The two staff pharmacists are very helpful and told me things about my meds that my doctors didn't mention. The blonde cashier was very nice and even got me a lower price of one of my meds with Fred Meyer's discount card program. Then she offered to set up auto refill so now my med just fills by itself before I need it. Super helpful and I will be coming back for any med needs!

This is exactly why I specifically ask the pharm tech if my prescription can be filled BEFORE I give them my prescription. On Sunday 11/26/2023, I was told my medication was in stock and would be filled that day. When I came to pick it up, four days later I was told it hadn't been filled and could not be filled. The pharmacist then began screaming at me from behind two rows of cabinets in a VERY rude and curt tone. She was 100% out of line and completely unprofessional. I work in customer service all day and I know when to stand my ground and be firm. I was NOT raising my voice, I was not accusing anyone, I just told them that I was informed my medication WAS in stock and my prescription should've been ready on 11/26/2023 for pick up. Had it NOT been in stock, then I would've kept my prescription and went elsewhere like I have previously in the past. For the actual pharmacist to speak to guest in this way is not good mannerism. She wasn't even a part of the conversation I was having with the pharmacist tech. Someone needs to have a chat with her and ask her if this position is something she should continue pursuing or if another career choice may benefit her attitude accordingly. I've already had it with Fred meyers Lakeway location, now your Bakerview location is treating their guests horribly too? Y'all need to step your game up fredmeyers. So disappointing. I WILL be taking my business elsewhere. "Who's cares" you may ask....will I'm going to go tell 10 friends about my experience this evening. Those 10 friends will then go and yell at least 5 of their other friends da. Bellingham, WA is small town. Everyone out here knows everyone. So, fredmeyers, you should care. Those are your paying customers that are being treated like this. Not good for business

They were so KIND to me. A customer gave me some money, front desk let me call the ferry from their phone since my cell phone was also in the bag. They also made calls on my behalf. THEN one of the ladies who helps with eyeglasses gave me $20 more so I could get back to the ferry and have enough for lunch and walk on the ferry. Not only that! Every visit I've ever had, everyone - and I mean Everyone - in that office is so kind and pleasant. They have top notch equipment to help monitor glaucoma and techs who know what they're reading. Dr. Ashey is kind, fun, informative, and I just love her and all her staff! I can't recommend them enough. It's always a delight to see her and her marvelous staff. I've been taking my son here for about 5 years. My son was…read morehaving an extremely painful ongoing and somewhat baffling problem and after ending up in the ER again, the doctor there was very concerned and made some calls to see if a colleague he knew would be interested in taking the case. That colleague was Dr Lowe at Skagit Pediatric. She is a lovely caring person and her gentle yet no nonsense manner has been just right for my son (and me). She has advocated for him time and again for a variety of reasons. She's called his school to make sure they have been adequately (and legally) supporting him. She's called in various other specialists whom she's thought would be helpful. She's monitored him consistently over the years and is the person responsible for getting his health back on track. Dr Lowe has spent time getting to know my son. This is no easy thing. I don't have enough characters to go into how important this is for him. The second he even slightly senses condescension or the person who's too flippant and thinks they know where he's coming from (they probably don't), he shuts down. If it's bad enough (for him), he will fire them as his provider. He doesn't mess around and Dr Lowe has passed every hurdle with flying colors. With that said, he has also seen several other providers at Skagit Pediatric when Dr Lowe hasn't been available and every single one has been thorough, caring, and really listens. The receptionists at the front have never been anything but nice and caring. Sometimes a bit disorganized but never rude or dismissive. I've spoken with them on the phone many times and in person even more. l've also seen them handle any number of other people and l've never seen anything other than friendliness. Despite the difficulties that COVID has presented, we still have had nothing but proper, friendly care from Skagit Pediatric.

We would have been a new patient to this…read morepractice, but since the previous clinic (where my daughter's medical records are stored) is short staff and they are behind on faxing her records to Skagit.. they want to reschedule her appointment to a different day and time. This does not work for us since I have limited PTO, and I do not have the ability to predict when my daughter's asthmatic airway was going to be reactive to the cold weather. They gave terrible customer service because of a cough and we were seeking medical attention to have her breathing medication renewed since the prescription expired. They followed COVID protocols to the extreme, and they do not take into consideration that the parent knows and understands their own kid's health. My daughter did not have a fever or shortness of breath. She has a reactive airway and the cold weather makes it reactive. My daughter is allowed to have a cough. My daughter should not be denied medical care for their convenience. This is a terrible practice that eliminated humanity from their protocols.

Wow that's putting it to us. As we noted the cost would be more than the prior times at 700.00. Did our own blood test thru healthonelabs.com 99.00 When asked why a in person visit was needed as the blood work would be done. It was said quality service. I mentioned more like you want the money, going there in person was not necessary, but would be in order to collect the fees. I was told you can always go to SEAMAR. As it was cheaper and they would do refiled without a visit. Well that was strange reply. As I'm sure if I had never been there they would in fact not do so. What she was implying was that they have lower standards. Which was no even close to what not questions was about. She was just not going to admit that a policy of there's was in fact a way of making money. And if you cant a afford it then your welcome to go else where. Susan's words. Inside Anacortes Family Medicine, the staff is very nice and helpful. The front desk helps with anything you need. The nurses are great, and the doctors tend to run mostly on time. I've rarely had to wait too long - there are exceptions, but emergencies do come up. The clinic is a part of Island Hospital, and they are only a few blocks away from the Island Hospital ER. This is good because sometimes situations call for an ER visit, and the doctors have referred me down there on a handful of occasions throughout my life. Since they are affiliated with Island Hospital, they have good access to specialists for situations calling for one, as well as special testing done in a lab. They use the lab at Island Hospital. There is not one inside the clinic. There is an urgent care facility housed in the same building as Anacortes Family Medicine, and if Anacortes Family Medicine cannot fit you in to see a doctor, the urgent care can - there just might be a bit of a wait. This is very convenient. I highly recommend Anacortes Family Medicine!
