Finally giving up on this pharmacy. Absolutely terribly operated. Fire everyone and start over. They take longer to fill prescriptions here than any pharmacy I've ever been to. They communicate poorly with customers. They just make it absolutely clear that they do not care about the customers. Would give zero stars if possible. Absolutely impossible to get ahold of anyone by phone without calling about 20 times. Have had medication missing when picking up prescription. Decide not to mention medication is out of stock until questioned why refill is taking so long. Randomly closed pharmacy due to "short staffing and weather" when literally every other store in Stanwood was open. Absolutely a train wreck of a store. Every shelf is empty. Do yourself a favor and go to QFC or Haggen. read more

One of the pharmacy technician named Jermey screamed at me over the intercom. I pressed the call button after waiting a couple minutes I wasn't sure if it went through. I rang it again, waiting a couple more mins and ranged it again as I wasn't sure it went through. They typically answer and tell me to wait. After 5 or so mins I ranged again. He answered and instead of saying "just give me a couple mins or please wait." He screamed I HEARD YOU! JUST WAIT! So rude. Before I could get a word in and say sorry I wasn't sure. He hung up the phone. No excuse to speak to anyone like that. read more

This pharmacy is not well run. They all (7 techs and 1 pharmacy take lunch from 1 pm -2pm. I was in extreme tooth pain and my dentist submitted pain meds almost 2 hours before I arrived at 1245 pm. The pharmacy in charge (Dr. phong) said it will not be filled till after 230 pm after lunch. Every deserves a daily lunch break but do all 8 employees need to go together and close down the pharmacy? Don't go here if you need your meds quick, their lunch is more important then your health or pains? read more

Today was the final straw!!! I have transferred ALL my prescriptions to another pharmacy. The day I go into a pharmacy TWICE and have to teach them how to do their Jobs is the last time I go there! I am a type 1 is Eric and use an insulin pump. My insulin. Has No Copay because it is filled as a Durable medical supplies item! It has been this way with Medicare since I have had a pump and all the YEARS I have been getting my insulin from RiteAid. Today because the pharmacist, Jeremy (I purposely did not capitulation his name!!) kept filing it as a prescription with Humana and NOT as a Durable Medical Supply item m, I had to pay $25 to get my insulin!! Not only that, I made two trips plus phone calls EXPLAINING it to Jeremy several times and he refused to consider I was right!!! I will NEVER step foot in that store again!!! read more

Things change, despite all of the 1 star reviews as of Dec 6 2021 my experience was top notch. from 11-21-21 I was seeking a Rite Aid brand name product. It was out of stock at this store and apparently at the warehouse. I then spoke with Kim and also Nancy (mgr). From this day forward until 12-6, there was a dedicated effort from both Kim and Nancy to assist. Multiple callbacks to keep me appraised of the situation and a relentless pursuit to satisfy the customer from start to finish and eventually purchase. I was most pleased and bought all 12 of this Rite Aid product. I've run my own business for over 20 years and am meticulous about customer service. Several years ago I started using Stanwood Rite Aid because they had a serviceable drive up, and an on-line account management system. After a few months of decent service it's just gone downhill. Recently I sat at the left lane drive up while several cars came and left in the right lane. Multiple attempts to communicate with the inside failed so I drove away. I came back a couple of days later and was told it would be a minute. 10 minutes later they asked for my information and 20 minutes later (while several cars passed through to the right) I called them again and was told it would just be a few minutes. Over 30 minutes passed before I received the prescription. Waiting in line inside may have been a better option, but that's not why I originally decided to shop there. Their online pharmacy is completely dysfunctional and negates the advantages of remote account management. They have not made any software improvements for at least 2-3 years. Today I'm unable to re-fill an enrolled prescription and their phone in system is busy or drops me when I enter the prescription number. I've decided to better spend my time venting and looking for another pharmacy. read more

