POOR COMMUNICATION AND ONLY CARES ABOUT $$$, take your bike to a place that actually cares about fixing bikes, took 7 days for a diagnostic and I had to call him multiple times, he scammed me out of $500 to do nothing but plug in a computer and tell me about a problem I already gave him the codes and issues to, when going to pick up the bike he said "I'm putting it back together" and he didn't put my seat bolts back on so the seat so I can't put back on, there's grease and scratches on the gas tank, the battery was dead, and he added wires for my air suspension which I never asked for and he left exposed wires out, BAD BUSINESS AT SAVAGE CYCLES. I was happy leaving after my repairs but after close inspection once home I was not all that happy. I'm not a basher of retailers, vendors or service providers so I like to provide facts. So l will list the short comings. I needed new handle bars and cables due to an accident. I wanted a a popular brand for viclas but they suggested a bar which i liked and was told that they are manufactured for Savage Cycles. I asked to have the curve on the bars inward and since they manufacture the bars they said I could have them my way. Well on delivery the bars were not in the direction I requested and was told that due to the type of bar shape it could not be done. My thought was ok but you should have known this. They look great but not what I asked for. I requested to chrome my controls. Look great but the screws replaced were not chrome and some were stripped. Not noticeable so I let it go. I brought my own grips. On delivery my grips were not on bars, stating that my grips did not fit because they were custom bars. Was not informed of the of the charges or change could have been given this information at time of request that not all grips would fit. Or which type would fit. Timeline was 4 weeks not happy about that. After a few weeks of riding I decided to give it a look over. My fishtail pipes were loose. And not just lose missing exhaust clamps. And screws. I had to purchase new ones. Something pretty but factual I asked to replace the floor boards. I purchase and supplied them with the No problem, but they left the tags hanging. Easy to remove not needed for install or ride. Cost was quoted 2k I left spending over 3k. Not a good quote, customer service or service/repair. I believe they have the knowledge and ability to do great work but it was not my experience. read more

Work done from Feb 2022 to October 2022. If a picture says 1000 words, what does this say? How many times has this been done to someone? This is deadly I'd say. Check your work. I'm taking it to someone else to correct because every time I take it back to savage for something I found to be wrong or defective it takes a while to get back to me. My trust in this shop has dissipated. Fender problems, fork problems, air ride problems, paint problems. This was quite a learning experience. I would not recommend this shop in the least. read more

MAIN POINT: Harley Davidson Motorcycles ONLY Prompt answer on the first call, they were straight to the point and respectful. They answered a couple of my questions but unfortunately could not help because I do not own a Harley nor do I have one to get worked on. They seem very capable and unless they have more work than they can handle, I was curious why they could not do simple repairs on other bikes? But I do understand Harley's are the pinnacle of motorcycles in many peoples opinions. So i can see why they probably wouldn't be caught dead with a Honda or a Suzuki in their shop. read more

Main point of the review: They lied about the products they were selling and installing, and ended up charging $700+ more upon pick-up than was originally quoted over the phone and at drop-off. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. My husband went to get new handle bars for his 2017 Heritage, specifically looking for Gangster Style Ape Hangers with a chrome finish. He discussed the shape and look he was going for at length with the guy (I believe his name was Kevin), and ultimately decided on 18 inch Carlini Design bars. Over the phone we were quoted $2,200 for the bars, risers, longer cables, and all labor. While we felt this was a little high, the factor of time in having to do the work ourselves was the deciding factor in going with Savage Cycle. HUGE MISTAKE. After having the bike for over two weeks (it was raining and they claimed the shop flooded, so we cannot discount them for the time it took) we went to pick up the bike. At first look inside the shop everything seemed good, but on pick-up they told us it would not be the $2,200 price as quoted over the phone prior to dropping off and having the work done, but it was actually $2,940 due to the fact that they needed to replace riser bushings. At that point we were kind of in a hard position because the work is done and we are there to pick up when the new price is given, our options so we felt were to pay the new price or refuse and potentially not be able to take the bike home with us. Because it had been so long with the bike in the shop my husband ultimately decided paying the extra cost was the right choice. Once my husband pulled put onto the street to ride home he realized the clutch was slipping, not tightened properly and no adjustments were made at all. So he had to decide to make the ride home to adjust the clutch himself or turn back around and have the shop look at it. He decided to not take it back to the shop knowing it was an easy fix and he could slowly make his way home where he would fix the issue. Once home he began fixing the clutch issue, tightening the controls which were loose, and he noticed his decretive bandana was on the opposite side which it is typically tied. Upon removing the bandana to place it properly he notice a blemish on the bars next to the riser on the upward bend. This discovery lead my husband to begin a closer inspection of the bars. At this point he realized there was no Carlini Design tag, which authenticates all Carlini products. He then called Carlini Designs in Santa Ana to get clarification if all their bars are equipped with the Carlini tag and he was told "yes", and that there should also be a serial number located where the grips are secured, but it is unlikely he will find one if the tag is not on the bars. He then decided to remove the grips to be sure there was no serial number, which there was not, meaning that he had been given a different product than he paid for. After this discovery we contacted Savage Cycle to inquire about the authentication of the bars being official Carlini Design, where were were first told "yes, those bars on your bike are Carlini", then once confronted about the missing serial number and tag the confession was made that they make the bars in-house, in a style that replicates the Carlini Design bars. So Savage Cycle is up-charging Carlini prices for house made products, which they are then lying to their customers who are in search of Carlini products and installing off brand bars. It was also discovered through a thorough inspection of the work which was paid to be done that the risers and riser bushings were not changed out. The products and work which were paid for were just taken off to put the fake carilini's on, and then reattached. Moral of the story, don't waste your time or money going to Savage Cycle, they are not upfront with their pricing, do not call to see if additional cost are okay when work is being completed, and sell off brand products while trying to pass them off as the real products. We like to think of riders as a community, who are there to help each other out, but clearly Savage Cycle isn't looking out for follower riders and motorcycle enthusiasts, they are looking to cut corners and make a profit no matter who it hurts in the process. read more

I got headers installed on a road king , they fell off 50 miles away , when he repaired the bike he never put a new gasket so I had an exhaust leak . He also damaged my O2 sensor , and lost my front wheel . I would never do business with this guy again . He's a joke. read more

I ordered stretched bags from these guys told me it would take a week ended up taking two weeks then when the bags came in they scratched him upon install so I had to wait another week to get repainted when I return to get them installed they immediately started putting the bags on right away (which seemed odd since they didn't ask me to over look them) everything seemed fine however when I get home I took one of the bags off and the paint job is crap (which they probably knew about that since they immediately started putting the bags on to hide it) you can see the paint drips along the bag also one of the locks on the bag was broken I called a few times to get a response from them and no return phone call service there is horrible and will not be going back which is unfortunate because there is a lot of work I would like done to my bike.... and looking at other reviews they don't respond to those either....this was a total rip-off and failure on them DO NOT GO TO THIS SPOT FOR YOUR BIKE NEEDS.. read more

Just drove up here from the Bay Area, I was told one price over the phone, when I get here it's a lot more. At first Kevin told me there was NO way he could run a credit card, and that he told me to bring cash (I would have remembered that), then he tells me he could run a card (sounds shady). Took my bike to get a tune up when I spoke to Kevin he said he would have it done in two days. When I brought it in they had a young kid running the shop on his own didn't know what to do or what bikes were for sale. He refused to give me a invoice for the bike.
