I stopped by Savage Pizza during the Little Five Points festival and, for some reason, decided to skip the pizza and go with a chicken calzone. The vibe inside was super chill and positive, even with how packed it was. Because of the crowd, there was a bit of a wait for the calzone, which was expected. It turned out pretty good, but after seeing and smelling all the pizzas coming out, I kind of wished I had gone that route instead. Next time, I'm definitely sticking with the pizza. read more

This pizza place was great everything I ordered was top notch! The service was great and didn't wait long for my food. The atmosphere was different and incredible! The comic book/movie theme was perfect. I have to come back and try more items on the menu! The Alons midnight cake is a must have! read more

Disappointing Customer Service The pizza was excellent--great flavor and honestly the best part of my experience. Unfortunately, I probably won't be returning to the Little Five Points location. The customer service was extremely disappointing. What should have been a simple interaction was made unnecessarily unpleasant by the lack the willingness to help. It's especially unfortunate a business puts effort into making great food, only to have a customer-facing employee potentially undermine hard work. One person's attitude can absolutely affect whether a customer decides to come back. read more

BEST CALZONE EVER!!! The lady at the front desk was super nice, I asked what a calzone was and she went out her way and showed me a picture of it! The music in the background was a nice add on to the delicious food. Marvin gaye,Al green, Sade and many more! 10/10 everything!! read more

The pizza was top tier or bussin. The breadsticks were amazingly light and full of flavor. They were smothered in Parmesan cheese and served with a massive bowl of marinara to dip them in. I wish we had one of these in Nashville. read more

Wellllll.. I am a Chicago pizza snob. So I was very leery about trying some george pizza... Much to my surprise... It was eaten so fast I forgot to take the photo ‍. OUR SERVER KARECE WAS SPECTACULAR.. The Caesar salad is old school made with anchovy dressing, not overdress... Just lovely and DELISH. This is my sister's favorite pizza place in her area . Shout Out: Ian Stopped for a quick lunch before hitting the road. I had the Southern Que and the Cheesecake. Great homemade pizza. Thin Crust with an great flavor, All of the toppings were fresh, not too greasy and overall and enjoyable experice. If you like a notably hardy pizza, then atleast what I had isn't for you. Every employee Iet was great and very responsive. The server actually suggested jalapenos for the pizza I ordered and it changed the game. Neat aesthetic. Done well enough that of it's your style you'll love it. Whole also not being ridiculous or overwhelming if it's not your style. Definitely coming back. read more

Pizza, personality, and a whole lotta pow! I ordered the small White on White--perfect size for one and full of flavor. My daughter got a small cheese with black olives, and we both ate every bite. So good! We loved being able to add Parmesan, oregano, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes right from the table. The dining room is small and a bit loud, but the comic book decor, local art, and superhero figures make it a fun place to hang out. There's also outdoor seating if you want it quieter. Order at the counter, grab your number, and they bring the food to your table. Easy, delicious, and worth the stop! read more

Savage Pizza is such a cool pizza spot with on brand decor. I got the mai pai for about $20 with spicy red pepper sauce, Canadian bacon, green peppers, red onions, pineapple, banana peppers, mozzarella and parmesan. I don't think I was a fan of the flavor combo, it didn't mesh well together. Service was quick and friendly, they brought my pizza to my booth. There's parking in the front and back. read more

Once again going for the local places. Came in for lunch. No line! The lady, taking my order was very friendly. Cool ambience in the place really know when there yet so plenty of places to sit. Prices were good. Had a small meat lovers pizza for a little over $10. Pizza with thin crust crust was very good. The amount of ingredients were very good flavor was good. I very much enjoyed it. This place is super nostalgic. The prices are fair, and the pizza tastes like elevated cafeteria pizza ( kind of in a good way? ). We came in around an hour before closing so service was a little weird, rightfully so. It made my boyfriend super sick though. read more

