The staff is something else.. they are family and you feel it when you go. Front of store, the ladies are extremely helpful and kind. If they don't have an answer to your questions they'll find out quick. If you're just looking around they don't bother you... I guess they get a lot of people that do just that.. LOL Back of store, the bike mechanics are the Gold standard. Knowledgeable and perform great work. Once had an issue with a tire and they fixed it without skipping a beat. They have a great collection of products which is rare in New Jersey but that's what you get when the proprietor is a BMX X games Champ. I live in northern NJ and this shop is very far but I will go once in a while just because of the atmosphere and brands they carry. Plus, the nearby skateparks are extremely fun. read more

I came in for a tune up on an old Trek mountain bike. They were very friendly and straightforward with me. I was told it may take 3-4 days and they called me the same day I drop it off to say it was ready. This was impressive considering the current state of the bicycle industry. When I picked up the bike, the technician was available to answer questions and explained the work done as well as answering questions about some more work I may want done. Everyone who works here is knowledgeable with the products they sell and are really helpful. They will find what you are looking for and of they don't have it, they will try and get it for you. If you buy a bicycle from here, you get one free tune-up a year which is nice. There is also a BMX track in the back that is available to ride on. read more

Hands down, the greatest bike shopping experience I've ever had! I don't know much about bikes at all, and came here with my boyfriend to pick out a nice bike. These guys not only knew SO MUCH about all the intricate parts and gadgets of the bikes, but were insanely patient with all of my amateur questions. They also let me ride the bikes outside over and over until I made my decision. Such a cool place with even cooler employees. Never felt taken advantage of or oversold on anything. My 13yo son is a huge Fan of Scotty and has been begging me to take him here. So we took the 1 1/2 hour ride. This place is awesome. My son picked up a few new upgrades for his PK Ripper. The best part of the trip was that he got to meet Scotty, Vinny and Big Boy. These guys were great. Even though the place was very busy, they spent a good 30 minutes just talking with him. A spoke broke on my rim. Took it to SC. Everyone was extremely friendly and pleasant. They are really busy and prepared me the repair could take longer than expected. I am happy to say it did not take long at all and they did an amazing job for what I think was a more than fair price. Bike feels like new again. What a great local bike shop! I have purchased several bicycle's for my daughter's here over the years. Recently I bought my first bike from this shop. I tried few in the parking lot! Yes they let you test drive 'em. I am 6'2" and find mountain bike's uncomfortable. They listened to me and recommended a Cannondale Adventure 3 in a really sharp matte black finish. I love the bike though waiting for snow to stop falling so I can ride. These guys are true professionals and really great to customers. Give them a shot! read more
