Chicken Parmesan, and it was absolutely delicious!
Ian S.

Our family decided to try a few new places this year during our annual week-long getaway to Rehoboth this year, and Sazio came highly recommended. We made a reservation about two weeks in advance, and were promptly seated when we arrived. Wendy was our server, and she was absolutely awesome. The atmosphere and vibe was great, and while it was crowded the arrangement of our table made it easy to chat and connect. The cocktail menu was impressive, and Wendy was great with a recommendation. I had the chicken parmesan, which was also a recommendation, and what a feast it was. Next time, we are going to try dessert as well, but what a fabulous place and an awesome meal. We loved it!

Ugh I just love Sazio so much. I wish I had something like this closer to me!! Vibes, service and food are always on point. We absolutely love their chicken parm which comes with a massive piece of perfectly pounded thin and crispy chicken. Pro tip is to sub the side of pasta in red sauce for a side of pasta in pink sauce. My daughter loves this with their gemelli! We also loved the tortellini in pink sauce which came with lots of peas and prosciutto. The truffle cacio e pepe asparagus on special was divine and was basically like asparagus in a creamy cheese fondue. The bruschetta app is also a must get and I love how they melt cheesy pesto on top of the toast. They have a full bar and we absolutely loved the clementine spritz. The outdoor patio is a the perfect ambiance on a lovely summer night. We will always make a point to come here for dinner during a trip to Dewey!

2 of the 3 risotto balls. I was too anxious to taste these before taking a picture.

Arrived just before 5 PM on a Tuesday and there was already a line forming, always a good sign! We didn't have reservations, but many around us did, so plan ahead if you're coming during peak hours. We asked to be seated at a high-top table and the service was fantastic from start to finish. Happy hour is only available at the bar and high top tables. We started with the mozzarella sticks, and I was genuinely impressed by the red sauce, bright, flavorful, and clearly house-made. Then came the pasta tasting with meat sauce, which was hearty enough to be a full meal after sharing the appetizer. We also tried the risotto balls, massive and delicious, with a crispy exterior and creamy center. As if we hadn't indulged enough, we went for the Neapolitan pizza. The sauce and fresh mozzarella were excellent, but the dough was underdone and a bit too chewy for our taste. That was the only miss of the night. Still, we're already planning to come back for a full dinner experience. The vibe, the flavors, and the service were all on point. Can't wait to explore more of the menu next time!

Phenomenal food! We searched for "Italian food," and this restaurant stood out with great reviews. Even though it was out of the way, I decided to make the drive and I'm so glad I did. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. They were also running a promotion where proceeds from our order were donated to the YMCA, which was a wonderful bonus. Everything we ate was absolutely amazing. I will definitely be back. This is the best Italian food I've ever had!

Wednesday night off season special of chicken parmesan! It was excellent. So nice to sit outside on a beautiful day too! The serve was outstanding!

Very nice restaurant. Service was excellent and accommodations on the front porch were top shelf. Great effective heaters for outside. Fried mozzarella was great, garlic bread was great, sauce was extraordinary!! Tiramisu was also extraordinary! Entrees could have been better. Veal parm was not very good. Veal was somewhat rubbery. Chicken parm was so so as well. I had the lasagna. My sense is we would return for the service and for the appetizers or try different entrees. Once again, the people were great and that sauce was divine!!

Highly recommend! We went there on pasta night, we had spaghetti, rigatoni and bolognese dishes which were all delicious. Portions are generous and tasty. We shared the chocolate cake, again a generous size easily feeds two saw one table share with four. Our server was attentive and congenial.

Such a beautiful space! Staff, service, food, wine selection, all superb. Looking forward to many fantastic meals.

From the moment we walked in, the host and owner were incredibly welcoming and kind. We started with a Hefeweizen and a Cosmo. While the Cosmo wasn't anything particularly unusual, it was honestly perfection -- exactly how a good Cosmo should taste. Once we were seated, we were taken care of by two servers who were both so friendly, attentive, and conversational. We shared the buttermilk fried oysters to start, which were delicious -- and actually my first time trying a fried oyster! For dinner, we ordered the lobster spaghettini and the New Bedford scallops. Unfortunately, something about the lobster spaghettini was really off. I have NEVER sent a dish back at a restaurant, but neither of us could eat it. I couldn't pinpoint exactly what it was, but the flavor seemed to be coming from the breadcrumbs throughout the dish, which tasted extremely stale (not just toasted) or maybe just too much miso? That being said, the way it was handled could not have been better. The owner was incredibly gracious and accommodating and immediately offered to exchange my dish. I ordered the scallops instead, and they were absolutely delicious. Beautifully seared, and the accompaniments worked so well together. One bad dish could have easily soured the experience, but it genuinely didn't. Between the oysters, scallops, drinks, and especially the hospitality, there was far more to compliment than criticize. The staff made us feel so welcome, and I really appreciated how kindly the situation was handled. We would absolutely return and recommend this restaurant. Sometimes how a restaurant responds when something isn't perfect says just as much as what happens when everything is -- and they handled it wonderfully.

