Very professional business as well as the service reps here. Very easy to deal with and amazing customer service. This is a one stop shop for all your automotive needs! They helped me out and took care of me for an inspection that I needed to do on my car, they also checked everything out and made sure all was good! read more

The smog service was quick and the custom service was great! I will definitely be coming back.

Came in for the first time, got an oil change. I didn't have an appointment, only waited about 30 mins. Very friendly staff, nice waiting area, lots of magazines, coffee, & a fridge with water. Close to home, I think I've found my new auto shop! read more

If I could more than 5 stars, I would. I have taken my cars here for many years - even in the Foothill Foreign Auto days. David and his staff are always honest and fair. Pricing for minor or major repairs are much lower than a Dealership. Highly recommended. read more

We moved to this area 3 months ago and have used Save On Auto Care several times. They are honest and have great service. I feel like I can always count on them to take care of my car. It's comforting to know you have someone you can call in an emergency. I highly recommend them. read more

I haven't needed their services in quite some time. However, today, I came in regarding my water pump, and I spoke with Paul. He took the to check under my hood to confirm my suspicions. Instead of just doing the work to charge me, he advised me that he thought my vehicle was still under warranty and to verify with the local Chevy deal. They "lost" a repair job, but strengthened their stellar reputation. It is so difficult to find a honest mechanic, but look no further then Save On Auto Care. read more

This morning I headed over to get a SMOG check for my son's vehicle he bought a year ago from this same place. I took it to the exact place because they sold us the car. They treated us so well during that transaction that we wanted to go back. I walked up to a friendly face in the office that took my information and keys and said it would be about 30 minutes. It was only about 15 minutes. Fast and friendly service. They also gave me a discount because they sold me the car. I am truly satisfied with their kindness and favor and I highly recommend them to anyone who has little faith in the automotive service world. I am truly blessed by them. Thank you! read more

This shop is amazing. I can't explain how Cindy is. She understood my situation and you wouldn't believe what they could have charged me but didn't. Then the owner really helped me out of a bad spot. The best auto repair shop by far that I've ever dealt with. But THE BEST thing about this shop is Cindy. She's professional, friendly, understanding and pleasant to deal with. read more

I have a 2007 Honda Accord, the guys at Save on Auto Care. Have helped to take care of my car over the years. With regular scheduled service I am well over 200,000 miles on my car and will be rolling into 300 soon. The honest, well priced service I receive gives me peace of mind as I make my commute everyday. Thanks for keeping my car on the road and me safe! read more

I have been bringing our 2008 Honda Accord here for many years and never cease to be amazed at how good their service is. Cindy is always upbeat and easy to work with. I highly recommend their shop for their excellent service and they stand behind their work 100%. They work on all imports and specialize in servicing Toyotas and Hondas. They will have all my business on my Camry too. read more

Honestly, I can't think of a better customer service experience to talk about than what I experienced at Save On Auto Care. Everything lines up at the shop, superb customer service from the ladies up front, knowledgable and honest mechanics, timely service, and affordable prices. It's obvious why they stay in business, they are customer oriented, kind, and competent. I had a stressful experience at the DMV where the DMV had lost my paper work including a break and lamp inspection certificate that I received form Save On Auto Care earlier this year. I called them, and the immediately mailed me a copy to Santa Barbara where I live, sadly though, the DMV did not accept my copy. So I came back on a trip to LA to get re-certified, after telling them my story, and them being on this journey with me, they extended me a discount out of the kindness of their heart. Now that to me is a business that cares about the community they serve. I highly recommend. Thank you Save On Auto Care. read more

I love Save On Auto Care! They have the BEST service - timely, reasonable prices, friendly service, and an overall an awesome experience every time we go there!! read more

Avoid. I trusted them because they were AAA approved but the car I bought needed $3,800 worth of repairs. I should have taken it to a different mechanic to have it looked at before I bought it but I was tired of car shopping and decided to trust these guys cuz they were AAA approved. My bad. Next time I won't try to buy an affordable car, I'll just go straight to CarMax and buy a car that does not need repairs. read more

Took my car here for a diagnostic check because my traction control light and my check engine light came on and was very pleased with this shop they found that my camshaft sensor went out also my wiring harness was shorting out the staff was very helpful and nice I will be returning for all my automotive repairs in the future read more

