I stood at the empty counter for 10 minutes ("Pick Up" line is where you go for vaccinations.) A couple employees passing by did say "I'll be right with you." Eventually the counter was staffed and I was asked to fill out a form on a clip board. The form was the same one I'd been enticed to complete on-line as a way of saving time. I filled out all the same information again, and turned it in. Other people presumably waiting for vaccinations stacked up behind me, eventually 4 deep, outside the private consulting room where they give shots. Nobody went into that room, and nobody came out. I was first in line for my shots. But they apparently did not have anyone on staff who could give shots. 40 minutes after arrival I told the guy in line behind me good luck and left. With the drive, this was a waste of an hour and forty minutes of my time. On the way out I almost bought a bottle of Bactine, but figured I'd not reward them for wasting my time. I found the identical product at Wal-Mart for $5 less. On the positive side, this store is better stocked (post Chapter 11 filing) than the store in Freeland. Not great, but better.

Also, there was some construction debris in the parking lot so watch out for your tires. Speaking of tires, their auto center opens bright and early, but the Walmart itself doesn't have much for a food selection. I'm used to every Walmart basically having a grocery store and that is definitely not the case here. They had a lot of cool water sports equipment like kayaks and thing for sale outside at reasonable prices though, so if you're looking for those types of items, you can find them here. My experience here was a bit hit and miss but ok overall.

The pharmacy had our cat's prescription ready the next day, and the woman who helped me was very thorough when she went over the directions on how to apply the medication. Something is going on in the building and most of it was empty for some reason, but the pharmacy was up and running 100%. The staff was also very nice when I had called to ask about the prescription. I'm thankful to have a local pharmacy that could help me so that I didn't have to drive out of town, and it's also nice to support a downtown business.

First off, they're very Covid conscious. If you don't want to go inside, you can give them a call and they will bring your items outside to you. There is hand sanitizer everywhere, and everyone wears masks. Second - my goodness, everyone is SO NICE. Super helpful. I needed to get a prescription filled, and they had me entered into the system quickly and filled the prescription within 15 minutes. They also worked with me on a flu shot I had scheduled to reschedule me to when I wasn't on a steroid treatment. They never made me feel like I was inconveniencing them or putting them out, they were truly happy to just be helping me. You're not going to be getting a huge selection of everything you want or need for your pharmacy needs (it's not a Walgreens), but they are going to have something for you. Prices are a little higher, but hey, it's an island. In addition to the 'pharmacy' section, the General Store has a large selection of goods. There is a huge selection for kids - toys, markers, crayons, etc., amongst seasonal items. We're really grateful to have Ray's just a stones throw away for whatever we need!

It made me think of a Dick's deluxe if it wasn't mass produced. We had lunch at Lunchbox laboratory the day before and I have to tell you I liked this better! The fries were to die for! They are thinner like McDonald's fries but come unsalted. Which I liked because I'm an adult and can decide how much salt I want. Beautiful crispy fries served piping got. So darn good!
