If your ever in the neighborhood, stop in at Sazon Perez. The food is based on home cooking straight from the Dominican Republic. For Breakfast try the mash plantains with the fried cheese. The restaurant is more of a take out and they do deliver. your better of not driving because there is a shortage of parking. the workers might not know to much English, but they are friendly. they usually will serve more then what they should. This place turned out to be a nice find. Don't have very high expectations as you will likely be let down. This is an affordable lunch option with good portion sizes and pretty darn good tasting food. I have had the chicken and goat meat lunch specials- both exceeded my expectations based on value and quality. Service is quick service and seating can be difficult during lunch time...but I've been lucky. Latin music will be playing. The place is right across from my cousin house so everytime when i am here, i alway see people walking in but never got a chance to try it. Finally yesterday i woke up and walk over to try it and i really enjoy it. It is Cuban food and it feel like alot of home cooking. The place getting pretty busy w/alot of local and oh man there ton of things to choose from and seem like everyone knew exactly what to order and i couldn't make up my mind because i wanted to try it all and they were too busy to explain it all to me so i order the spanish rice w.bean and some beef braising meat and 2 empandas and it was delicious. There are certain specials that are really really affordable!! Omg love the food very delicious everything tastes home cooked. All their seasonings are on point. I typically go here when my grandmother is in town. Mostly because she likes to stick to her Hispanic roots and refuses to buy anything thats processed (like Mcdonalds). The food taste great but the service is horrendous! The Managers are irresponsible, uncaring and dismissive. I used them to cater my work lunches a few times and there was always a problem something was always wrong, sodas were hot, delivery was late, no serving utensils... always something. They were never apologetic about anything! Worst case was when the day before my xmas lunch I called to confirm all was well with my order, they said they couldn't do my delivery! The day before... I don't understand how they feel this is the right way to run a business but I know I will surely never order or recommend this place EVER AGAIN! read more

I first tasted their food at my girlfriend's wedding which they catered. I could not believe the food but then the prices for a catered job were out of sight. I had them cater the food for another event I organized and to me the food tasted better this time. Their service is polite, the deliver on time, the food is freshly made and still hot.
