THE GOOD ---------------- + Solid pizza, not going to be the greatest or the worst, but hits the spot if you're just craving fresh pizza pies. Pizza pies come out super fresh and piping hot. + Individual slices are HUGEEEE, the size of 2 slices. + Inside of the restaurant is cozy and never gets so busy that you can't find a table. + Service is no frills and, if you dine in, they will serve you after you order at the counter. THE NOT SO GOOD ---------------------------- - On weekend evenings, if you're just seeking an individual slice, the remaining slices might not look all that appetizing. - Parking lot is a bit awkward to get into as it sits right off of busy Farview Avenue. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = Restaurant is super small and only has a few tables, but wasn't crowded even on a Friday evening. read more

- Cozy little neighborhood pizzeria with a few tables for dine-in - Located on a main road in a mostly residential area; parking lot is a bit tight - Visited on Halloween night--started off quiet, but the place got busy--lots of dine-in guests and take-out orders, with the phone constantly ringing for deliveries - Staff worked efficiently under pressure but seemed understandably overwhelmed by the nonstop rush - Pizza slices were huge and flavorful--the medium-thick crust balanced nicely with the sauce, cheese, and toppings - The breaded chicken salad was also very large, with plenty of greens and chicken; however, the chicken was a bit dry and the olives' strong flavor overpowered the rest of the salad - There are a couple of tv screens along the interior wall; we enjoyed the day's episode of Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune :) read more

Sub-par pizza for take-out/delivery. The dough is really thick and I don't like the cheese. The wings were good, though! There are other options in the area that are much better. 2.5 stars. read more

Paramus, NJ - we were passing by and decided to stop in for lunch. I had a pepperoni pizza slice which was large and had plenty of pepperoni on it as you can see! My husband enjoyed his chicken parm sandwich, which was also huge so we took half home. Prices are good and cheaper than what I'm used to seeing around here. There are a few tables inside with a small family restaurant feel. read more

The main entrees (Chicken Parm, chicken Marsala) were delicious and full of flavor. However, the pasta was undercooked. The service was excellent. The restaurant was small, but very warm and inviting. read more

Best pizza I've had in a minute. I ordered a meat lover's pizza and it arrived on time and still hot. The crust was crispy and held the all the meat toppings. Everything tasted fresh. The sauce didn't have that tin can taste to it. Cheese was pitch perfect. Not oily and cheap. The buffalo wings are actual buffalo wings and didn't taste frozen. Will definitely order from them again. read more

We ordered for Our Home Depot in Paramus and I can tell you, this Pizza is the best in Paramus and their Wings are great. Very crispy, not oily and so delicious. JD and his crew are the best. Thank you for being open during the Blizzard on 2/23/2026 & making our employees the most delicious pizza , salads and wings. We our now your fans. You are a blessing. My employees & I, thank you. Warning: ASK FOR CURRENT MENU with current prices!!! They handed us a menu in which the prices were reasonable for mediocre Italian food. Our bill was then much higher. When questioned we were told, " Oh that menu must be 20 years old." !!!!????!!!! $4.95 for a slice of not great plain pizza? $18.95 for tortellini (it was $11.95 on the menu? I can buy a package for $2.49 on sale this week!!!) And a side of overworked tough meatballs in desperate need of more parsley & less handling were not good & very tough. Do not waste your time here unless you want one slice to go & you confirm all prices before you order. Deeply disappointed! This is why restaurants are going out of business. (Should've known; we were the only ones there on a Saturday night!!!) Dishonesty in business kills it! Good luck La NO Bella! read more

PROS: The food was good, prices were nice, the place was clean, good amount of parking, fast service, and many places to sit. CONS: It's tough to pull out of the front part of the parking lot cause it's against the street. Also, the girl that worked their had a cold personality towards us OVERALL: I'll definitely come back here when I'm in the area. One thing I love about the pizza is that it's thick, unlike many places where its as flat as paper read more

