Amazing queso and authentic Mexican food! Small, family owned spot, and good service. Family friendly, and bigger than it looks from first glance!

Came here for Yelp event and all the food was absolutely delicious, so I knew I had to take my Nana and great grandma here. They are super picky eaters so I was a little bit nervous on how they would receive Sazon. The service this time as opposed to the Yelp event was very rocky in the beginning and quite disappointing. It did get a little bit better throughout the service and towards the end, but I wasn't impressed. The food was absolutely immaculate. The margaritas were way better last time versus this time. To my surprise, my grandma's absolutely loved the food. I will say, however, you're going to pay a very, very pretty penny for this food. While the food was perfect, I can't see myself coming here on a regular basis just because they're way too overpriced.

The wonderful owner made us feel right at home, every dish made with love and creativity, giving the impression she wanted us to be family. Fun staff know how to cook special unique dishes that are simply delicious, with lots of fresh real ingredients and beautiful colors.

Food was excellent. Really good. But service was a lot to be desired. Many times had to wait more than I should for have. Seems like I had to ask for water and refilled on drinks too much. Also took way to long to get check. Does the food make up for the service? I am not sure i will go back to find out.

Had a fine time at Sazon for dinner the other evening, got to taste a number of excellent appetizers and entrees after first having a very well made house margarita. The dining atmosphere was very comfortable with tons of parking out front. We were impressed with all the delicious and specially prepared sauces complete with homemade tortilla chips and incredible salsas. The tastes here are different from many other Mexican restaurants in the city and this is attributed to the folks who not only prepare the dishes but to the owner, Lisha and her staff who are involved basically from the farm to the table.

Excellent food! Service was great too! Cute little place tucked into a corner and so glad we found it. Don't miss a chance to try it out!

I went here last night for a birthday dinner with a group of friends. We split the elote appetizer. The corn wasn't sweet enough. Aside from that, I've still had better. I'd give it a 3. I ordered the Rellena Veracruz for dinner. The presentation was amazing being served in half a pineapple. The taste was pretty good, but not quite a home run. I'd give it a 4. I ordered horchata, but the waiter came back and said the kitchen staff spilled it, so I couldn't have any. Anyway, I'd give this place another try in the future.

As always - delicious! This time we got dessert and the Chocolate Tres Leches cake was the best thing I've ever had. It is a MUST if you are going to Sazon!!! The service was great and the time spent with family was wonderful. 10/10

Sazon is a hidden gem. While it's tucked away, the food is on point. We had the guacamole, carnitas and Puebla relleno. Everything was fresh and the guac was made table-side, which is always nice. Our server, Jesus, was very accomdating and friendly. The margaritas were also extremely good-- especially the watermelon and cherry pie.

One for the books! I'm a Colorado native, I've been to a LOT of Mexican restaurants and I think I may have found my new favorite. Some colleagues and I came here for lunch today and everyone was absolutely blown away by the food. I liked it so much and our server Reuben was so incredible that I actually returned for dinner with my wife this evening. The restaurant is beautiful and music is present but quiet enough for conversation. The food was absolutely insane. I had opportunities to try a few of my colleagues food and there were some standouts: The Sazon Margarita was delicious and spicy, while my wife had the Mi Querida "my darling" margarita super tasty. For appetizers: we tried both the Molcajete queso and table side guac, both were served with fresh fried tortillas you could break into chips. Just delicious!!! For dinner or lunch if you're a big fan of meat, the Carne Asada is amazing and absolutely bursting with flavor. The Carnitas melt in your mouth and are outstanding! One of the standout sides was the sweet corn tamale (somewhere between a sweet potato casserole and elotes but with hardly any spice, just letting the sweetness of the corn blend with the cheese). Didn't try dessert yet, but we'll be back... again and again. Reuben took care of my team at lunch and Andrés took care of my wife and I at dinner, both servers were amazing, attentive, and wonderful to be served by! This place is a hidden gem, one of those places you go when people are in from out of town and you want to show them something special in your city. Don't miss it.

Authentic, very tasty. Jesus was very attentive and helped us negotiate our food choices. We enjoyed siting on the patio under the string lights! We will be back!

