Pasta was delicious, cannoli are incredible tasty; it seems that they use high-quality ingredients on the food. The order came with a an amazing side salad. I really enjoyed Fettuccine w/broccoli rabe & sausage... was so good (I like just a little bit of oil in my pasta, and that's what this one had; just enough.) The cheesesteak was basically fatty roast beef, salty and inedible, it went in the garbage. The focacchia sandwich and burger were good. The Italian hero had what looked like one piece of ham, lettuce and tomato. I would not recommend this place. To be fair, I have not tried the pizza. read more

Just had one of the best steak sandwiches ,that I could say I've had in my life. and I've gone all the way to Pats and Gino in PA and no comparison this sandwich is above and beyond the way the cheese is just melted right on it with all the onions and green peppers the flavor exploding in your mouth exquisite. It's been years since I've had food from here and now I remember why. The prosciutto sandwich was horrible. The menu stated it would have prosciutto, fresh mozz, arugula, roasted peppers, lettuce, tomato, red onions, o&v. I asked for no lettuce. Prosciutto was gross, barely any mozz, roasted peppers, and barely any vinegar. It came with no tomato, onions or arugula. The roasted peppers were the best thing on the sandwich. We also ordered stuffed mushrooms with bacon and cream cheese which were $9.50 (even more expensive than our prosciutto sandwich which was $8.50). Do not order from here. We placed an order and after an hour it didn't come we called and were told its on the way. After an hour and a half we did not receive it. We called and were told we should come pick it up that it wasn't down for a delivery even after we left a tip for the driver. I said I would like it to be remade since it's been sitting there for over an hour. They said no then hung up on us. We called back multiple times where they did not answer then called back and asked to speak to the manager who told us the person who answered the phone made a mistake and they wouldn't remake the food and we couldn't get a refund our only choice was to pick to up. She then hung up on us when we said that was unacceptable. When we called back at least wanting our money back she wouldn't get on the phone but we could hear her screaming in the background about us. Will never order here ever again read more

Foschinis is consistently the best pizzeria in Dumont. There should be lines out the door of this place. First,the portions are extremely generous and the prices are modest. Everything is always packed well and with care and extra bread :) The service there is top notch. For a little town pizzeria you expect the norm. Someone takes your order, tells you to wait, says thank you, and thats about it. Not here. The employees are incredibly kind and always go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied with what you are getting. They ask how you are. They interact with your kids. They ask if you need anything while you are waiting. For this kind of service you would think you're in an upscale Italian restaurant. The drives is beyond kind. SO polite, so patient. The owner is an amazing woman who everyone should take time to get to know. The things she does for the Dumont community is immeasurable. This is exactly the type of small business we should all be supporting. They're always there for the residents in this town and we should be there for them, especially during this pandemic. In my opinion, this place along with one other hands down has the best pizza in Bergen County. Not to mention, the Mexican burger is spot on! The blend of jalapeños with their spicy mayo with pepper jack cheese leaves you on a hot and wild ride right into Mexico saying "órale," in either excitement or pain. Wings or lack luster, but it's all good because their Pasta makes up for it. Sometimes the workers are a little rough on the direction following aspect of a job, but overall these people do an amazing job and have wonderful food to offer you. STAY AWAY!!!!! I ordered a couple plain slices and 2 specialized slices. After a 20 min wait they gave me one plain slice and substituted the other with a Chicken Parm slice even though I never asked for it. They told me they'd fix it and give me a new cheese slice of pizza. After 15 minutes they told me that the last cheese pie was going to be delivered to a customer. They never gave me a plain slice nor did they refund me my money. All in all the pizza was mediocre at best. The cheese had congealed and was plastic-like. Ordered a cold antipasto salad, large half sausage pizza and a small buffalo chicken pizza. I was impressed by the amount of sausage on the pizza. The sausage wasn't the usual shaved pieces I've had elsewhere, while there were thin pieces there were also some very meaty pieces which was a nice change. Hubby had the buffalo chicken pizza, said it was good. The plain cheese was gobbled up by our 3 year old, so it must have been good too. Will definitely order from here again. read more

If I could give them negative 10 stars I would. Absolutely disgusting. Food arrived cold. Shrimp francaise had zero taste except for the extremely fishy taste. Tomato sauce on side of calzone looks like thick buffalo sauce. Calzone has zero taste. I asked for extra ketchup for fries, got ZERO packets. I asked for mozzarella cheese on cheesesteak - came with American and I'm allergic. For $90 I expected a hell of a lot more. Never ever ever again. Gross. read more

I have ordered here often because the food is good but my most recent visit was not a great experience. I placed an online order, rec'd confirmation that order was rec'd but when I went to pick up my order they did not have it. I had to wait until my was made which was not the reason for the single star rating. The reason for the single star rating is the fact that I was questioned if someone else from my household came to get the food because it turned out that they gave it to someone else. Another reason for the single star is the fact that I observed the person making the pizza handle cash and then went back to making the pizza, without washing hands in between Disgusting! We used to live in Jersey City where there was excellent pizza on basically every corner. When we moved to Bergenfield three months ago, I was disheartened to discover that every pizza place was terrible to average at best. We tried a few based on Yelp reviews. Good pizza is almost non-existent around here ... or so I thought! We received a Foschini's menu in the mail and figured it can't be any worse than the dozens of places we've already tried. I'm elated that this place surpassed my expectations. First of all, delivery was quick which is always a plus. We ordered a margarita pie and an escarole & bean soup. Both were fantastic! The pizza was well done like we asked, tasty as heck and they weren't skimpy with any of the ingredients. The soup was so yummy - can't wait to try the pasta fagioli next to see if it's just as good. I have a pretty good feeling it will be! I will say that there are some odd choices on the menu ... seems a little all over the place, but what do I know? Anyway, I can't complain. Great experience! This place is average. Ordered the buffalo chicken wrap... it's a giant sloppy mess. Impossible to eat without a fork and knife. Sauces dropping everywhere. And the "side" of fries that comes with it is just sad. Also had the Greek salad. I used to order from here at least twice a month. The pizza's were good, but the last few times, they have been terrible. Tonight I ordered the Supreme pizza, and it was wet and cold. There are too many toppings set in the middle of the pie and it fell apart. This has happened one too many time and I will not be ordering again. If you want pizza and you happen to order from here, order a pie to dine in with friends, and you should be ok. I see some bad reviews on here, but I never experienced any bad food or bad service from there, which hopefully means they improved after reading these reviews. Giving this place three stars because one of the two items we ordered fell flat and the lack of staff on a Sunday afternoon for lunch, bringing our food out later than expected. The spice of pizza we ordered (bruschetta on a white pie) was great! Definitely could eat a few slices of that. The Stromboli took a while but was worth the wait. Unfortunately, the chicken panini fell short for me. The chicken was over cooked and the sandwich fell apart while I was holding it. This place is great for a quick slice but wouldn't recommend the chicken pesto panini. My dad was raving about this place so I figured I'd try it out and order food for the family. I ordered the Special #1 which was a large margahrita pizza, fried calamari, and a 2 liter soda. The pizza was very chewy; was not what I had expected. I expect it be crunchy and a bit salty from the mozzarella, but not at all. It was very bland and disappointing. Fried calamari was very chewy as well. Seemed like they were frozen rings, battered and fried when ordered straight from the freezer. I had to put my pizza in the toaster oven to get the crunch back.
