We ordered the pesto bread and grilled appetizer platter. While it took quite a long time for our food to come, it was worth the wait. Both items were seasoned to absolute perfection. The honey almond beer we got was also a great choice. I don't know if the slow service is due to the lack of service staff or if it's the nature of the restaurant, but hopefully it's not something that they struggle with for long. Their patio really is a great space. It offers a great seat to take in downtown Delaware and to enjoy food and drinks. I look forward to stopping in next time I'm in town

The salad came out with no detectable dressing. The server said: "Oh yea we do it traditional without Caesar Dressing...Just olive oil and vinegar." No Caesar dressing on a Caesar salad? Odd. But I ate it. I was starving. I waited thirty-five minutes for my pizza to arrive. It had almost no cheese on it. Server said: "We use fresh cheese so it's not going to cover your pizza..." Newsflash: I use fresh cheese all the time and never have that issue. She offered to remake it. Which would take another 20-30 minutes, with the same amount of cheese as before... "If you want more cheese to cover it, you'll have to pay extra.." "Can you bring me cheese to put on top of this?" "No. It won't be melty." As I was leaving, she said: "Our pizzas are dry. Our salads are dry..." What a way to be remembered! 34 bucks for dry Romaine lettuce and pizza with almost no cheese that took forever to make... Today's lesson: Make sure you bring your own cheese and dressing, cause Amatos isn't providing it...The whole meal felt like she was making excuses for why they were clearly cutting corners on everything and for why they couldn't provide you a decent pizza covered in cheese or a salad covered in dressing in under an hour. ( And under 40 bucks of course). Its lackluster at best and they aren't really willing to work with you to fix the problem. Sure, they'll remake it with the same amount of cheese and toppings as before and it take more of your time but if really want coverage on the pizza that you ordered. you'll pay extra. (Even though fresh cheese doesn't really melt enough to cover it...) This particular server was way more interested in lecturing me on why it's more traditional to put a drop of oil and vinegar on a Caesar salad than Caesar dressing! The picture below shows the way pizza came: Little to no topping, almost no cheese and almost burnt on the edges...With plenty of excuses and customer blaming to go around... In my defense, I left half of it on the table. This review should suffice anyone thinking of going there on any given night and to the owners. Go elsewhere!

I got the house wine and my fiancé got the beer and an espresso martini! All great! We got the crostini (mushrooms and ricotta) as an app - very delicious though the flavor profile wasn't exactly what we expected. The complimentary focaccia that came out was also delicious! For dinner we split the rigatoni (very popular per our waitress and we can see why - delicious and the short rib was tender and plentiful) and lasagna (special for the night and also quite good)! The restaurant was cute, smaller but not too small they couldn't do larger groups. Overall, delicious and would recommend!

My wife and daughter shared the Caesar salad and it was very good. I had the Fra Diovlo lobster special and it was excellent although it wasn't remotely spicy which was disappointing. My daughter had the sweet potato ravioli and it was excellent. My wife had the salmon and she really liked it but my daughter and I didn't loved it. It was very citrus forward . The service was fine but nothing more. We did not like our table as we felt like we were at the kiddie table between the bathroom and kitchen with no lighting and lots of traffic. You could tell it was an afterthought for added seating at a popular restaurant. I was also unimpressed with the wine options and I didn't love the one I ordered. We will go back for sure.

REVIEW BY: Avila.Eats on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube…read more Service: friendly, talkative, and great suggestions. Waters kept full. Ambiance/Atmosphere: inside is a nice open high risen ceilings dining room. Tables are well spaced and comfortable. Well set and the restaurant is well lit without being too bright. The soft music is nice while enjoying your meal and talking is no issue. Food: 1. Bread service is crunchy outside and soft inside. Bread by itself is good but nothing crazy. The pesto olive oil dipping oil is what makes it. 6.75 2. Steak Oscar is tender, juicy, and well seasoned. The bernaise sauce has a nice flavor that pairs excellent with the crab. Tender but slightly fishier than I'd like. 7.5. Asparagus is just asparagus, no exciting flavors. Risotto is soft and creamy. Decent flavor. I'm not a big risotto fan. 6 3. Bella Vista Sausage chicken pasta is creamy. Rich and flavorful. The sausage is spicy and well seasoned. Tender and juicy. The chicken is tender and juicy and pairs great with the alfredo sauce. The noodles are perfectly cooked. The peppers add heat, sweet, and a great pop of flavor. 7.75 4. Lasagna is packed full of meat. Shortrib bolognese is tender, well seasoned, and packed full of meat. Sauce is tangy but not over done. Cheese is plentiful and gooey. 8.5 5. Tiramisu is delicate and flavorful. Smooth and creamy. Excellent flavor and perfectly done. Coffee flavor is noticeable but not overpowering. 9.5 6. Cannoli shell has an excellent flavor. Cream is smooth and airy. Chocolate adds a nice flavor and richness. The pistachio flavor is my favorite and adds that great pistachio flavor. 8 7. Chocolate torte is warm and smooth. Decadent rich chocolate flavor with a gooey center. Taste like a fudgy brownie mixed with a lava cake. Super rich and indulgent without being sickly. 8.5

They had 2 people serving the bar. We waited about 10 minutes to finally be asked if we wanted something to drink, never gave us menus, the guy sitting beside us gave us his. The bartender walked by us,never asked if we wanted to order, and I tried to get her attention to order, but nope just kept walking. Another couple came in and sat down beside us,get a drink,no menus and she said did u want to place a food order? Then the ladies on down from us was complaining because they kept piling up dirty dishes beside her while she was eating. I finally waved her down to get our bill and she said oh did u want another drink? I said no but we would have liked to order food but we have sat here for 40 minutes and you never came back. She said we are doing our best here, and I haven't been here for a couple days. Everyone at the bar had to keep asking for another drink, the bill,a box and etc. She was literally ignoring everyone. I can't remember her name but she had long hair and it was braided or in dreads. Service sucked and she could careless. And the other bartender never did come around. That is the first time I have never left a tip.

Loiee G's - No screen marks...perfect crust

"Nightmare on Pep Street... and I Loved Every Bite"…read more Stopped in after a lab appointment, running on fumes and bad decisions, so I figured pizza was the cure. Loiee G's did not disappoint. I grabbed a Medium "Nightmare on Pep Street" -- garlic butter, red sauce, three types of pepperoni -- basically the holy trinity of flavor. I inhaled it like I was auditioning for a competitive eating show. While still chewing, I ordered an 18-inch Meat Pizza for the tribe back home (because sharing is caring, apparently). This is proper NY-style pizza: thin, crispy, and foldable -- the kind of slice that makes you feel like you should be yelling "Yo!" on a Brooklyn sidewalk. The topping ratio was chef's kiss -- not overloaded like most C-Bus pies that think they're competing in a topping-weight contest. Everyone at home gave the thumbs up, proving I can, in fact, make good life choices when hungry. Bonus points: the pinball collection is serious. My buddy (resident pinball nerd) told me to check out the Godzilla and John Wick machines -- because nothing pairs better with pizza than saving Tokyo or racking up a kill streak in neon lights. Verdict: Loiee G's is legit. Great crust, perfect ratios, and enough pinball nostalgia to make you forget your cholesterol results.

The pizza here is very close to east coast and it easily became our Friday go to after our first visit. This is a sit down place, which seems to be fairly rare here, you can actually buy by the slice and have a beer or wine to go with it. When you go here, plan on eating there as opposed to take home if you can. Take home is never as good as fresh out of the oven and you can play some pinball while waiting. Oh it's Friday now! We'll see them in a couple hours.