Great pizza. Service -meh. Shortly after writing my first review I returned. The counter person ( wearing a skirt/ dress ) ignored me. I couldn't tell if they were male or female. They answered the phone after I entered and store and came to the counter. Hung up the phone and started doing something else. If I had not already paid online I would have left. I had to wait until someone came from the kitchen to give me my order. I won't return. read more

Place is a little cramped but comic book fans will be in heaven. Really cool place. Ordered a white on white and the southern que. The white and white created a pocket of cheese under a blanket of crispy dough. The southern que was also good but kind of too much onion. But the crust was also good and crispy so it made up for it. The server was alright didn't really tell us any specials or anything. Overall this is one of the best pizza places in Atlanta. read more

The veggie lasagne is AWESOME! And the pizza is great, too. Good drinks, fun atmosphere, good service and friendly staff.

I've had this place saved for a while now, I've seen nothing but great things, but just never got around to going. So when walking to another store in the area, when I saw it I said I have to go. Wait for it, the pizza was...drumroll please..SAVAGE! For a small it was around $10.99, it really depends on the pizza. I think the most was $13 or so. Four big slices! Each bite better than the next. Sucked that they charged for sauce, but they were good and big portions too. The only downside about this place is that the two entrances lead to confusion when figuring out who is next to order. I think one guy got mad at me, but my guy I was sitting in line, I'm not trying to said just because. Anyways, great pizza, that's the focus. Go. Try. Review! Hopefully you will be satisfied as much as I was! read more

We were on the way to Atlanta for the Post Malone concert and I used this opportunity to go to The Vortex to have an amazing burger! HOWEVER, one of the people in our party was only 20 and you cannot be seated unless everyone is over 21. I was VERY disappointed I missed out. I went to The Vortex one time about 7 years ago and it was amazing. I'll be going back for sure. Anyhow....that's another review for another day. So we asked what else was around and the hostess suggested Savage Pizza since it was walking distance from The Vortex. You walk in and place your order right up front and then find a seat....or you can grab a menu, find a seat and go back to the front once you decide. The pizza was fantastic, we ordered the Buttafuoco but added some jalapenos and mushrooms. It was outstanding. The thing that really made the pizza was how well the pizza was cooked on the bottom. I don't like really doughy pizza and if that is your preference also, then this is place! Definitely recommend Savage Pizza if you're in the area and looking for pizza! read more

Pretty good pizza here! Real pepperoni, garlic red tomato sauce, crunchy onion. What else is there to ask? The chicken Cesar salad was decent but you can probably skip the breadsticks. This place looks cool. Lots of toys and graffiti. The over hang sign gives X-Men vibes, odd yes, but not out of place for little five points neighborhood. Next time I come I'll give one of their specialty pizzas a try. Two thumbs up for New York style pizza. read more

After shopping at little five ponts and always grabbing coffee i had a chance to stop by Savage pizza, I always see busy, so we tried for lunch. Not to bad, small pizza ordered the perfect size for 1 person sliced into 4 for $10 not bad also veggie lasagna i was more of a bigger fan!! Made just right, warm, the sauce was flavorful, noodles cooked well, slightly crisp on top served with a warm side of garlic bread , this single serving of lasagna is filling i ate half and the other half later!! There is seating outside, so maybe more could be used to ward off flies but comfortable, of course an arcade game and the bathroom is neatly decorated with comics , im a BIG fan of comics. The salad was sad alot more veggies could have been served on the salad, but i took home and used on a burger i cooked later Parking is free if you are visiting five points area, i believe you pay if you are walking around on weekends but please double check with the young men in blue tshirts!! Enjoy!! read more

