I called him while the work was being done. He told me to let him know as soon as the work was completed, and he'd be happy to do a walkthrough for me and squeeze me in so I could get home ASAP. He went to my apartment with his assistant and filmed the walkthrough and sent me the videos. It wasn't as bad as I had thought it would be, but it was still a job that would be too much for me to handle on my own. I knew if I hired Patrick, I could just walk back into my apartment as though nothing had happened. And that is EXACTLY what happened! He spent 1 full day and a morning cleaning the place from top to bottom. Everything was put back precisely according to pictures. I had done a lot of covering of closets, etc., because I was scared my building wouldn't do an adequate job. We had left it that he would check whether or not the inside of closets or cabinets needed to be done once he started the job. The oven still had oil residue, the fridge and cabinets were dirty, baseboards were dusty, windows had cobwebs, and even the dishwasher and microwave exterior were dirty. Kitchen counters still had brown residue that came off when wiped. Bathrooms were not deep-scrubbed at all, there was still visible grime and rust inside the cabinets. There was no communication from the company when the cleaner arrived or left, no photos of the work, and no follow-up... just a charge for a service that clearly wasn't delivered. We reached out multiple times requesting a refund. This experience left us feeling taken advantage of during an already stressful move. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.

Not for a second did any of the 3 take a break from their right on time arrival for our noon appointment. I believe it took them 3.5 hours. May be more. When Carlos says they clean inside and outside kitchen/ bathroom cabinets and drawers, window and door frames, light fixtures, wood molding, steam mop, vacuum, dust he wasn't kidding. Those are things included. They also bring their own eco-friendly cleaning supplies, mops, steamer, broom, and even garbage bags. If I hadn't just spent 8k to flee the disaster called NYC to another state, I would have absolutely tipped each of them far more. Payment is not expected until they are done. I'm bummed they don't live close to me anymore because I would hire them for twice monthly cleaning in my new place. The pricing is very competitive and every last penny was worth far more. They delay things forever. They tie up your whole day for nothing. And they charge way more! I like the companies that are a guy who has some other guys that work with him and they get the job done. After a few days, they reached out again. I replied and said that the robo reply wasn't good and that I'm not making an appt without knowing if they even do the tasks I needed done. I was assured that they could help with all 3. On Monday, they asked if they could come Tuesday of the following week. I said there was no way I could wait that long. Especially since there was so little change that there prices wouldn't be unreasonable. I need to know sooner rather than later if I need to move onto the next. I was talking with someone that I believe said she was the Operations Manager. Sigh... again, managers, having to inspect everything (rather than working from my description and the numerous pictures I supplied) and I told her it needed to be in a day or 2. She got back to me and proposed Thursday. That wasn't the day or 2 I wanted. But it was easier to accept than keep going back and forth. This was all on Yelp. No request to reschedule. No apology for standing me up. Nothing. Part 2 - replying to Justin's comment You misunderstood. I don't mean that the estimate gets higher by being a week later. I mean that companies that make a trip over to spend time estimating charge more than companies that don't. They have to make up for the cost of the time of the person who is estimating rather than that person being on a job (whether it's gardening, painting, cleaning or any other work). What is referred to in your reply to my review as "building a relationship with the customer" is the exact opposite of what I want. I want the work done and not to be bothered. I shouldn't even have to be home. My gardener comes once a week and we see each other in person once a year (or less)! I would certainly use the service again because they did excellent work, there was just a disconnect between what I would consider to be a normal cleaning and a deep clean.
