Relatively thin, crust wasn't overly thick, GREAT flavor (especially the Buffalo Chicken) and good crunch. I can't imagine how good the pizza would have been if we had ordered a whole, fresh pie instead of eating reheated slices. + Beet Salad with Grilled Chicken - Fantasticccccc salad. Lots of sliced beets and sliced grilled chicken. The honey mustard dressing was the perfect dressing for this salad. + Kids Rigatoni Bolognese - Very good bolognese. There was plenty of meat sauce and it was very tasty. Our kids absolutely loved it. + Menu consist of not only a variety of pizza, but also a nice selection of appetizers, strombolis, calzones, sandwiches and pastas. THE SERVICE ------------------- + Excellent all around service. ++++ Every employee was super friendly and asked if we needed help as we were figuring out what to order. ++++ Waiters came by multiple times to check up on us. THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------- + Spacious interior with lots of tables and chairs. + The restaurant is connected to Al Dente, which is a pasta restaurant next door. These are a couple of the popular menu items I explored: The Godfather: This sandwich was packed with thinly sliced roast beef and smothered in hot gravy and melted mozzarella cheese. It may appear small in size, but it was very filling. The appearance of the left sandwich looks off due to the gravy oozing out of the hero. Do not let that deceive you because this sandwich is phenomenal! French Fries: These fries practically eat like a meal. They are piled high and deep inside a Chinese container box. The serving quantity was more than plentiful. The crinkle cuts are generously sprinkled with Ted's North secret signature seasoning. They are so tasty you won't need any dipping sauces to supplement the frites. I enjoy the seasoning so much that I wish I could purchase it separately, but it's not for sale. Due to its popularity, there is usually a line, but it moves pretty quickly. There is no indoor or outdoor seating, but there are benches and tables nearby at Van Saun Park. If you decide to dine here, Ted's North is open Monday through Saturday, so please plan accordingly. #tedsnorth #tedsnorthdelicatessen #tedsnorthdeli #thegodfather #frenchfries

All the staff were sweet and attentive. The owner was wonderful. I can tell he definitely put time and sweat into his restaurant. Fresh ingredients. Love the eggs sausage traditional breakfast. Potatoes were seasoned well. I wish they have Egg Benedict on the menu tho. Pancakes were fluffy. Big portion. Love the apple crisp. Sweet warm apples with the crumbs on top is such a great combination. Lemon bar and brownie were good. Def a great restaurant at the neighborhood!

Rolling pins have been must-have equipment in kitchens ever since people started baking with flour…read more It is such a simple tool that is a long, thin cylinder used to flatten dough into sheets by rolling it out on a wooden or marble board. It has two handles on the side, making it easier to use. It can be made of wood or plastic. Located across from the train station, we decided on a celebratory meal at this popular spot for brunch/lunch in Westwood. A reservation was made for a party of 7 via Yelp. Upon arrival inside this cozy interior featuring retro decorations filled with rolling pins from ages past with several tables, we were greeted by the staff and checked in at The Rolling Pin Cafe. We were directed next door to their annex building, where it was warm and homey but with more seating. We were once more greeted by the staff and managed to get a table by the window. Their menu contains classic comfort foods for breakfast and lunch with specials rotating weekly. My partner, our friends, and I decided on the Pin Platter, Chicken Salad Sandwich, NJ Sloppy Joe Sandwich, Pesto Turkey Sandwich, Chocolate Chip Pancakes with Strawberries, Avocado Toast Platter, and 1/2 Smoked Turkey Sandwich with Mac & Cheese. The sandwiches accompanied their house-made sweet potato salad. Everything continues to be made on-site, so it's remained fresh and has that genuine homemade taste with wonderful flavors, which is hard to find these days. Portions were generous, and the price was reasonable. The owner, Jeff, is such a nice guy who sent over some complimentary desserts to sample: lemon bars, cheesecakes, brownies, and apple cobbler with vanilla & chocolate ice cream. The server Johanna was friendly and accommodating. This place never disappoints...

Well, Soup Maison and Latin Kitchen makes soup an everyday food! There's always the favorite tomato bisque or tomato tortellini soup but with a rotating menu of different soups and other dishes plus a deli and empanadas, you really can't go wrong and it can be different every time you go. My new favorite is the tomato tortellini soup paired with one of their empanadas. I'm a fan of their beef empanada but their buffalo chicken empanada was a great balance of a savory chicken with just the right amount of heat. Try it with the green sauce, it's not for everyone's taste but it's a great mix. The fact that they have many soup options (with samples, if you wish) you can pair it with something or just go for a large and have it all to yourself makes it a place to mix and match on every visit. It's a comfy place, but there's not that much room to dine in, but there's a small table- but I don't mind running back home, get comfy and enjoy the food. Service has always been friendly- don't hesitate to ask for a taste, but let them do it- it's not self serve.

At the end they cooked off enough food to feed 60 people all over again! We noshed all night and still had plenty of leftovers. Eighty Twenty 32 Westwood Ave…read more Westwood, NJ 07675 The Smasher Onion Rings What once started as a pop up has now revolutionized into a full scale burger restaurant. The smasher: This signature menu item has all beef patty with a 80% to 20% beef-to-fat ratio, hence the restaurant name. It was topped with caramelized Vidalia onions, American cheese, and topped with their homemade Mandy sauce. The quality and taste was more than superior. I especially enjoyed the Mandy sauce which is a savory combination of ketchup, mayo, honey mustard and barbecue sauce. (The combination of all these sauces may seem overzealous, but it was actually a perfect concoction.) The minor drawback is that the size of the burger is on the smaller side, which accounts for its cost effective price. Onion Rings: These gigantic beer-bartered rings were piping hot and crispy on the outside while soft and oniony on the inside. A cup of Mandy sauce is also included. Ironically, the cost of the side actually is slightly more than the burger itself. All menu items are sold à la carte. There is an up charge if you request any additional specialty sauces with your meal. However, complimentary ketchup, horse radish sauce, hot sauce and many other condiments are complimentary. If you do not wish to buy any beverages, a free water cooler is available. Everything is freshly made to order so expect a wait, but it is definitely worth it. For the most part, this was a positive dining experience and I am happy to see a local pop-up transform into a permanent restaurant. #eightytwenty #smasher #eightytwentywestwood #mandysauce
