The owner admitted the assigned assistant fell short of their standards and that she had her own doubts about this assistant based on first hand experience, but they still assigned her out to a client. The owner offered a partial refund and a credit for future services, which seemed like a fair handling of the situation. Upon asking questions about how the credit worked, the owner said she was revoking the credit because I "didn't understand the offer."
