Oven Baked Classic Sampler
Ben J.

I had hope for our pasta craving tonight but the taste test really dashed our hopes quickly. Ordered baked spaghetti with meatballs, baked ziti for my kids and I got the oven baked classic sampler (spaghetti with one meatball, lasagna and fettuccine alfredo). One word....bland. Nothing special about the sauce, no seasoning. Ragu could have been better. Do they ever taste test their food? Nothing special about the spaghetti, lasagna or fettuccine. Just bland. Only positive was the meatballs. Price wise great at $9/dish. Please Fazoli, more seasoning - don't go cheap. Food must be flavorful.

Baked Spaghetti with meatballs.

Today was a Fazoli's day. I had an urge for the breadsticks today that wouldn't go away. Also ordered the Baked Spaghetti and meatballs. It was a nice portion of spaghetti with a nice mild sauce which had sliced tomatoes in it and a good amount of Mozzarella cheese baked on top, add 3 meatballs and you have a good filling lunch. And definitely don't forget to load up on those delicious garlic breadsticks. Yummmy

Raw dough in pizza

Pizza came severely under cooked. Pictured is the raw dough in my hand with cheese on the left so you can tell the difference. This poses a huge health risk for my pregnant wife. Please look into fixing this so this doesn't happen again.

Ultimate Spaghetti

Holy breadsticks, I don't know how I went so long without eating here, but I wish I would have come in sooner! My daughter wanted spaghetti after school, so we dropped in on a Friday afternoon. We ordered, sat down, and our food was brought out to us in less than 5 minutes. We were given a TON of breadsticks that, in my opinion, could give Olive Garden's breadsticks a run for their money. My ultimate spaghetti was a healthy serving. I really liked sauce. It had just the right level of sweetness without being too sweet, and I like that this meal comes with meatballs, mushrooms and bacon. I know bacon is good with basically everything, but bacon in spaghetti sauce, ABSOLUTELY!

Kids Garlic Butter Noodle
Britney L.

Ordered a kids garlic butter noodle and added chicken and tomatoes for a total of only $6.50! I came through the drive thru and because the car in front of me had a long order they walked out and gave me my meal. Thanks so much for the stellar service and delicious food for a broke college student!

Excellent food, very tasty, great service, and fresh breadsticks! ***download the app to get a free baked spaghetti, use my referral code if you think about it KevinCof4447 Fazoli's has really upped their game. This fast casual restaurant not only has excellent tasting Italian food they deliver the food to your table. Tonight the food was not only delivered but they brought out a wooden tray stay stand and served the plates to us like a fancy restaurants. Then she offered to grate fresh Parmesan cheese on our dishes. Wow!! The food was tasty, hot and delicious. The breadsticks are all you can eat. They are addictive and way to easy to eat. Order: Penne Romano- covered in Meat Sauce topped with Crushed Calabrian Pepper, Italian Sausage, Mozzarella and Provolone Cheeses and baked.

The crust was nice n light cooked perfectly. The sauce was a very fresh tasting tomato flavor. The cheese was flavorful but they had far too much of it on the pizza. From the time we walked in the door, a gentleman in the kitchen looked up and said greeted us. (There's a door so you can see into the kitchen from the foyer) I later learned it was Dave Pasqualone himself. We were promptly shown to our table and within a few minutes, a gentleman by the name of Chris introduced himself and told us what the specials for the evening were. Everything sounded great but my girlfriend picked the saccettini with the amatriciana sauce and I had the veal scalopini with a small side of saccettini. The meal was PERFECT! You could taste richness of the homemade saccettini stuffed with cheese. I was told that the pasta for the lasagna noodles are made on site which is used for the saccettini. The veal scallopini was so tender, I could cut it with a fork. Not too many capers, the right combination of butter, white wine and lemon. My girlfriend's amatriciana sauce (she was kind enough to give me a taste of two) had a little bit of a bite to it but not too much. It was mouth watering. We finished off the evening with a homemade cannoli which was superb. Towards the end of the evening, Dave came out into the dining room and personally greeted each table. We learned that Dave was the head chef at Monaco's Palace on Cleveland Ave many years ago. They always had wonderful food. To find this gem of a restaurant in Northeast Columbus, in a part of town where many restaurants come and go each month or year, is like finding a needle in a haystack. This quiet little Italian restaurant is tucked away in an unassuming strip mall that was incredibly popular in the 80's and 90's and has been churning out delicious homemade Italian dishes for over 20 years. We will definitely become regular patrons of this gem of a place. Thank you Dave, Chris and the other members of their staff to make a date night with my girlfriend a memorable experience.

