This company appears fractured with no strong leadership abilities or direction from owners and…read moremanagement. No integrity, I felt like they made up the rules as they went along and no one really knew what they were doing. Management does not follow policies. HR department is non-existent... THEY DONT HAVE ONE! ... there is zero accountability! Be prepared to get cussed out by caregivers and clients. It was not a good place to work. If anyone asked I would never recommend this company to anyone. There is no consistency in training, they don't respect your lunch unpaid hour. No flexibility at all, if you have to be late an hour or leave early they force you to take 1/2 day off your accrued PTO. Co-workers have no ethic... burping and cursing all day, managers answering 'RING APP' all day to answer to Fedex and UPS deliveries. Dress-code is non professional, teammates go on flip flops and t-shirts. When working here you will be told to give inaccurate information to clients and patients (BY MANAGEMENT) in order to "preserve" the image of "good" service ex. Caregivers that drive their own car.... there is no such a thing, a caregiver that makes $12hr is unable to buy a car, keep its insurance and pay for gas when working 20hrs a week. This job was only a paycheck that wont pay your bills and do NOT plan to make a career here! Turnover is ridiculously high with 10 coordinators in 10 years.......

My father's caregivers were always engaging, took him to museums, movies, shopping etc. and kept my father focused on enjoying each day despite being severely disabled. Not only did my father's caregivers make his life so much better, they also allowed me and my siblings to enjoy the time we could spend with him so much more. Right at Home North Shore is a high quality agency with caring professionals who take pride in the services they provide.

My father died on February 19, 2026 after weeks of a worsening cough and confusion that I…read morerepeatedly reported to the Bristal's contracted doctor and which were repeatedly dismissed. Dr. Jason Ford was largely absent, leaving critical decisions to a nurse practitioner, Jared Newman, while I struggled to get answers for over a month. When my father was finally hospitalized, he had advanced sepsis, pneumonia, and a UTI, all conditions that were missed due entirely to Dr. Ford and NP Newman's neglect and indifference. He died the same day. This was a devastating failure of care, communication, and accountability. Instead of a physical examination, tests such as an EKG and chest X-ray were ordered. Yet I was forced to chase down results myself. I repeatedly expressed my concerns and explicitly requested that Dr. Ford evaluate him. Those requests were dismissed. I was told by Dr. Ford's office to wait until Dr. Ford was physically present at the facility to speak with him, days later and only during a narrow window before he left at 1 p.m. This level of inaccessibility and lack of urgency is, in my opinion, entirely unacceptable in a medical setting, particularly when dealing with a vulnerable, elderly patient with known congestive heart failure. Sylvia Henderson, the Director of Wellness at the Bristal, did not intervene or take any responsibility to check on my father's condition. He continued to deteriorate over the course of a month. (Interestingly, two positive Google reviews of Sylvia were written by her own family members shortly after his passing.) It is difficult to put into words the frustration, grief, and anger that comes from knowing that his painful deterioration and death may have been preventable or alleviated with more attentive, responsive, and physician-led care. I do not write this lightly. I write this because no family should have to beg for a doctor to see their loved one, only to have their concerns minimized until it is too late. The director of Bristal, Gina Young, said "this was not her experience with this medical practice." I was left with the distinct impression that my concerns were not taken seriously.
