When we started our business many many years ago our accountant was a friend who was fine until our…read morebusiness grew and our investments also grew. Unfortunately there came a point where he was in over his head and made some costly errors. So we went on a hunt for a new accounting firm. Some came across as arrogant and acted like we should be begging for their service. Well we found Robert and Craig, ie: Eierman and Schulken. They came to our office, answered all of our questions, and the rest is history. They have now been our accountants for nearly 15 years. These fellows know how we operate and treat our books accordingly, never a question. They come to our office once a year for our company taxes and both men work through the day preparing our yearly taxes. Most years we end up paying, but we know everything is legit. Our policy is if we made money, then give Uncle Sam his share and move on. This past year was challenging for most businesses but E & S was always there. They held Zoom meetings for all their clients, and kept us posted on PPP and all the changes that were constantly being made. Half way through the year they take the initiative to check our books and advise on whether or not to up our estimated tax payments. We have been very happy with them and plan to use them as long as we continue in business, hopefully for many more years. Obviously I recommend them and suggest if you find yourself in need of an accounting firm. Don't waste your time searching, just call Eierman & Schulken and I know you'll be just as pleased as we are.

Yes, this is what you want and need, but there is more: How you are treated. Over many years, I've seen all types of people (rich, poor, of all colors shapes and sizes) CRAM into this tiny place, and wait. No matter who they were, how they were dressed, or when they arrived, they were treated with respect and kindness and allowed their dignity. Allowed what every human being deserves. . At a very young age, i came ONE DAY BEFORE taxes were due. Other people also waited. All available chairs taken. One man with just a big brown paper bag packed with crumpled papers and tiny receipts. He was not turned away. For over 40 years, I came to both Nat Cooper and Ron Simmons, though they were around for much longer, and no wonder:. Cooper and Simmons knew how to run a business. I feel they were real New Yorkers. They handled things in stride, with their quiet sense of humour, they had integrity, knew how to put people at ease, and who to hire to work for them. highly skilled, smart, fast, accurate, SAVVY. After getting married I brought my husband. (very nervous about the whole thing). from Park Slope to them. While working on our stuff, Ron Simmons would glance at him from time to time and say just one word : R E L A X - drawing the word way out, with his quiet sense of humour, making me laugh like crazy. I knew everything would come out fine. . Well, my husband finally did relax,,after we left ... And he laughed later, ..He laughed plenty. HE LAUGHED ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK after he got the money back from the filed tax returns. Forget glitz, neon signs, wall to wall carpeting, or fancy titles. This place will always have my respect, and bring a smile to my face when I see their sign. . N. Cooper & Company, I wish you continued success.