Place is definitely more on upscale side for a restaurant in a beach town…read more They being said the food and the price reflect That Went with the steak and lobster Full disclosure not really s seafood person But now I can see why people order lobster Roasted potatoes might be one of the best I've ever had same goes for the peppercorn sauce and those things I actually know something about Looking for a change of pace drift is a nice pledge to stop and staff was above attentive

Every single dish we ordered was outstanding, no exceptions. Each plate showed real care in preparation, with flavors that were bold, balanced, and memorable. It's rare for an entire meal to hit without a single weak note, but that's exactly what happened here. Only recommendation? Add more N/A options (less juice forward). Maybe a Phony Negroni or something. What stood out most was how the whole experience came together--great food, great service, and great atmosphere rarely align this seamlessly. Shorebreak isn't just a solid meal out; it's the kind of place you start planning your next visit to before you've even left. Highly, highly recommend.

The staff was friendly and service was quick Food: their menu has gluten allergens clearly labeled. we tried numerous appetizers including the crab soup special, fancy fries, deviled eggs, and brussel sprouts. The sprouts were our least favorite of them as they were way to light on the sauce. The other 3 were all very good and I think my wife died over the soup's flavor. The chorizo meatloaf had each component good tasting but when combined was great. The short rib entree was both beautiful and tasty!

Lincoln, the bartender, was incredibly rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested in providing any type of customer service. There were six of us, with five seats at the bar and one person standing. If they preferred that we sit at a table, that is completely understandable--but there is a professional way to communicate that. Instead, Lincoln never greeted us, barely acknowledged us, and when one of my friends simply asked what he was making, he literally rolled his eyes at her. From the start, we were made to feel like we were a burden. Then, instead of simply helping us find a table or taking our drink orders, a manager(we think) came over and started talking about the fire exit. The way she addressed one of our friends was completely inappropriate and came across as blatant fat-shaming. There was absolutely no reason to make a customer feel embarrassed or singled out because of their body. If there was a safety concern, it could have been addressed respectfully and privately. Another friend attempted to order a drink, and the manager told her she couldn't serve it. Again, instead of Lincoln stepping in and saying something as simple as, "I'll be happy to get that for you once I'm caught up," he said absolutely nothing. No apology. No explanation. No attempt to provide service. So we sat at the bar, were treated like an inconvenience, received nothing, and eventually left. I have never experienced such a complete lack of hospitality. Being busy is not an excuse for being rude. Having a group of six is not an excuse to roll your eyes at customers. And a safety concern is certainly not an excuse to make someone feel ashamed of their body. We came in ready to spend money and enjoy ourselves, and instead we were made to feel so unwelcome that we walked out without ordering a single thing. Management seriously needs to address the way customers are being treated here. Lincoln's attitude was unacceptable, and the manager's handling of the situation was even worse.

They have a handful of entrees, which looked great, but my party ordered a bunch of small plates to share amongst ourselves, which I feel is the best way to enjoy the menu. We had the Toragashi Tuna, Soup Dumplings, Crab Rangoon, Wok-Fried Green Beans, and Spicy Cucumbers. Most of the menu items have heat and spice, so if you're intolerant to spicy foods be sure to mention it to your server. Speaking of whom, the staff is exceptional. The host was very accommodating and charming. Very professional yet friendly. The server was excellent -- very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and cocktails. The chef brought out our food and checked on us personally to make sure we were enjoying the food. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, but didn't hover around as some tend to do. The ambiance of the restaurant is very chic and trendy. The lighting is low but not too dim, the decor is tasteful and modern. They have a bar near the entrance and 12 tables (and a table/booth combination). The restrooms are gender neutral and single occupancy. As you might imagine for a vacation spot, the small restaurant is quite busy. Reservations are recommended and can be made on their website.