After a day of exploring Lil 5 Points, I decided to grab some pizza from Savage Pizza. For a Saturday evening, the place was busy, but there were seats available both inside and out. Since it was hot, I opted to sit inside. Be aware that parking can be tricky and difficult to come by, so be prepared to pay for parking or find a spot nearby. I looked over the menu and decided to order a Medium 13"Pizza Buttafucco (Meat Lovers), which comes with 6 slices and is made with red tomato sauce, Italian sausage, seasoned ground beef, Canadian bacon, pepperoni, mozzarella, and parmesan ($17.99). I also got a fountain drink for $1.49. The wait for the pizza was about 10-15 minutes, and it came fresh out of the oven. The pizza was amazing. All the meats, from the Italian sausage to the Canadian bacon, were seasoned and cooked just right. The dough and crust were perfect--not too tough--making each slice very desirable and flavorful. The slices were big enough to make you full off a few: I thoroughly enjoyed my pizza and the comic/superhero aesthetic of the place, to the point where I could see myself coming back frequently. I suggest anyone who loves pizza and comics to try Savage Pizza. read more

Now, let me tell you about this great pizza place! I don't even like pizza due to the marinara sauce, but this spot has been different options. You can choose from as far as pizza, salad and subs. Was out and about and had a taste for pizza. Due to COVID-19 I wanted to call in my order because of the possibility of increased wait time. The young lads on the phone was pleasant and took my order with no problems. She mentioned that due to Covid-19 the restaurant was tacking on an automatic 20% to assist the previous employees that were laid off...hmmmmm okay. I was told the food would be ready in 20/25 min and we ended the call. The food came out within the timeframe given and I actually gave an additional tip because she brought it out to the car. So here comes the two-star rating: I get home and the bottom of the pizza is burnt; I mean it's black and overcooked. Also the skimmed on the toppings. I asked for spinach and garlic to be added and received two small strings of spinach and no garlic. Needless to say I will not be going back not recommending this establishment to anyone in the future. Btw, I called to complain about my order and was put on hold for over 7min. I hung up... read more

Unfortunately due to the greed of this restaurant what should have been a long time customer will instead be a first time visit and my last time visiting. On Friday night I took the suggestion of a coworker and visited for the first time. To my dismay what I found is a greedy restaurant. I've heard of restaurants charging a gratuity for delivering a customers food or because a customer sat down to eat inside the restaurant. But never in my years on the planet have I seen a restaurant be so greedy and charge a 20% gratuity just for a customer who is picking up their order. Message to the restaurant owner or manager if your reading this review: Stop robbing your customers wallets. If your not delivering food to a customers address or serving food to a customer who decides to sit down and eat inside your restaurant then you should not be charging a customer a 20% gratuity for just walking in to pick up their order. The pizza is good but I refuse to pay two times to have it. Don't like my wallet robbed and I will not return to your restaurant. This was my first time buying food from your restaurant and it will be my last time!! read more

Honestly we were out at Fernbank museum walking and not familiar with the area but GPS took us to this area. The first place we wanted to go to had a 21+ sign and police outside and yeah, my son is 22, but we were in a nature vibe and not sure what we'd be walking into behind that big V, so we saw this cool sign sign for savage pizza in the same strip center and thought it had a bit of a mellow mushroom vibe. You order when you walk in and they bring your food in boxes even if you're eating in, which is a bummer to nature as seen by the overflowing 33 gallon trash cans but aside from that. The service was great the staff was super friendly and the food came out fast. The breadsticks and cheesecake came at the same time as the pizza in a pile of boxes so they could improve the experience a bit but honestly, the food was good enough, I'm not mad. Sorry for not more pics. We were HUNGRY and it was super yummy. And the prices were reasonable . Canned beer and wine as well as canned and fountain sodas. No bar. read more

Worst sub ever. I chose the chicken sub over the meatball. Bad mistake. Unless the meatball sub sucks, also. There was VERY little chicken on the sub. And what was there were VERY small bits of processed chicken. I showed the sandwich to the sour pussed fellow who "greeted" me at the door and took my order. He looked at it and said, "there's a lot of chicken there." Funny how two people can look at the same thing and see it so differently. Another person I know had a miserable sub experience at this Savage, also. His sub was burned black. Between the sub and the sour pussed fellow, it was a really lousy experience that with iced tea and tip (don't know why I left one) cost me $16. Total bummer. read more