They make their dough the prior day. It makes for a nice thinner crust on the pizza. The sauce was a nice flavorful sauce. The cheese on the pizza was a blend of Mozzarella, Parmesan and Provolone. On top of that some nice spices. The pepperoni was super flavorful and there was PLENTY on the pizza. It was super flavorful, I was only able to finish about half of it. I also ordered a cherry and apple pastries to take home. Oh my!! The pastries had plenty of fruit filling in them and so tasty. On to service, Lisa is definitely a superstar. SEVEN WORDS: Good, Mid-Level Italian / Gulf Shores Atmosphere / Bocce!…read more. Yes, I said "Gulf-Shores Atmosphere. This Mid-Size Family Restaurant and Pizza Pub offers an atmosphere that I*mmediately reminds me of Pensacola Beach near the Pier, St. Augstine Beachside, and some Carolina Family Resorts - although it's located in a staid, suburban location. . It did help that the weather was like being beachside on a Mach afternoon - just above 60 degrees with a light 3-5 mph wind. The Sun was out, the Cafe lights at the Bar just came on, and the Monday Night Bocce League was chucking wooden balls from one end of the arean to the other, all the while, gentle, non-sensical conversations were filling the air. 1970s Classic Rock softly filled the background noise. . But, we only came for Food - and always love a new place to eat. Since it was our first time, we ordered a Calamari Appetizer and two Standard Italian Entrees: I grabbed the Baked Ziti while my wife ordered the Fried Fish. . She's a little spoiled, being a Filipino: She is not a fan of Fish Sticks of Any kind - even if they were upscale and tasted fresh, as these did. So, we switched plates. .. I really enjoyed the Fish Fillets. The White Fish ?Cod? was fresh and not pasty, the breading was not cumbersome in any way, the oil was fresh - probably Vegetable - and I devoured it. It was quite a bit above average for Fried Fish, without being top-tier, like you'd find at a Lakeside Popup Stand at Buckeye Lake. The Fries were good, mild salt and still had slivers of skin on the fries. I still think they were pre-packaged, but they were done better than you'd ever manage at home, without going to extra measures. . My Wife's Ziti was very Good, too. It was more than she could eat - she was partially full before we sat down and the Soda + Calamari nearly filled her tummy. That was fine, we doggie bagged it and shared my fries and watched Bocce for about an hour. That was quite a bit of Fun - Especially on a Monday Night - without being loud and obnoxious - just pleasant, like enjoying GenXers and Boomers throw Wooden Balls back and forth and cheering casually and sharing company. . Our total Bill: Two Sodas, Calamari, Baked Ziti, Fish Fillet, came to a Total of $56. Somewhat Reasonable and we had leftovers (The Baked Ziti), which I devoured two days later. It was so much better after resting in the Fridge: like Fine Italian Cuisine more than Run-of-the_Mill Homemade Ziti. . It's not the best, but it's a place WE WILL RETURN to just to try out their pizza and sit inside and soak up the ambiance. A really fine place for 4-Star Italian - WITHOUT breaking the Bank.

The Polaris location is large and has a decent patio. The bar/lounge area is pretty big too, that's where we were sat when we came in for a weekend meal. Started with drinks and some apps. The cocktails were small and kind of meh. They only had 2 drafts, Stella & Peroni. I like both but it was strange that they had no other selections. The worst part was by far the food. Arancini - 6/10, nice crispy texture but the taste was a bit unexpected, like the added a bit too much Gorgonzola. Calamari - 7/10, a bit chewy but with a nice crisp, missing something fresh. Beef carpaccio - 2/10, Marcella's used to have an absolutely delicious carpaccio... this was a bit of an abomination. Beef slices too thick, crispy flatbread that broke up when I looked at it wrong, a white sauce on top that made the whole dish worse. Absolutely do not recommend. Dinner was a few pizzas 2/10 (read: precooked flatbreads with subpar toppings). The crispy potato "pizza" needs to be taken off the menu. Garlic sauce, cheese and these awful, overcooked potato chips. It was inedible - all 5 people at the table tried it but put their slice down after the first or second bite. Pizza Margherita DOC was a very salty, tomatoey thing. I think the grocery store version would be a better choice. We also shared the Pepperoni Sausage with mushrooms which was better, but it was undercooked and watery. Our friends got the Carbonara Pasta and said it was ok, but did not want to take their leftovers home. I don't get the hype or appeal of Marcella's whatsoever. Our server was fine, the food was terrible, ambiance is meh. Will not return.

Instead, it came with two small pieces of something unidentifiable and some American gorgonzola--very little blue cheese overall. The meats were overly fatty, and most of them were left on the board. I ordered the chicken giardiniera for my entrée, and it was a letdown. It was essentially a breaded schnitzel topped with chopped tomatoes, which completely ruined the breading. The cocktails were the highlight of the night--strong and well made. Unfortunately, the wine pricing was hard to justify. A bottle of Matua that retails for around $10 was priced at $40. Between the disappointing food and inflated prices, this isn't a place I'd return to.
