, and I'd be more inclined to return strategically rather than for the full menu experience.

Great buck a shuck deal on Thursdays with a purchase of an entree, dine in only. Make a reservation…read morein advance for this deal, as the restaurant was packed and fully booked. I think the mains here were kind of a miss in terms of flavour. A few things they can improve on imo: Oysters 5/5 - These were amazing and a hit. They served up 2 different options for us that were fresh and great. One entree purchase = you can order 50 oysters for $50. If you want another 50 oysters you'll have to purchase another entree. Caesar 3/5 - Caesars are my go to drinks, but this wasn't that great. The olives it came with were super salty, not enough depth in the drink. The oyster on top of my drink was also very salty. Not a well rounded cocktail. Sourdough 3.5/5 - This was a good filler, nothing too crazy or special. Came served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Fried calamari 3.5/5 - Great for sharing. Battered with chickpea flour and served with tzatziki. Lobster pasta 2.5/5 - This had a nice amount of lobster in here, but the sauce was odd. It kind of tasted like blended pumpkin in this sauce. Looked better than it tasted. Fries 4/5 - This was great and a nice addition to the oysters. Seasoned vegetables 3/5 - Standard vegetables. Lots of butter on them. Overall, I think the oysters are great if you're here for that. Definitely why I come back. But the mains can use some work.

The service was even better than my last visit. I would give above 5 stars if it was available. We ordered 1. Wagyu dumplings appetizer. While the price was pretty high for 4 dumplings at $12. The flavours and spices were amazing. 2. Crab fried rice. The dish was well presented and flavourful 3. Lobster grilled cheese Not our favourite dish of the day but the home fries were a nice touch and crispy. 4. Pad kee mao with shrimp This dish was the star of the show. The shrimps were jumbo and fresh and the noodles were very bouncy (you could tell they were handmade) 5. Thai tea tiramisu While soft and delectable. It wasn't worth the $14 price tag. I complained about some prices but overall the whole meal was only $120 and $150 including tip. So, I believe the value compared to the price was very very reasonable considering the prices of dining out these days. I will definitely be back and I give a strong recommendation to visit this location of Chiang Mai.
