He's fast, organized, patient, and incredibly diligent, even when the store is busy and clearly understaffed. What stands out most is that he genuinely pays attention to customers. He always asks if I need an envelope, packaging help, or anything else before I leave. He's also a notary, which makes the process even easier, and he handles everything efficiently without ever making customers feel rushed or like a burden. You can tell he takes pride in doing things correctly, and honestly, he's one of the main reasons I continue using this location. I must get 50-75 packages each year through Amazon, FedEx, USPS, DHL, and UPS. UPS specifically is the only one that ALWAYS gives me issues. My package does not arrive half the time. No one ever rings my bell they just leave a post it note on the fort saying to pick up down the block. Every single time I order something and it comes from UPS I have an issue. I go out of my way to avoid them at all costs. I have had to get refunds on my last two orders and UPS have offered no explanation for why the package was never delivered. I have cameras and would know if the package was delivered and or stollen but UPS simply never delivers anything then have the audacity to send an email update claiming delivery. No doubt in my mind that this location is scamming customers or is the most negligent location in the country. read more

Avoid! I walk in to get a box on Monday the 18th of August around 4:50pm and the UPS worker tells me it's 40 dollars. He then proceeds to strike a conversation with another UPS worker. After waiting for 5 minutes I askm if I can see the box. "I'll get it when I want to." Absolutely the laziest UPS worker I have ever encountered. Meanwhile the other shorter/smaller UPS worker (saying that just to set them apart) is waiting on customers. He served at least 5 customers while the larger, lazy as can be, UPS worker is chatting it up as if on break. This guy does not deserve a paycheck. I left in disbelief to Fed Ex around the corner. I paid for express shipping, my package was supposed to be delivered on 12/19. The package was delayed for an unknown reason, then shuttled around the city on 12/20, before finally being delivered on 12/22 after I had already left town for the holidays. I was unable to talk to an agent to request a refund, as their automated customer support refused to put me in touch with anyone. I will, to the best of my ability, never use UPS again read more

Whatever you do, don't get a bix at this ups store. Their business is about sending out packages, not handling ones that come in. I'm supposed to get an email when packages arrive but I often don't. And when I do go into to get a package, they often can't find it and i have to prove with vendor emails that it was delivered. I really like this location! I never have an issue when dropping off my packages/ returns. The staff are always pleasant, friendly or just courteous. Sometimes there's a line and they seem to be short staffed at points when you would think it' seems to be a peak time for them and only one person is available BUT that doesn't dissuade me from coming and it doesn't mean they are rude to anyone. It just adds a few more minutes on to my wait. I think maybe they should have two lines, one with returns where people have the QR codes ready and they can drop off and go and one for people who need to actually do transactions. This way you aren't waiting too long to just drop off something that would take maybe 2-3 minutes. That's my only reason for not giving 5 stars. Aside from that I have no complaints. That isn't even really a complaint, just an observation and maybe suggestion. However, I greatly appreciate all the workers there and thank you for them always getting my returns and packages out without a hitch. read more

Sent my IMac Pro 27" from NYC to Orlando. Cons: The Cashier Juan lies about fee, when I asked him how much it will be, I gave him exact type of IMac 27 size, that he could tell me exact cost, I told him address, told him I want to insure it for $5000 where it goes and he said to me it will be approximately with packaging fee $165. Next day I brought my IMac and guess what, he said my price will be almost $300!!!!!!!!!!! I was super mad!!!! How come you could lie to me when I had to bring this heavy IMac 27" to you?????!!!!! Of course I didn't want to take it back, because it's super heavy and I spend money for taxi already!!!!! That's a bed service!!!!!!! And he even didn't say sorry, he looked at me like what do you want, will you send it or not???? He said I told you approximately price. I understand if it's difference between $20-50, but not double!!!!!!!!! 2) I got my IMac thanks God not broken, but on the box it's even wasn't says it's a FRAGILE!!!!!!! (And I paid extra for that!!!). Of course the box was little destroyed. And packaging was really not good, it could easily get broken!!!! But thanks God everything was good!!!! I've shipped from here a few times, usually when it's too much to put into one of those price fixed USPS boxes. My last visit in was my whole suitcase. Not wanting to tote it behind me on a 90 degree day while healing up from an injury, just didn't have the energy. At first I was just going to lighten the load, and then I was told it wouldn't be that much more to ship the whole thing, so I had him price it out. I decided to have it boxed so it was a little more, although I was told they ship them unboxed also. I don't know why, but images of my unmentionables all over the back of a UPS truck flashed through my mind. Yes, box it, please. The whole process took less than 10 minutes, I wouldn't hesitate to do this again. Was sort of nice to not have to wheel it to JFK, and then again at ORD, just had my laptop bag. I may check into shipping my bag out on my next trip, if I'm feeling equally lazy. read more