Today at Rite Aid, hrrr in Stanwood, WRONGFULLY accused me of prescription forgery and fraud. The pharmacist was so incredibly rude to me as I was telling her it was not. She did not even contact the doctor, she called the police. She said it's now I'm the hands of the police. But luckily the offericer was sitting in the parking lot still. So I approached him, he had the RX in his possession. I told him that it was NOT fraud, literally handed to me by the doctor. He said he was about to come to my house. But he was very kind, and did not treat me poorly or judgmental in any way. I called the Dr on speaker phone and luckily they were in office, the confirmed the RX verbally so the officer went back inside and told the pharmacy they were wrong. He said since I seemed him out and approached him asking about it he knew it was a mistake. I'm just annoyed, I did nothing wrong, and the pharmacy treated me with such disrespect, the first tech jut walked about without a word to me and had the pharmacist tell me, and accuse me. I was treated like trash. It was humiliating and embarrassing as she spoke loud and clear with a long line of other customers. I absolutely understand these things truly happen, sp they need to be vigilant. But she did not even try to comfiim its validly with the doctor, or speaking to me first. I got my rx back, tool it to bartells and had it filled there without any issues. Thankful fot calm, kind officer that gives the benefit of doubt and again upset about the way the pharmacy handled the situation. And neither one ever did say what looked fraudulent about it. I will never use a rite aid again, not that they care. But I've had issues with rxs taking 5 days to be filled when called in, or refills taking several days to get to! read more

If I could give this location a zero star, I would! I called ahead to see if they had at home UTI test kits in stock from a recommendation from their partner store Bartells. The woman on the phone didn't bother to look and assured me they were on aisle 2. I drove down there, and me being 1 of 2 customers in the store, they obviously have the time to help out and at least find out when it's coming in their shipment. Olivia, had no idea what I was talking about, walked toward the back of the store mumbling and came back to say aisle 2. Didn't bother to show me or walk me over there. Like I said before, I was one of 2 customers in the store at that time. The other associate was not wearing a name tag but had black and pink hair and wore glasses- I am assuming she answered my call. How sad and pathetic this store is! Customer service was beyond horrible. I've been I've been in healthcare for over 20 years and I know if I ever treated patients that way, I would've been fired!! Please elevate this complaint to upper management. It seems that awesome help is hard to find. I did not deserve the treatment I received from both of these people. This pharmacy deserves a 0 star rating but that wasn't an option. I have NEVER had a good experience here. It's always something and instead of proving empathy for their short comings they give you boat loads of negative attitude. I love all the other rite aid pharmacies I have ever been to but this one leaves so much to be expected. Never have your meds ready in a timely matter, that is if they have them in stock at all, can't seem to verify your insurance because it's too much of an imposition. They are rude, and quite frankly I question the competency of the people working here. I really liked this store until a family member fell while they were shopping there. The staff took her information and said someone from the corporate office would follow up. They will not give you any kind of accident documentation at the store. I called and spoke to the manager who confirmed this was their procedure. It has been several weeks now and no one has called. I feel confident that if she was really hurt- it would be a real problem to get them to take any responsiblity. The local team is very nice- but this lack of accountability and follow through makes me not want to do business with this corporation. read more

I was told this will be common since they are giving so many vaccine jabs! They told me now that they know I'll need it they will get it filled? Really? STANWOOD RITE AID PHARMACY is TERRIBLY STRU..UGGLIN'...My husband needed a prescription filled for dental work. The Dentist called it in while my husband was still in her office two hours later my husband is at Stanwood Rite Aid Pharmacy. They tell him she didn't call it in and he would have to try again. This has happened So MANY times I don't have enough fingers to count. So he calls the dental office which first goes to a call center then you are on hold until they transfer you (just more time when your SICK, No Big Deal right? Wrong RONG aid pharmacy). It wouldn't be so bad if it didn't happen Every time. The Dentist called AGAIN! By now the Pharmacy tells him its going to take about 45 minutes. OMG! seriously? Why even CALL it in? He couldn't wait he was in so much pain. He left and had EMERGENCY ORAL surgery the next day. The Dentist AGAIN called to make sure the prescription was ready (THIS is NEXT day mind you). I go to pick it up and its $50 dollars over the price it should be. I get sent to another gal she asked me why her co worker sent me to her...UM he's behind the counter a foot from you why not ask him? She said it was probably my insurance, I told her its the same. She was one of two ladies who had been NON STOP TALKING the whole time. They were talking on the phone and then to each other, I could hear every word of what they were saying, real loud Really unprofessional in the Pharmacy, quite surprising considering they are all of a mature age. My husband and I have an issue every time I use the Stanwood rite -rong aid. She said yea we get a lot of bad reviews but the people come back anyway. Then she said it will be about 15 to 20 minutes you can go browse. Really? Yes sure, Don't feel like spending money at that store anymore, so no browsing for me thank you. No other customers were there but she couldn't stop talking long enough to get on the computer staple the receipt and hand me the bag with the medicine in it from yesterday, that should have been fixed and taken care of by next day right? Mind you my husband was out in the car bleeding and in pain. this is the WORST PHARMACY EVER. for months they have "claimed" that their drive thru is down. not to mention their automated refill system tells you your prescription will be done at noon and when you show up at 5 they tell you 45 min. i expressed that its a waste of our time and money coming back and forth. they say they have no control over the automated system. well take it down if it's not accurate! the manager had no empathy and the technician is a witch! she rudly says we'll come back tomorrow then instead of we will work on that now. she always has an attitude and an excuse madison definitely needs a few classes on customer service! read more

