We had 3 estimates on a dead cedar removal, and a large maple thin and prune. The crew arrived earlier then promised well prepared. With very little conversation they got right to work.the job only took about 5 hrs. They completed just after lunch. Completely cleaned up almost like they had not been here. An amazing well run organization, well maintained equipment to take on any task associated with tree removal all the way through stump grinding. Jose, owner, paid me a visit shortly after I entered a request with Angi, he shows up and within an hour, I get a good estimate (other companies took 2-5 days to send me an estimate) and an hour later he asked if I could review the estimate and to begin the project since Portland was iced in. I had 4 different crews for various aspects of the project, each team was well coordinated, communicated within the team and with me as the customer. They were safe, efficient, treated my property like their own, avoiding any further damage to an already huge mess of tree due to the January 2024 winter storm around Woodland, WA. Due to the multiple aspects of the project, multiple tree removal, his estimate was half as much as other companies. I had a sick pine tree in my backyard that sloped downhill. The tree was about 110 feet tall. I obtained 3 bids for the removal. This tree service was the middle bid. I had contacted other neighbors who have used this service and they recommended it. The crew of 4 came at 9:00 am and was finished at 5:00 pm. They were professional and courteous. We had the cut up tree left in the backyard for a family member who burns wood to heat their home. I wood highly recommend this company! read more

Well a year later, I decided to skip hiring anyone and trim my Lelands myself. After topping the trees, I climbed each tree to retrieve the branches I had cut that didn't fall to the ground. Upon further inspection, I found at least 3, 8 foot tops left behind from PA's Tree Service that WERE NOT REMOVED LAST YEAR!!!!! INCREDIBLE!! ALSO, I noticed sunshine shining down through the trees. Upon inspection, the foliage is completely dead inside most of the trees! Googling the issue, it appears this is from Blight, which causes the needles to die from the bottom up and inside to the outside. One of the main causes is from infected tools used to trim the trees! I have not noticed this issue until this year. A year later after PA's did their damage!!!! PA's will never get my business ever again!!!!! I suggest calling someone else. They are not a reputable business!!! Do shoddy work and always ask for more money even after a quote is signed. They don't care about their customers!!!! Anyway, I would not recommend Pa's. I wished I had went with the previous company I had hired for the Lelands, Frontier Tree Service in Vancouver. Check them out! read more

PA's did an outstanding job removing 5 very large trees (...40-60 feet high and bushy) on my property and trimming back several trees that had limbs overhanging onto the roof of my house.  They had a full selection of modern equipment like trucks, wood chipper, cherry picker boom lift, saws, ladders, ropes, axes to get any job done quickly and  professionally. The crew size ranged from 3 to 5 people and all were very skilled and hard working.   They hauled off all tree debris and cleaned up everything perfectly when done. Their price was very competitive. I hired them to remove a tree and stump grind. They had the best quote. My husband really liked Jose. The team that came to cut the tree was great! They were professional and fast. They protected my retaining wall from any damage and they cleaned up well. They were very understanding with me watching and helped me by carrying the pieces I wanted to keep to where I wanted to place them. (I was very sad about the tree but I can't have an enormous tree leaning significantly toward and over my house.) Stump grinding went equally as well and was fast. Done with 45 minutes even. Pa's came out twice to do the job and both times left without doing anything. Office staff tells me they underbid the job because they didn't "look they closely". I'd love to be able to rate them at 4.5 stars but they were certainly better than a 4, so I've chosen 5. We needed some tree work done for safety purposes at a site which is distant from our home. We got 3 different bids and Pa's Tree Service seemed to provide the most comprehensive service for the price. In addition they were on time to their appointment for the bidding process unlike one of the services from which we requested a quote. They came up with a plan that met our needs and then worked with us to find some ways to help reduce the costs. The day of service was changed once due to an accident at or on the way to a different work site, but they kept us informed about it. We weren't at the work site during the actually tree work since it is distant from our home, and when we went to examine the site after the work was finished we discovered something that we felt needed to be changed. After a brief discussion with Pa's Tree Services they agreed and returned when they were able to make the change at no charge to us. We had Pa's remove several cedar trees that had branches on only one side of their trunks, that surely were going to be a problem in years to come as they grew bigger and the branches became heavier. They also did a very nice job of trimming up the two cedars adjacent to our driveway, where the lower branches had become a problem rubbing the cars as we drove in. Their crew did a fantastic job of cleaning up and chipping all of the debris, and even picked up, ground and disposed of several other pieces of wood lying on the ground. They offered but didn't do it until asking my wife it was ok. They returned after things dried out and did a fantastic job grinding the cedar stumps as well as a dozen large fir stumps in the front of our property. We are very happy with the price we paid for the work as well as their customer service. Their people were very respectful. We will hire them again! I hired Pa's to remove some brush and a tree from our property. The night before the job was scheduled to begin I received frantic texts from an employee asking me to reschedule my appointment due to a recent wind storm. He touted the countless people with roof damage from said storm and how awful their lives would be once the rain began. In business terms he saw a fat influx of cash from emergency tree work, which made my job seem like chump change. I was unable to reschedule. Because of this I endured many insults from the employee of Pa's. Do not hire this company. They are exceedingly unprofessional, rude and classless. read more

They were here a couple of hours thinned my two trees and reshaped them as well as shaped a large shrub on the side of my house. They took their time to do a great job.
