On our recent visit to Santa Monica , my daughter insisted our trip would be incomplete without a trip to this location of Frankie's and happily agreed to the 42 minute walk to the store from our hotel. This location did not disappoint. While small, it's stocked with trendy, on point clothes and accessories that my 11 year old adores. I tend to only buy her clothes here for very special occasions ( e.g. her birthday ) due to the higher price point for kid's clothes but she saved up her allowance and on her own purchased an adorable royal blue tank and bright green shorts. I loved checking out all the special occasion dresses at Frankie's ( and loved they were all out on display unlike at the Chicago store where you need an appointment for viewing most of the dresses). Frankie's is definitely the place to go when I need a special occasion dress. The people working at the store were friendly, helpful and not overly pushy - which I very much appreciated. Great store for tweens and young teens. Highly recommend.

Parking was actually easy, and they do one hour free with validation, which was nice. There was a security guard at the door who opened it and welcomed me in. At first I was honestly a little intimidated walking in, but that quickly went away. A guy named Liam helped me out he introduced himself and was really friendly. I told him it was my first time and that I wasn't super familiar with how everything worked, and he explained things in a really easy, non-pushy way. They have a good mix of stuff, clothes, handbags, jewelry, sunglasses, shoes and wallets. The first thing that caught my eye was a Prada bag (I don't own anything Prada so I was kind of excited lol). I tried it on and kept browsing. I also saw some really nice Chanel bags, but definitely out of my price range right now. I talked to another girl working there too and got her opinion on a bag I was thinking about, and she was really helpful as well. Everyone there was just super chill, no pressure, no hovering, which I appreciated. I did end up buying something. I wouldn't say it was a crazy deal, but it felt like a fair price and something nice to add to my collection. Liam also showed me how their app works and said they can bring items from online into the store if you want to see them in person, which is actually really helpful. I've been browsing the app daily seeing if anything catches my eye. :) I personally had a good experience for my first time going in. I typically shop directly from the designer boutiques or department stores but I was trying to be more eco friendly. You have to be buzzed in to enter the store. The store is tiny. They have shoes, bags, accessories and clothing. I walked around to see if there was anything I liked that I could purchase or exchange my items with. I didn't see anything. The person who processed my return was very friendly and quick. Before I left, I asked to see one of the purses behind the glass case. The staff member instructed me to wait by the case and that they would be right over to open the case. I went to the front of the store and stood by the case. I noticed that the person who let me into the store appeared again this time only mere feet from me, standing in the middle of the store, watching me. He made eye contact with me, it was clear he stood there to watch me wait? I have never been profiled before so that was a first. It was unsettling and very off putting. It would be different if he had been standing there the whole time if he was security or something. But he was chatting away with one of the other employees while I was getting helped. Anyway, the person helping me finally came and showed me the bag. I felt mortified that I was being watched so I quickly looked at the bag and decided to leave. I don't think I will ever visit this store ever again. What an awful feeling to feel when you are just trying to shop. I've seen many reviews online about the company as a whole having issues with fake goods. Just be mindful when you shop here or with them online. I ordered a Fucking Fabulous Eau de Parfum Set, marked as a gift, and intentionally did not open the box upon delivery because I wanted to keep the factory packaging intact for Christmas. Since we are traveling for the holidays, we decided to exchange gifts earlier -- and only then discovered that the contents did not match expectations and the presentation was completely disappointing. This was meant to be a special, thoughtful gift, and unfortunately the experience turned into a very upsetting one. Opening the box together should have been a joyful moment, but instead it caused real frustration and sadness. I understand mistakes can happen, and your support team has already confirmed that a refund will be issued, which I appreciate. However, I feel it is important to share how disappointing this situation was. When purchasing a luxury brand gift, especially at this price point, you trust the brand completely -- particularly when the item is intended as a present and marked as such. I did everything a customer reasonably could: ordered in advance, did not open the package, trusted the brand. Sadly, that trust was not justified in this case.