I wish I didn't even have to give them one star. Unfortunately this morning a AAA member was unable to unscrew my lug nuts and change my tire into my spare, so I was dispatch to this shop. I got a call from a female this morning stating they are going to charge me 25 dollars to remove EACH LUG NUT and remind you they're not stuck or broken. That is INSANE! I have never heard of that. With the name "SAVE ON AUTO CARE" you'd think they wouldn't charge this insane price. Luckily I found an amazing shop in chino called "Pacific Tire" off 13th at and chino Ave. their staff was amazing and was able to help me remove the tire and lug nuts with no fuss or problems. I was out of their shop in less than 10 mins and better yet, they charged me 5$. read more

Ryan has been our mechanic for several years and has done great work at a very fair price. He is honest and professional, and will take the time to explain what the problem is and what needs to be done. A breath of fresh air in a field of shenanigans. Give him a try. You won't be disappointed. read more

I have been taking my cars to Save on Auto Care and its predecessor , Foothill Foreign, for over 10 years. I can't recommend them highly enough. They are honest, reasonable, and thorough. My car is always ready when promised. They never recommend unnecessary repairs. Angie at the front desk is super knowledgeable. They have a AAA discount, as well as other occasional discounts. Five stars. read more

I took my 2007 BMW 335i here when the car over heated. Ryan was more than helpful, they were able to determine the problem quick and had it fixed within a couple of days. Ryan was able to save me a ton of money versus taking it to a dealership, or any other place. I will definitely be taking my car back here and recommending others. Can't find a better place! read more

So I got my oil changed and a smog check. And they also checked my brakes for me, cause good year told me that they were bad but I just got new ones months ago. These guys were super nice, broke it down to me what needed to be done and my brakes are still good. read more

These guys are amazing! I have brought two of my vehicles here now and I couldn't be happier with their customer service and pricing. I highly recommend their services. read more

I went in for a smog. They are so busy, appointments are recommended. This is a good sign for a mechanic. They were quick, polite, and fairly priced. I'm glad I found a home shop for my auto needs. I used to use Aamco until ownership change, so I'm happy to find another family run, professional shop. read more

I came in asking them to find my electrical issue. They spent an entire day diagnosing my car, to tell me I had an electrical issue. First $100+ wasted. They told me to diagnose the electrical issue would require another diagnosis payment. There's another $100+. At the end of the next day they had hillbilly rigged an electrical situation and tried to charge me $65 for something I could've done in my driveway. They did not fix the problem or identify the problem. They did a backyard fix so it ran and did the bare minimum to take my money and see me out the door. I told them to remove their hillbilly wiring because I wasn't going to pay for it, and they left it in for no charge. I asked if it would kill the battery. They said no. It killed the battery. Again, they didn't care about solving the problem...They just wanted the bare minimum for me to leave and then to take my money. They were all nice people, but if you want your car fixed right I'd find somewhere else. If you want a smile and a job half done, that's your place. read more

I came here for the first time today for a oil change and brake service. When I mentioned that they priced their brake service higher than the special offered at the dealership, they gave me a very generous discount. They offered cold water, soda, or coffee at the front and the woman who works in the front was very helpful and professional. I appreciate the service and I will definitely be returning. read more

This is the best auto repair shop around! The folks at Save On do such great work, the price is amazing, they are honest and trustworthy, plus they are just genuinely nice people. I won't trust my car with anyone else. read more

Beware! This is not the same shop I knew. I went here before when it was called Foothill Foreign Auto run by a very respectable elderly couple but I heard they retired and sold to a new owner. So here's the story. My father-in-law's 2008 Audi had a 2181 check engine code = cooling system. I know because I scanned it and I also had it scanned by an independent auto shop. I had the car scanned because I saw it on TV how unscrupulous shops charge customers who are not car savvy and this would tell me if the shop is honest and I wanted to help my father-in-law because he sick, retired and living on Social Security, So why did I recommend my father-in-law to try this shop? Because they had a AAA sign. Too bad the AAA sign doesn't mean anything. So to cut the story short, they did a "test" , changed parts not related to the real problem, they just killed the check engine light on the p 2181 and charged more than 500 dollars -WITHOUT FIXING THE REAL PROBLEM. (The former owners would never do this) . This is ELDER ABUSE. So I went to the owner, David and confronted him and told him that I had the car scanned beforehand and they did not fix the real problem. I know he replaced some parts in order to make money but those were unrelated to the real problem, so I asked him to at least give my in-law some refund or I will report what he did to the Better Business Bureau, AAA and to the City. He said I can report and he will never refund anything. This is a clear case of elder abuse and I will advise everyone to be extremely cautious before doing business with this company. AAA should know that its reputation is being tarnished (looked at a similar review by another customer) by the unfair practice of this shop. I'm not saying don't go here, but don't tell me I didn't warn you. read more

