The final straw was when I received an estimate of $3600 plus $200 for diagnostic to fix secondary air injectors on my 2008 Toyota Tundra (named Semper Fi after my late father-in-law). After checking Mitchell's excellent reviews, I took a chance with their $135 diagnostic exam. Two days later, it was only a minor repair from a squirrel or rodent chewing through the wires! Original estimate was $450. Final estimate turned into $3400. It turned out I had a broken rear leaf spring. It took 2 months to get my car back. If you want a garage that rarely answers the phone or does not return phone calls, even before I ever brought my car in, than this would be the place to take your car. Grant it that it took 3 weeks for my part to get in, but they had no reason to work on my car for 5 weeks. I was berated by the owner for calling all the time and told, "it's not going to get the car fixed any quicker by constantly calling us. It turns out they only use cell phones to track your phone calls coming in and just ignore customers that have their cars in the shop. When I took my corvette into the show, they located a transmission oil leak in one of the lines close to the transmission intercooler. But the leak is so slow that it doesn't even drip from the car at all. So I will not worry about it until it actually starts to show some leakage on the garage floor. So I will not waste money on fixing this $800 repair. They also sent me an email to replace the front spring after they already took it apart and never fixed it. And they did not raise the front end enough and neither did they make it level like I asked for it. So they want me to fix things that don't need to be fixed, and they took 2 months to do a half ass job on what I already asked to be fixed. Never again will I take my car to those idiots I did not even respond to their email, they are not worth my time to even do that
