I have never called to cancel and I am the only one of the visitors who have contacted the rude arrogant business owner. I was told my small rental was not worth his time and he didn't need my money. I am sad that this older man feels he has to put me in my place by calling me son and telling me to listen here. This is why we are in the downward spiral in this country. The kind gentleman was familiar with the concentrator and spent time over 2 phone calls helping me with operating options and suggestions should I need him for immediate delivery of a replacement. His empathy and concern was palpable ( my wife visits MSKCC biannually for cancer and also has pulmonary cement emboli). His rental charge also was considerably lower than the company I was dealing with. I will be using his company in the future.

By finding Line Guys, I paid face value for the item and helped support a local and black owned business vs scalpers/resellers so that is excellent. There was just a bit of sticker shock when it came to shipping the item but that was not Robert's fault, I should've asked more questions to clarify the process of shipping but now I know for next time. Even though shipping was higher than expected, money still didn't go to scalpers but to a local postal retailer. The item was packaged well and arrived in perfect condition. When my Dad had a cold, Kathi made him some chicken soup at home and brought it to my Dad. She didn't have to. She could have just cooked the food in his fridge/freezer but chose to make him fresh soup. I so appreciate every time I visit my Dad and the house is kept up - the floors are swept and mopped, rugs are vacuumed, bathroom is clean, dishes are washed, and the litter box is cleaned. My Dad gets the attention he needs but they also give him the space he wants. They keep detailed daily notes regarding his blood pressure, oxygen levels, and the such. They also journal other notes including food he eats. I personally appreciate all the above mentioned care and compassion but also that they include a health component. Their focus is preparing healthy and tasty meals for my Dad - not just to throw ingredients together and toss it in front of him. They wouldn't last very long in my Dad's house if they did that. Lastly, and most importantly, he responds well to every person that tends to him from this company. The owner is very involved in the care on an intimate basis - not surface care. She also has days she is at my Dad's house for shifts. Being over 100 years young, my Dad has very specific ways of doing things or having things done. Senior 911 Works affords him that space and lends a hand - when he allows - and they do it with grace. They don't push anything on him - and he wouldn't allow that anyway. Senior Abuse is a very real thing and I will not tolerate ANY of it! I highly recommend this team of patient and compassionate professional caregivers/companions. We only have one Dad and therefore want the best for him. This company provides that confidence to me that he's treated in the respectful caring way that I desire for him.

Everyone is so helpful and caring. She's involved in the many daily activities. These include movies, cards, bingo, "happy hour", frequent outside trips and local entertainer performances. I signed a contract to a different location in Nassau County prior to him visiting what would have been his new home and community. Needless to say, my father father was miserable in the place I signed him up for. He stated that no one showed up for the scheduled activities and it lacked social interaction with his new peers. My father and I were still grieving the loss of my sister, he had been through so much in a short period of time, including the fact that he moved away from his friends and home in Florida by moving to New York. It was crucial that we found the place my dad could happily call home. I researched many communities, however, this time I had the benefit of bringing my dad on the tours so that he could decide for himself where he wished to settle in. The Arbors was his pick! Lisa gave us the tour and my father was warmly greeted by the staff as well as the fellow residents. The Arbors offers a plethora of activities everyday and my father is hardly in his room. It's a warm and friendly environment. The staff is attentive and my mind is at ease since I know that my father's medical needs are addressed. My father has been residing in The Arbors since 2023 and continues to tell family and friends that he is "living his best life" and has absolutely "no complaints". He has a beautiful apartment, which is cleaned everyday by the staff...it's as if he's living on a cruise ship, except it's on land! Lamont and his team arrived promptly, removed their shoe and they put on slippers, I didn't have to provide paper towels or trash bags (a huge pet peeve with other services). I scheduled a deep clean and man did I get it! Their method of clean brought them back to my front door where they left with the trash! I was in a meeting and asked them to let themselves out - I didn't even hear them leave. I hope that my budget will allow for at least monthly service! We contacted Home Care Assistance who came and met with us to assess the level of care required and to find a caregiver with the required skill set to appropriately take care of my mother. They found 2 caregivers within a day and reviewed their qualifications and experience with us. We requested an interview with one of the caregivers which was immediately set up. After selecting the caregiver, our Client Manager accompanied her on the first day and stayed a while to ensure a smooth transition. Our Client Manager keeps in contact with us regularly to make sure things are going well and if there is anything additional she and the team can do to assist. It's hard enough deciding it's time to get a loved one some help, so choosing a home care provider is a very important decision. We are very happy with the care and interest Home Care Assistance staff and personnel have supplied with the care of my mother. In a fast moving world with numerous responsibilities to attend to daily, it's very comforting to know that there is someone there taking good care of my mother and to ensure she has everything she needs. In addition to finding qualified help, it was very reassuring to discover the honesty of our caregiver as well. With my mother's dementia and confusion that comes with it, she paid her caregiver $50 cash her first day. The caregiver brought it to my attention and handed me the money. I was so grateful for her honesty as many people these days could have easily kept it.

Danielle helped our family through a difficult time. She is competent, professional and empathetic and was able to get us the help we needed in one day. My brother was recently diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer. Although he was approved for Hospice, the hospital would not discharge him until we had hired an aide for additional hours. Due to Covid, there is a shortage of health care aides. We found a facility, but they had to cancel us due to staffing problems and another facility canceled when the aide had been exposed to Covid and had to quarantine. That occurred the day before my brother was supposed to be discharged. Needless to say, he was very disappointed. We were referred to yet another facility, who could not help us, but did put me in touch with Danielle. She worked with me throughout the day, patiently answering all of my questions and helping me navigate through the process of getting the help we needed. Thanks to Danielle, my brother is going home, today, only a day later than what had been scheduled with the facility that had to cancel! We have been in touch with others at Home Care Assistance and have been pleased, so far! Thank you, Danielle!
