Amazing curation and reasonable prices. There were two empty hangers: in my dressing room and on the rack, which "Dorkis" (Dorcas?) commented on, by which I felt she could be suspecting me of stealing because she noticed I was holding multiple sweaters (which I came in with). They have to pay the consigners half, so I didn't exactly blame her. I kind of appreciated her grit and spunk, which I noticed several times, and the other lady was quite sweet. Some of the styles were runway-worthy, radical, others more upscale-practical, but all in good taste. I usually don't consider buying such expensive brands, but they made it possible. Treasure hunting among fellow shoppers was a bonding experience. Not elitist-uptight Marin, but a genuine criterion passion for clothing.

This store has been here for 25 years. WOW! We walked in and saw a Theory jacket with leather arms and snatched it up. It had been in the store 1 hour. Lucky us. Erin showed us amazing jewels in the store like these shoes by Parisian designer Thomas Feral. An amazing assortment of cashmere sweaters in all colors and sizes. We loved our experience!! Yes, we will be back.

A few brand new goodies I dropped off today

Marin is the Mecca if you are either an ordinary shopper or a reseller in the high-end resale market this is a fabulous cause as well. They dress people who are looking for a new start and help them get professional clothes to go to interviews and such. The donations for the store come from very nice and wealthy donors in San Francisco and other areas of Marin County. The prices here are amazing. I mostly shop for myself but occasionally find something well enough price that I could resell it. They have a five dollar rack where they put everything that hasn't sold in two months. I found some amazing things on that rack today. I also bought myself some lovely things spent more than five dollars of course but not anywhere near the actual value of these designer pieces if you are anywhere near this place, you must stop by and support this wonderful cause.

Happy Earth Day 2026!…read more If you're a data driven person like me, you know or will look up the tons of clothing that are polluting the planet. Solution? Resell or donate the things you no longer find useful, no longer want, and/or no longer bring you joy. The beauty of being a stylish woman? Someone out there wants the things I don't. They really REALLY do. Create space in your wardrobe and jewelry box, get some cash in your bank account, it's all good. Reaching out to The RealReal to start your consignment has never been easier. Once you contact a representative, they can send someone to you home, send a truck to do a front door pickup, or email you a label to ship the items you want to sell. So convenient! Once they receive the items, you will receive notification. They will have their experts review the items authenticity, photograph them, and list them. You will get a link to watch your items as they launch and sell. The cash lands in the account of your choice. Your beautiful things are now someone elses beautiful things with renewed positive energy. It's all so very wonderful and you saved those things from clogging the landfills and littering the planet. Since I had missed the return window, I listed them on Facebook Marketplace--only for the listing to be immediately flagged as fake. That raised a red flag, so I took the shoes to a well-respected designer consignment store in San Francisco. Their authentication expert pointed out three separate signs that the shoes were not genuine. So, not real real after all. When I took the shoes to The RealReal in Larkspur, I was directed to a text-based chat with a "specialist" who told me that because the return window had passed, there was nothing they could do. I'm now out over $400 for two pairs ( one with a broken heel that they said I should have come in right away about). Extremely disappointed. A company that claims to care about luxury and sustainability should at the very least stand behind the authenticity of what it sells. This experience makes me seriously question their values.

Coming from LA (moved to Marin a year ago) my standards for vintage / curated stores were pretty high. Especially with my experience in fashion. They have so many cute items, I always have to hold back from splurging on too many things. Emphasis on western wear. A few modern pieces mixed in with lots of vintage. Hoping this store stays open forever!

Being a former beachbum back in my youth at Oxnard Shores, anything with Beach in it sounds good to me. We were welcomed by Elise and started our search. Margo found some used cowboy boots, which there were plenty to look at and try on. The clothing favors fabrics in all shades of creams, tans, and blues with lots of whites. Mostly women's clothing but there were some used men's shirts and I have to say, very reasonably priced. I ended up buying a straw hat, a nice weaved worn leather belt, and deal of the day.... a lapis necklace....hey, I like it. We left to go get lunch so Margo could think about the boots and continued our journey. On our way back to the car, we stopped in and I ended up buying 3 neck scarves that I had not seen on my first visit. The place brought back soo many memories of living at the beach by just looking at all the options. In the back of the store, there are worn blue jeans everywhere for you to look at and consider. Also, some home goods, very nice lamps that would be nice as well as some dishes and other small items. You really need to time to enjoy the store and merchandise. This is a fun store to visit and most likely will go there again. Parking can be challenging in front of the store but if you continue North on Sir Francis Drake and make a right onto Greenfield and there is plenty of parking. It is about a 5-10 minute walk to the store at the corner of Bank and Sir Francis Drake.