Often. Have you seen how often I check in??? For client meetings. For get togethers. For coffee. For cocktails. It's neighbor is Cranelli's, my other fave spot for Italian. Just look for the bright yellow umbrellas and you know you've arrived to coffee heaven. Parking can get nuts during the busy hours but there's always one available if you just exercise patience so you can get the aahhmazing Vietnamese coffee. I adore the owners Tracy and Q who are usually on site and welcoming guests or working the counter. They invite you in with their warm smiles and happy soul. Staff is always friendly and ready to serve you the caffeine fix or in my case the cocktails. I am head over heels on the Lychee Peachy, Espresso Martini or Afterwork Refresher if I am not getting the coffee flights. Trust me, you can't drink just one Lychee Peachy. The coffee flights of chilled coffee are customizable (four options you can choose from a rotating list of regular and seasonal flavors). The flights are so Instagram swoon worthy and art itself. I also can't get over the incredible baked goods like the cream cheese cruffins that I won't share. There is such a selection of breakfast items like the lox and bagel that will taste so good with your coffee. The light bites are so yummy and a meal itself. I highly recommend the steak bites, the shrimp toast and the banh mi board if you had to start with anything. I learned that they have a similar concept at the Golden Triangle where Q's brother is the owner. It's on my list though I am partial and loyal to this location. Bonus points for premade cold foams that aren't overly sweet! The Critiques: The seasonal Coconut was my least favorite (lacked flavor and had a strange aftertaste), and the cups were a bit heavy on the ice. Still, it didn't ruin the experience. The Work Vibe The daytime ambiance is wonderful and very laid-back. It's a stellar remote work option with: Good Wi-Fi & plenty of outlets Ample indoor & outdoor seating Note: It's peaceful early on, but gets pretty busy by 11:30 AM. Ok, back to what you care about, their Happy Hour. For two people we got an Americano Taco, Nachos w/ Chicken, Guacamole, ceviche, and margaritas. The margaritas, for being at a Mexican restaurant, were passable. The mango margarita tasted a little like mango, like a Lacroix version of a mango margarita. This was the least enticing of what we ordered. The Americano Taco was a classic white person taco. Hard shell. Ground beef. Nothing too crazy. It was a taco. The ceviche had delicious plantain chips, which I love, to accompany it and the striped bass. In addition there was pineapple and sweet potato. My problem with the ceviche was that there wasn't a lot of fish in it. The guacamole was well mixed and flavored. Served with potato tortilla chips was nice and they were nice and salty. The best part, the nachos with cochinita pibil were flavorful, filling, and cheesy. I was the most happy with the nachos choice for HH so if you're looking for a good happy hour deal come for the nachos.

We were immediately sat on the patio around 5:45 PM. We were greeted and given "welcome bubbles". What a nice touch. After about 5 minutes, we were finally given menus. Other people were sat around us, so we waited to ask for the happy hour menu. We ordered the chef's choice charcuterie, a cocktail, and a glass of wine. The drinks and board were yum, but not quite a wine bar as there were very limited option by the glass. Also, we had to ask for plates and silverware where this is a basic item. While deciding on dinner, we were approached a couple times by the 2 servers in the section. One was friendly, the other, not so much, rather indifferent and made us feel a little uncomfortable and not very welcome. This kind of set the tone for the rest of our night. We ordered the "family share" chateaubriand. We realize this is an expensive cut, but the portion is definitely not a sharing cut, around 4 oz. It is closer to a single entree. When it arrived, the plate was cold, like the meat was lukewarm and the cauliflower was ice cold. Again, we had to ask for silverware and plates for this "family style shareable" plate. We brought the cauliflower temperature up with the server and got new cauliflower after we were done with the rest of the meal. Also, I sat with an empty wine glass and no one stopped to ask if I needed another glass. When the servers did stop by, it was a short interaction and we never even had a chance to ask before they were already walking away. We saw so many people come in and out that they must be doing something right, but for us, our experience was mediocre. If our meal would have been the correct temperature (it was well prepared, just cold) and better execution on the service, we may have had a better experience.
