    Pesto pollo penne.

I got the Pesto Pollo Penne and it was so good! The portion sizes are pretty large. The restaurant was packed and lively. Service was great.

Visited Scadsabush in Woodbridge a few weeks ago. We had the beat goat cheese walnut salad, avocado bruschetta, margarita and funghi pizzas and a couple drinks. The food was alright, the salad was really delicious.

Came here after a long time and food was great. Everything from the appetizer to the main course was on point. Even though it was a busy night, the waitress Zen made sure we had a smooth experience and customized our food to request.

    Pizza scissors wtf?

Shanny was the waitress to get. Food is unique and delicious, atmosphere is great for a crowd. First time here. I will be back. Yeah, and Pizza Scissors. Yes, you read that right, pizza scissors.

First time visiting this particular location. I'm always happy to visit Scaddabush for any occasion and the ambiance was chill and clean as you would expect. We were seated quickly and our server was very friendly and attentive. We did order bruschetta and fries as appetizers and I have to say the fries were delicious and would order them again. However our mains took such a long time to come out :( I think the restaurant got really busy or something. And when the food came out, the 2 pizzas were hot and delicious but the 2 pastas we ordered definitely looked like they had been sitting around for a while. My shrimp pasta had actually clumped up and coagulated together, yikes!! It was also under seasoned and I enjoyed it much better after adding a bit of salt to it. Next time I would order something different or even ask the servers to bring the food as it's ready, not all together.

Went out for a team dinner here on a Wednesday night. Very nice ambience and quiet where you can have conversations. Staff was friendly and overall good service. The mozzarella was great and paired with some fresh focaccia. The spinach artichoke dip wasn't anything to write home about, could have used a bit more cheese for consistency/texture but still good flavour overall. The roasted Mushroom and Truffle Gnocchi was well-balanced with really good truffle flavour in the sauce. The lemon rosemary spritz was refreshing. Not a bad spot for something no frills and you would know what to expect.

I love the variety in the menu. There is something for everyone. We ordered calamari, spinach beet goat cheese salad and chicken sandwich. Everything was served perfectly. The salad was cold and the chicken was warm. Our server was very friendly and had perfect timing. I would recommend this place.

Ok. Just ok. I Expected more. 2:30pm for lunch alone. Went to the bar. Waited for service. Waited for a beer. Was told they cant figure out the tap. Average Penne. Ok. Just ok.

Scaddabush's food is definitely on the expensive side but usually that would be ok if it's meets the expectations. Not saying their pasta is bad but in my opinion it's just mediocre compare to when I had it a while ago. My friend and I also got their spinach dip and it had a weird sourness that we were not a big fan of. The service that day wasn't the best too, our server took our order and basically never came back to check on us, so we had to basically awkwardly sit and wait for her to notice us to get the bill.

We tried this restaurant out this week, and I can say I was thoroughly disappointed. We were seated out in the patio, and asked for the warmer lamps to be turned on, but the waitress informed us they just stopped working, all of 8'of them. We ordered the artichoke dip, which came with toasted bread, this was quite small for $14 and change. Barely shareable by two people. I also ordered the seafood platter, I thought it was quite bland, the pasta was harder than I expected it to be, and a little on the dry side. Not sure we would go back to this restaurant

We have decided to come here after Fantastic Beasts at 11pm, as the boyfriend was hungry and also wanted to try their mozzarella after hearing lots of good things about it. We asked the host if they still have freshly made mozzarella and we were told yes so we got seated. However when we asked our server, he said not 100% sure but will double check. After 5 mins or so, we got good news and decided to get the PROSCIUTTO mozzarella. We were also told that pizzas were HALF OFF!!!! So of course we wouldn't miss the chance and ordered THE BUTCHER pizza to-go as it was quite late and we didn't want to go over their operation hour. But here's the sad part and I forgot to take a picture... As my boyfriend was passing the plates to me, we found an UNCLEANED GREASY plate. He immediately lost his appetite, and I told our server to change the set of plates. Regardless of how late the customers arrive, you should ensure all the plates you leave on the table are CLEANED!!!! Anyway, the food was here and we enjoyed the mozzarella. The mozzarella was famous as they were made in-house, it definitely tasted a little bit different than the ones you get from supermarket. More chewy and more milk flavour. I put together a toast with mozza and fig jam, and damn was that good. The jam gave a little sweetness to the mozza, and if you put a piece of prosciutto on the toast, the salt from it elevated the mozza flavour, allowing the cheese flavour to be more intense. I didn't get to try the pizza but was heard from the boyfriend that it was a bit too garlic-y for him.