It's been maybe 2 years or more since we ordered food from here. Had a great experience, food was great. Chicken parmigian hero was OK, but the pizza was great. Nice crisp, slightly chewy crust. Nicely balanced sauce. Good amount of cheese. The muscles in red sauce were the best I've had in a while. I find the medium sized mussels are the perfect size for flavor and a tinge of sweetness. ( better than those big greenish ones that can be a bit fishy). The red sauce served with it was "on the money". AND there was a good amount of them, Plenty for 2 people. Lastly, one item we always get and has consistently been a great choice is the La Bella Special Salad made up of mixed greens, fresh mozzarella, walnuts, sweet peppers, green apple, craisins, red onions, tomato olives & cucumbers. Small parking lot in front. Prices fair too. read more

not good food taste like they get it from costco not quality at all .nothing like the old owners pizza .. truly upsetting

The staff was not anything too helpful. The soup does not look or taste like any fajoli I have ever tasted. It was more like navy bean soup. The chicken parm was uneventful. The main girl was too busy talking with her friends to care about any of the customers that came in. I was sadly disappointed. read more

I decided to get lunch at this restaurant. I ordered a margarita pizza and shrimp parm sandwich. When I arrived I parked in the lot. I walked in, and the lady took my name. Love their pizzas. Very friendly staff. For veggies i highly recommend egg plant parm pizza. It's just delicious. Otherwise I also liked the barbeque chik pizza. Chicken wrap is just amazinggggg .. sumptuous quantity ... lots of tables inside to sit/eat ... Their bread is so soft and well made. Overall a good place to have a quick bite. read more

Garlic knots raw in the middle. Just threw out the three I ordered. With the bland marinara sauce. I know prices went up all over. Totally understand but to charge from $4.00 to $8.00 (grilled chicken in salad) is pretty steep. To top it off to not have prices reflected in menu is a scam. read more

Take this as an opportunity to do better. The food quality has significantly went down. More importantly, the service is not there anymore. The guy serving me had the worst attitude, unprovoked. Just clearly didn't care about anything especially his customer service. This visit made me never want to come back. You guys are business employing people. I can assure you if you don't get your act together, there's gonna be people unemployed soon take some pride in your location La Bella Roma has been serving the people at Paramus for years. I ordered pizza I saw a giant bubble in one of the slices the chef said "what's wrong with it" I told him and he responds to me "if you don't like it don't take it get your money back" I said I've seen a pizza without any bubbles" he proceeded to act like a jerk and being extremely rude. I only said one thing and he went off on me for no reason. I wasn't complaining about it just stated what I saw. He commented I never had fresh pizza like this before; and I felt racially attacked. This place is number one for worst service at a pizzeria in the area read more

Delicious food and very friendly staff. Every time I call to order they always thank me for my order.

Should have reviewed this years ago! This is an excellent pizzeria. Creative slices, expertly crafted. Nice for sit down as well as take out/delivery. Their specialty slices are amazing, plain slices are excellent, and I just had a great deep dish slice. If I lived closer, this would be the only pizza for me. read more

We were out shopping and looking for a quick meal. For once, Siri picked a good spot. It's not a big place. The variety and taste are big. Tried a suppli, Arborio rice with meat and cheese inside, marinara on the side; it was the REAL thing! My friends tried a slice with meatball slices and a slice with green peppers. No agita later. The menu is quite extensive. read more

Huge thank you to La Bella Roma for remaining open! They are doing a phenomenal job during this time of social distancing. I placed my order by phone and picked up in person. One guest at a time is allowed in the building to pick up their food. All employees were wearing masks and there is a sign on the door asking all customers to wear a face mask. Easy and safe experience! Thank you!! read more

Food was great. It's your friendly neighborhood Italian restaurant and very typical east coast New Jersey experience, but I loved it. It's a very relax vibe where you can enjoy your meal with friends and family. Be warned, portion sizes are pretty big and you will probably have leftovers. I would definitely eat here again if given the opportunity. read more

