I should have checked Yelp for reviews first. Called to have my stump ground and debris removed, so I don't have the conversation in writing. Scheduler only mentioned stump grind to their team so debris was not scheduled to clear. Crew came in today to do the job, all debris was left. Emailed staff for removal and Rick stated they would need to come another day and for another surcharge of the stump grind (Service was $454 and the quote to remove debris was an added $454 for a separate day total $908). Stump roots were left extruding 4inches above curb in some areas and a ton of root left over in general above the sidewalk level. Wouldn't have been a problem, but I have to either hire another company to get rid of roots right off the stump or buy a chainsaw which pretty much defeats the purpose of hiring someone. I would give zero stars if possible, Do not use this company!!!! They damaged my decking by dragging tree branches across it plus made it filthy and refuse to take responsibility after stringing me along for months with their obnoxious third party insurance response company. Called around Portland a couple of days ago trying to find someone to get some trees/shrubs trimmed or removed. I called ten places and for the most part all I got was answering machines or services. Only two places actually answered their phones and Integrity was one of them. The other place was going to get someone out to see me in a couple of days, maybe. Integrity had an estimator out the next day. The gentleman who showed up (Phil) was professional and answered all my questions. He had my estimate back to me the same day. I was all ready to send in a down payment and book them when they called me two days later (today) and said they had a crew nearby and would it be okay if they came today. I was impressed and quite happy to have them come today and less than an hour later they were on the job. They worked quickly, and cleanly and my yard now looks about ten thousand percent better than it did two days ago. Integrity, your crew was above and beyond so I bought them lunch, hope thats okay. There is still a bit of work for me to do, but these guys saved me a ton of work that would haven taken me many weeks if not months. I cannot recommend this company enough. We had three fir trees removed a few years ago that had died from bark beetle infestation. They did a great job cutting the trees down without damaging anything else on our property. (the trees were about 40 ft tall and about 12 ft from out house). My only complaint was waiting for the guy to come and grind out the stumps but they did not have control over his schedule. (We were scheduling a contractor to come out and build a shed where the trees had been.) We had them back a year later to take out a 4th tree and trim up two others that we were keeping. Their prices were fair and their service was great. We are about to call them again for an assessment of our fir tree in the front yard. read more

Phil came out, gave us an estimate which we accepted and the 4 young men they sent to clean up the mess were here within 24 hours. From the first look and estimate through the inspection prior to starting work, the actual work, and the final walk through; they were very mature and professional, genuinely knowledgeable, experienced, methodical, timely, and sensitive to my concerns about not damaging my property, keeping the work affects on my property, and protecting the surrounding forest buffer. This company did a chip drop that I paid for at my house. I specified in two places on my request that I could not accept moldy chips. What did I get? A few yards of usable chips with lots of moldy sections and 4-5 yards of sticks and leaves. Totally unusable, made a ton of extra work for me. I called twice and both times they said they'd come out and pick up the drop, but it's been a week and nothing has happened. Not a good business practice. read more

Had them do trimming last year. They butchered three of my bushes after being told how I didn't want them trimmed. They reduced my bill a fraction. This year I asked for another bid for vertically the same wore an received a quote of more than double, apparently to make up for last years screw up. They said they could adjust the quote by 10%. Still nearly a 100% increase for questionable work. Stay away from these people. read more

We used Integrity Tree Care last year at our house. Although they didn't trim as much as we thought they were going, to they did a good job for the most part. When a tree fell in our daughters yard, blocking her back door, we called them to take care of it. They came the next day. We were told we would get a quote by two different e-mails we gave them and that they could fit us in within the week, since it was an emergency situation. It is now over a week, no word from them, and a terrific tree company took care of the fallen tree and three others immediately. We won't be calling Integrity Tree Care ever again! read more

INTEGRITY TREE CARE & BYE-BYE BIRCHIES I discovered Integrity Tree Care early one morning while a neighbor and I were taking a power walk through the neighborhood. Suddenly, the sight of an enormous crane moving toward the topmost portion of a skyscraping pine tree and a guy so high up and enmeshed in its branches that he was scarcely visible, stopped us in our tracks. Mesmerized, we watched a crew of 4 or 5 men work together as an efficient, in sync team cut, maneuver over the rooftop, haul, chip, and clean the entire tree away. I had two dying birch trees in front of my house. These were definitely the guys I wanted to remove them. Making an appointment was easy. Their appointment setter, Nicole, is personable and accommodating. I arranged for a free estimate within a few days. John, the owner of the company came out. He was prompt, polite, and informative. I was advised thoroughly of what the process for my job should look like. A verbal bid was followed up by a written one via email. It happened exactly like that. A client's acceptance signature is required on the bid before scheduling work. It can be accomplished in any of several easy ways. I made an appointment. The crew from Integrity Tree Care arrived right on time the morning of my appointment to take out the 2 birch trees growing just feet from my front windows. Overall, they did a great job! The teamwork was a beautiful thing to watch. The debris clean-up afterward was as thorough as it could get. Besides being a fun (and funny) bunch, the crew was very professional, especially in light of how they handled the 2 glitches that arose during the process of removing the trees. The first one happened right off the bat when one of the guys accidentally stepped on, knocked over, and dismantled one of my sprinklers. I was immediately informed of the mishap and assured that they would pay to replace the sprinkler. However, that wasn't necessary, since we already had the required replacement parts on hand and we were able to fix it ourselves in 5 minutes. Their honesty, however, was refreshing! The second event occurred when the guy in the basket was cutting the trunk of the first birch in to mini logs size sections for removal. Instead of throwing them onto the expanse of lawn just a bit to his right, he began dropping them pretty much straight downward into a small dirt planter area where the shrubbery in front of my front windows is located. On one of his first drops, the log came down on top of my Piraeus, taking out half of its width. One of the other guys ran over and snipped off the damaged branches (artistically, though), and assured me that the plant was still alive and that they would gladly replace the shrub if I wanted them to. Later I got an effusive apology from the basket man (who subsequently took a lot more care as to where he threw the logs). To me, the most important thing is that the company's policy is to own their accidents/errors and to make things right for the customer. The guys worked well as a team and got the cutting, the clearing, the chipping, and the cleaning done in just a few hours. I asked that they arrange for the larger cut logs to be collected, which they did (free). Stump grinding was available, if requested, at additional cost. Integrity Tree Care has great reviews and high ratings. I add mine to that record. They deserve it. read more

Our neighbors recommended Integrity. The guys came out to cut two of our trees. One a large old maple and the other a doug fir right up against our house. Unfortunately we didn't review the trimming and were hoping for a little more on the fir so we wouldn't have to trim in another year or two. They were kind enough to come back free of charge and take more up on the fir. Did a great job. Will use again. read more