Service is very slow, but the interior of the restaurant is pretty charming. Pasta is also just average.

When I called to make a reservation for an early dinner at 6 p.m., I was Told they could "fit us in". The person on the other line wanted to know if we were staying for the night since she had other guests coming in at 8. We were dining with kids so I said that 2 hours for dinner would be enough. When we arrived in this industrial looking space, we were the only patrons in the restaurant. Most of the tables are low - lounge like. The few tables that are high with bar stool type chairs are all near the door and not in an ideal location. The bar dominates most of the room and there was a drum set in another part of the main floor suggesting that there would be live music later. We sat in a booth with a low table. The waitress, Susan, was very nice but she could not overcome the incompetence of the kitchen staff. The lemon drop martini had no lemon taste. The calamari appetizer was ok but too chewy for me. The chicken wings my son ordered were good. The bruchetta was nothing special. The worst part of the meal was waiting for our entrees - we waited over an hour between the time we finished our appetizers and the time the entrees arrived. The bacon wrapped tenderloin, when it did arrive, was tasty but tiny - four our of five of us ordered this entree and they were all small. My daughter ordered off of the main menu - the penne in rose sauce and the portion for $14 was tiny. I will post a picture. My apple crumble was the kind that you can buy at Costco - definitely not homemade. Mine was burnt. My son's dessert dd not arrive together with the rest of ours. The lemon sorbet was served in a real lemon and was tasty. The desserts all looked like they were store-bought. I will never come back to this restaurant. Our experience was most disappointing.

Not only is it a restaurant serving lunch and dinner, but it also has the space to host private events- wedding reception, birthday parties, company events, etc! They also offer catering services for your next private party. We had a reservation on a Thursday evening for a nice dinner at around 7pm. The interior was classy with chandeliers and a huge flower centerpiece, but kept it warm, with intimate lighting. They weren't too busy in the dining area as only a few tables were occupied, contrary to the big event they had going on on the mezzanine floor. We were greeted by the lovely restaurant manager, Kevin, who brought us to our table which was tucked at the back corner of the dining area. Here's what we ordered and what we thought of them... DRINK: - Verbena Blues Lemonade: the original version was a vodka-lemonade cocktail, but my boss requested it non-alcoholic and they were able to accommodate her request. The colour of the drink was a beautiful azure that reminded you of the ocean water. (I didn't get to taste it as it's my boss's drink... but she finished the whole drink so I assumed it was good enough?) FOOD: - Cozze Marinara (PEI mussels in tomato sauce): well-cooked mussels... in a pool of seasoned tomato sauce. The only slight issue was the amount of crushed shell pieces inside the mussels was a little much. - Beet Arugula: the dish's name says itself... essentially an arugula salad with beet chunks, sprinkled with feta cheese and crushed pistachio. The dressing was said to be "berry vinaigrette", but it tasted more like olive oil to us. It was a refreshing dish to balance out all the salt. - Rigatoni Profumo De Bosco (mushroom rigatoni pasta with rose sauce): the pasta was al dente so it still had a bounce in every bite, the sauce though... it was a tad bit too salty for our palate, as the dish already came with prosciutto (small tiny bits and pieces of it) which was salty in itself, together with the salt in the sauce, it was overpowering. - Scaloppini Al Limone (veal with veggie): it was my first time having veal and possibly going to be my last. The texture of the veal was dry and a bit tough to cut into. It had the texture of a thin pork cutlet rather than the tenderness of red meat (maybe I am wrong?) DESSERT: - Tiramisu: it's almost a MUST ORDER whenever I dine at an Italian restaurant. The ladyfinger part was moist without being too soggy, and the mascarpone layer wasn't enough to give the overall bite a more rich, and velvety texture. Not saying it's not tasty, but if they put more mascarpone, it would have been CHEF's KISS!

Just had company party there. Quality of food , services are not good, but price is not cheap.read more