No flavor. Needs seasoning. Chicken Cesar wrap didn't even taste like it had dressing. No salt or pepper. Chicken parm sub bland. Buffalo chicken slice. Dry sauce and chicken. Barely with cheese. Mozzarella sticks okay, cheese wasn't stringy or stretchy at all. Sauce good. read more

Maybe the worst pizza I have had in a long time. Certainly in Bergen County. Thick, chewy, bland and this was hot right out of the oven. And don't go expecting to pay what's listed on the menu. I loved this place as a high school student. It was a small walk away and had memorable pizza by the slice. When they renovated, the prices went up a but the taste was more or less as good. Well after those days, when I found myself passing through that side of town, I'd make an effort to stop by. Last winter, we ordered a grandma pie for takeout, it came back exceptionally hard and not pleasant to chew. Sometimes mistakes happen to the best pizzerias, so we called in to see if we could get a replacement. The woman on the phone checked with the manager or chef on how to proceed, and offered us a new pie if we bring the old one in. I guess they wanted to trust but verify, so I fished the pie out of the trash and we drove back. When we arrived, the woman working the counter was sympathic, but the chef overheard and came over. He emphatically exclaimed that he didn't believe it. We asked that he try folding a slice. When he did, and the slice snapped in half, making an audible crack. After a moment, in frustration and anger, he proclaimed that was how grandma pies are and that our next pie would be the same. The woman refunded us the cost, and we left. read more

Be careful with delivery. Ordered via slice app and part of order was missing. Restaurant refused to acknowledge problem until provided with doorbell cam footage of order missing items. Had I not had that they had no interest in refunding or bringing the missing item. Mistakes happen but there is no excuse for not trying to make things right or intentionally trying to defraud a customer. read more

Always loved the food from La Bella Roma but since it changed hands errors were made and last night when I called to order the guy on the phone was beyond rude when I was explaining the situation I had on the ap Slice. It says they don't deliver to our area. I was confused, so I called to order straight from La Bella Roma and he was on such a hurry that forgot to even ask my address or for my card! I said you know what? I don't need this. Thank you. I hung up. Ordered from Original Pizza in Washington twp! read more

We're long time customers of La Bella Roma. Always enjoyed the food and service from Vito and Nick. The new owners? I ordered a chicken parm dinner for pickup. The on line menu said it was $18.50. I was charged $23.50. I called and questioned the pricing. The woman on the phone said the new owners raised some prices. When I mentioned the on line menu price, I was told "I guess they didn't get to it yet." I have not been back. read more

I grew up going to La Bella Roma, the pizza kept us coming back from Morris County and my sister's family in Massachusetts coming back whenever they were here. Tonight we stopped after being in the city and what a business disaster! The pizza seemed different, the sauce seemed the same but the personnel? A lot of nothing going on, super slow, totally no idea of what was happening had to ask for cutlery, plates toilet paper! 3x!!! Watched them on the phone, give out the wrong stuff in orders and generally be rude/aimless. Just found out the family sold, super sad as they were an amazing legacy in Paramus. It was like coming home, now?? A bunch of aimless kids who do not want to be there. Super sad. OWNERS, you bought the name, maybe the sauce, but you need to bring the spirit otherwise you'll be dead in the water. Thank you to the Fiorino Family for so many great years of food, camaraderie and community spirit. read more

We got the 2 pizza special and there were both delicious - shared with family. Then got the sausage and meatball dinner with pasta and that was really great. This was my first visit to LA Bella Roma Pizzeria. It was a Saturday at 12:30pm. Slice choices are limited to four selections. I settled on the chicken bacon ranch and the caprese. I had hoped the Bella House Special was available as a slice. Oh well. I enjoyed my meal while watching ESPN on the extra large television which isn't shown in some of the older pictures. The fairly big slices were good as one would expect with an emphasis on the chicken. I had also ordered the Roma Special Hero which I ate later at home. My first impression when walking to my car was that it was heavy. Everything about it was superb from the bread to the contents within. read more