I am not sure why they have a photo department, if they only tell you they don't have time to help you. I went into the store, waited in line, and asked for passport photos. The cashier looked at me and said "at this time, we are too busy to do those" (there was one person behind me, and two cashiers). I indicated that this was the time I could be there, and she steadfastly refused to help. Bartell Drugs now has a new loyal customer. read more

I love this pharmacy! I went to three other local pharmacies but none could order the generic I wanted. By contrast, this Rite Aid's staff go out of their way every month to secure the American generic brand I request. I am truly grateful for their time and effort for me, one person out of thousands. This pharmacy keeps me free of my prior nightmares with foreign generics. Those meds led me to FDA's site and its surprising admissions. I learned and my doctor confirmed that the FDA allows a 45% variation in a generic's bio-active ingredients. Also, generic drug-makers only have a list of "ingredients," not the full "recipe," when a medication goes off patent. Further, SOME overseas sites do not begin to meet sanitation (lack of bathrooms and hot & cold water, bugs, other contaminates) or quality standards (unsound scientific testing, lack of sound practices, destroyed records) The FDA lacks staff to evaluate all international manufacturers though they added more after American patients died or grew ill. A 5 minute quick overview is David Gortler's online article 6/15/18 Generic Drug Quality. As long as Rite Aid customize its services for my needs, I'm with them for life! 5 STARS!!!!! P.S. My doctor called in a prescription for a bladder infection at about 10:30 am. My husband went to pick it up and they said that they never received a prescription order from the doc. I waited all day until 7:00 pm. I called rite aid and they again said that they have no order for a prescription for me. I decided to call my doctor (eclinic) and find out what is going on. The eclinic told me that they called it in at 10:30 am in the morning- and that it was called into Rite aids voicemail in the morning around 10:30 am! So the eclinic called Rite AID and sure enough- they had it ALL DAY LONG but never even bothered to check their phone messages! Bladder infections turn into kidney infections very fast. If I could give them 0 stars I would! They don't have prescriptions ready when they are supposed to leaving you waiting for 30-45 minutes in the parking lot. I had my Dr call in and 8 hours late when I was going home to camano I stop by and they tell me it wasn't ready and wouldn't be ready for 45 minutes!!! I was livid because this had been the 4th time this type of situation happened. So I go inside to speak with the manager, she's telling me they were backed up she's the only one she really needs to go pee and if I let her go pee she'll do my sons prescription faster than 45 minutes!! read more

I just returned from going to rite aid, I actually found what I was looking for, a Ink Jet. After looking thru the whole store, and then I was looking for a puzzle, took me 5 minutes of looking around and then asking another customer, and then she was only guessing, and said, she couldn't find anything and was going to stop shopping there. I have lived here dor 25 years, and used to shop here all the time. They have changed so much, I don't care for it, and besides every time you go in they have changed everything around. I will not be back in. and its a shame because the manager and most of the clerks are great, and the clerks themselves have a rough time finding things them selves.