This is a review for Klaus. I was in a complicated situation returning my verizon router by mistakenly putting down the wrong receiver address. This was going to cost me $170 if I failed to send the routers back to the correct address. When I called the store and spoke to Klaus about this problem, he was very friendly and willing to help. Whenever I checked in on the router's status, he was patient with me on the phone. And today, we were finally able to track down the router and send it back to the proper address. One of the worst UPS stores in the country. Workers here are scammers and do not like their jobs. I came into this store to make an emergency overnight shipment. The worker weighed my package and provided me with a quote for $350.00 plus $30.00 for them to pack it. I asked if I could buy a box and pack it on my own since my items were fragile. In a rude way, he said yah but you cannot pack your items in this store and need to go home and pack it and then bring it back. I then said, nevermind, I'll just pay you guys to pack it and he said ok. I sat down and got my items prepared for him to pack it. I waited back in line and gave him the exact same thing he weighed earlier. This time he gave me a quote for $490!!! He said the price is higher because it is now 30 minutes later. I called UPS corporate HQ and they said prices should never change in the same day and it is likely this worker was making up his own prices. I've heard of NYC taxi scammers but now you gotta look out for UPS packing scams! read more

I called the w. 57th st UPS store recently to make sure they would be open due to the snow. I spoke with David who was very helpful not only about my package but also updating me that they were open. A few hours later just as I was heading there, I received a call from David updating me that due to the snow the store was going to be closing soon. (I'd mentioned that I was travelling from the Bronx in our earlier conversation ) It was 1:30 but I did not want to chance it. Thankfully, David was there the following morning, so I was able to thank him in person. He was over the top helpful,kind, well informed, and concerned enough to call and update me that the store was closing. Overpriced! I wanted to ship a bicycle wheel to Utah for repair. I asked the price for packing and shipping. The wheel understandably is not a conventional size, but they quoted $125 for the cheapest ground shipping!! The wheel and the box would weighted less than 2 lbs. So I got a recycled wheel box from my bike shop and packed it myself. I brought it back to the UPS store thinking it would save some cost... I was very wrong; they wanted $80!! So I walked down the street to the post office and shipped the same box for $20 and that is with tracking!! read more

This is a review of their notary services. It was quick and reasonably priced ($2 per document! I've paid upwards of $10 for each notarized document at similar places). The notary was very friendly and efficient, as well as accurate. I've actually been to notaries that 1) didn't complete each section of the document and 2) completed parts of it incorrectly! Thankfully, that wasn't the case here. Will return for any future notary needs. read more

Worst customer service EVER. The guy working on a Saturday morning is miserable and clearly doesn't like his job. I walked in and started looking at the boxes to see what size I needed he literally yelled at me in front of the ONE customer in the store and said "Ma'am put the box back, you can't just touch the boxes." I said, "what?" He said, "You have to wait until I finish." The boxes are not even behind the counter, mind you. So I waited, he scolded me again, and then he asked what size box I needed. I told him I wasn't sure and that's why I was looking at them. He angrily went and grabbed a box and told me it was $14 and some change. Needless to say I didn't buy anything. I went straight to FEDEX where the SAME size box is $4. Do not go to this location unless you absolutely have to. It's horrible for customer service and the markup is insane. What a crock! read more

Say's "they want you to use those" pointing to rentable computer workstations with minimum charge of $3. and the clock runs if the printer has issues, giving you no pause to approve charges to your credit card. With this pandemic, I use courier services a lot but I'd rather walk further or wait for a pick-up than deal with this store. JUAN is the worst UPS person I ever ever have to deal with. He WILL NEVER give out the free UPS boxes, labels and mailing pockets, you wont find them in the store free to use - they're hidden under his counter - btw. He will suggest that you buy boxes instead, in the most grumpy, unhappy and unappealing way like you giving him business is above him. This UPS must be a franchised store because service sucks....anyway another block is Staples, they're faster, nicer and provide the free shipping materials that any UPS stores simply offer . read more

I left a very important insurance card behind. I emailed the store I believe Axl (?) responded and said they would check. Went the next day - I usually see 2 gentlemen - they were both there. I was so grateful when I was handed my card. They are honest decent guys and I will definitely keep going back. They are both very pleasant, and are very customer driven. I can honestly say I don't mind traveling the distance because these gentlemen are hard working and treat well. (Very sorry I didn't get their names, but both look to be in their 20's) read more
