I did not want to download app but was told by management there was no other way to do basic things such as put in elevator or maintenance requests. Upon downloading & opening this app I was outraged by the fact it obviously serves a sales/revenue generating business NOT the typical resident building program . Why am paying an amenity fee ($50 per month) to have a business (Hello Alfred) push various products & services on me? I have to PAY for this privilege to be solicited? Is this a joke? The business model seems to be geared towards rental buildings where tenants have no choice and the cost is dropped on them in the way of amenity fees. Hello Alfred makes money off services and the building makes a cut of that fee. I suspect without the costs being passed/forced onto the tenant Hello Alfred would turn into Goodbye Alfred. I went back & forth on chat with Alfred rep which was more frustrating than helpful. I asked to speak to a supervisor in the United States. The rep claimed he/she/it was located in NYC. I was never connected to a supervisor as per my request. Hello Alfred had a major data breach in '23 which included names, addresses, personal/credit card info, etc. I read the TOS on the app the user is required to agree which includes a class action lawsuit waiver and arbitration agreement. It took the customer service rep 2 days to come up with a solution to email Alfred directly in connection with elevator and maintenance requests and to also remove my email from their sales solicitations. All of this would be frustrating if I was not PAYING for this service and it's worse because I am PAYING for Alfred. I should be able to submit building requests (buildinglink) and pay my common charge (clickpay) as I do with my condo in NYC on a website. We all should have an option to OPT-OUT of their sales garbage.

I trust her completely when she enters my apartment while I am at work, and I love coming home after she's been there! My building offers a light clean up for free which is wild to me because it is always SO well done. She wipes everything down, tidies up, makes the bed and changes sheets, and takes out trash/recycle. On top of that, I have her get my groceries. It has been so nice never having to grocery shop for myself! If your building has this service, I highly recommend you try it out!

I read several client testimonials on her website before using her services, and was really impressed with the wide range of accolades she received, and all of the different ways that she was able to help people including organizing and preparing for large, international moves. When we finally worked together, all those testimonials proved to be true. She really has a gift for looking at a space and figuring out how to best use it, without being judgmental about all the crap that you were trying to cram in there in the first place. (Hey--it's a one-bedroom apartment! What can I say?) She took a really no-nonsense approach to organizing the overstuffed cabinet space in my little kitchen, and it has completely changed the way I cook in there; it's just so much easier to access the things I need and utilize it on a day-to-day basis. I recommend Juli and OrganizeNY for any organizing job, big or small. I promise that you will thank yourself for making a small investment that will pay off in peace of mind.

NYC was on lock down from the FDR to Lexington Avenue and no taxis or car services were operating. This is where the amazing value of Max to the rescue kicked in. Mark took the subway and met me at the surgical facility for Medical Discharge. Mark was 15 minutes early and ready to go when they walked me out of the recovery room. I am 6ft 2in and 205 lbs and Mark walked me with one arm under my good side. (I had shoulder surgery). He walked me to the subway 3 blocks away. On time, Prompt and courteous service + I felt safe on the NY City Subway with Mark as an escort. Mark is a tall man himself and is a trained security professional. I highly recommend the fixed 3 hour rate as mark was 20-40 % cheaper than the other NYC rates quoted to me. Use Max to the Rescue, it will be one of the best decisions you'll ever make. So...leaving town after a wonderful weekend with friends, flying out of JFK for the first time. That was my first mistake, booking jfk. secondly, i left the hotel at 515pm for a 740 flight, mistakenly thinking that gave me plenty of time to take the E train during late afternoon rush hour (instead of taking express from penn station, which google mistakenly did not identify as an option). As we inched along to Queens, i asked a local what other options i had to get to the airport on time. On the advice of several passengers, I got off at Forest Hills. They told me "take a cab or look for the guy in the white jacket" no time to spare for an uber....no cab in sight, but sure enough, there was Max in his white jacket...i sized him up quickly. I'll be honest. Im a suburban mom with highly paranoid tendencies to believe every worst-case-scenario will find my kids or, in this case, me. I was on a dark street in Queens about to get into a strange guy's car. i quickly weighed the likelihood of ending up in a ditch in Jersey but wanted to get home so i texted his card to my friends, said a quick prayer and jumped in. Max to the Rescue indeed! Talk about Hustle. Sure, ok. He may have broken a couple traffic laws and my life flashed before my eyes a couple times but it was in heroic pursuit of getting me to my flight on time. He deposited me on the curb at JFK - in shock but intact - 20 minutes before my flight and, i estimate, at least 40 before the train I was on arrived. Besides Jason Bourne-level driving skills, Max was a top rate companion. He performed several original poems/songs for me (i thot one was a rap but he said it was in iambic pentameter) (i wish yelp would let me post video). He was also warm, funny, gracious and kept my panicked mind off a) oncoming traffic and b) my looming departure time. He seems to be a jack of all trades, running errands, pick-ups, drop offs...i would not hesitate to call him in the future, in either another clutch situation or a more sane one. Great guy, great service...amazing driving skills. Thanks Max! ..