I needed to find a shop for some work on a '98 Jetta, and came across this place on my search. I am so happy that I found them! Called late Friday afternoon to ask about replacing the belts and spoke to Ryan. Talk about great customer service! He was very helpful over the phone and said I could bring it in Saturday and he'd make sure they'd have time to look at it. I know for a fact that the car needs a lot of work, but when I went to pick up the car after the belt replacement and oil change, I didn't feel pressured to have everything done right then and there. I can tell you right now that when I'm able to get started on the list of repairs (which I already knew needed to be done) I'm going to be coming back. read more

I needed a smog check (registration was expiring in 2 days) Then my check engine light came on. AAA recommended 3 places for the smog check - I called at 8 am and Save On was the only one that answered the phone. The receptionist sensed the urgency of getting the check engine light resolved (with the least amount of repairs) so it would pass the smog check and we could review the situation after smog done. Instead of telling me why they probably would NOT be able to do this in time, she gave several options on how we could achieve our goal. I sincerely felt that they CARED and they wanted to help as opposed to trying to make money. I will definitely be taking the car back to complete the remainder of the work and I look forward to knowing they are just a call away! read more

This place was great my daughters car had alot of issues and they were great . We had recently purchased the car, the previous owner had changed the motor out but there were still things that kept going wrong. Save on Auto ran the vin # on engine and found out that the engine in car was for a different make car and that's part of why so many issues because we kept buying parts for our Camary when motor in it is a Scion TC. Save on Auto made alot of repairs and helped us out by even doing extra and as courtesy and only charging us for parts. Angie was great to work with keeping me posted on the status of my car the whole time. I will definitely be a return customer. read more

Kind and friendly. They provide drinks and snacks while you waitGood and inexpensive services. The name says it all.

Today, I'm sharing what saying "YES!" can look like in life and, I'm giving a BIG Shout Out to all of the folks @ AUTO CLUB (in Ontario), SAVE ON AUTO CARE (in Upland), and HERTZ RENT-A-CAR (in Montclair). WHY? Each company is a fabulous example of businesses that are run by people who CARE! They put their hearts into their work and focus on SERVICE to their customers. When my clutch stopped working in the middle of traffic, I took a deep breath and said 'YES!" I can. Then, I manipulated my car to coast 3 blocks to my destination. I could have been really upset (especially when I found out I had missed my appointment - the reason for driving out to Ontario in the first place). Instead, here's what happened next by taking a deep BREATH and saying YES!" ... 1. Auto Club sent a tow truck driver who arrived in 15 minutes (on a Friday afternoon). Then, they made car rental arrangements for me. 2. The tow truck driver recommended SAVE ON AUTO CARE because they charge lower fees. 3. SAVE ON AUTO CARE took care of EVERY detail, added extra parts and services after my price was quoted so they could make sure the clutch work was done to their very high standards, then charged me only the ORIGINAL QUOTED PRICE, The work took 3 days longer than originally quoted. So, they also PAID MY CAR RENTAL FEE for 3 days (a savings of almost $500) 4. I arrived at the HERTZ rental office 2 minutes before closing. As I was their last customer, the store manager drove me back to my car himself and helped me get all of the bags out of the trunk before saying, "Thank You!" and leaving. I am so grateful for God's Love expressing in my life and perfectly unfolding in all of the details! MillionaireMindMastery.com read more

contacted the business regarding a smog test, and an appointment was set up immediately. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with respect and professionalism. The young lady at the front desk was professional and very friendly, within 30 minutes I was out the door. The entire visit from the moment I arrived to the moment I was handed my keys and was informed all was completed went so very smoothly, it was great and I will definitely entrust my vehicle to them again. read more
