They're very polite and always professional to me. They fill medications I can't get mailed to me or that I want to pickup right away. I am very thankful to have them nearby my home. They are helping to get my health back on track. The only thing I can say that would improve is the removal of the cardboard endcaps with various non-pharmacy related stuff which are acting as crowd chokepoints. The store usually has the same trouble, but people are always doing their level best to help. Deeply appreciative to have you in the neighborhood, thanks for doing what you do.

The tech & the pharmacist yelled at my minor son after gaslighting about a prescription for my heart they said they would fill! Told us to come back in 15 minutes we show back up & that very two pharmacist & tech that told him to come back & it would be ready no problem looked us in our face and said we never told u you can fill it! "You probably took all your meds of 90 day supply in 30 of your heart medicine" "You're crazy! We don't want you hear! Go away! You are crazy! Loud & ghetto! We think you lost it!" I was baffled at the comments which are all recorded on my phone via audio as they were yelling at us gaslighting us, telling us we are "crazy in the head" the overweight brown haired white young woman then proceeded to tell me I'm fat & look at u!" When I tell u I was floored at this disrespectful mouth the both of them had all because they have a old none accurate medication on file they claim I took to much of!!!??? My daughter has several different prescriptions on file that are all active i recently moved back in the area this week, I use a few other Safeway pharmacy locations due to hardship & transportation issues! My son & I were so confused so we're a few witnesses who were watching while hearing them berate us for 10 minutes straight on camera!!!!!!!! They finally admitted they could fill it however said I have no refills, we show proof of the refills then they screamed at my son and I saying "fine then pay cash then!" I said huh?! I don't understand why we are being treated like this over a heart medicine! They then threatened to call the store manager we stepped out while waiting for the prescription that they said would be done a hour before no problem! My son comes back in to grab it, a large security guard & Safeways store manager confront my son & say "you guys are not allowed back here for treating our staff badly yelling at them! My son said "excuse me it was actually the other way around, they screamed my mom & I called us names, said we are crazy! Screaming my mom's information all through the back of store causing a seen breaking HIPPA law" the store manager looks and says "is that a threat? You're gonna tell on me" directly intimidating my minor son all while not backing the customer at all! The tech with the terrible nasty mouth refuses to give me her name & the pharmacist yelled behind her I'm not giving you my name either!! Then I was told by the tech "I will call the cops & u will not like that! Don't want to be like recent people in the news" I am a person of color, specifically a black woman! Her saying that and a customer hearing that really made me sick! We all know what she's referring to! It has been national news! This was terrible! I am filling a lawsuit against her & the store corporation, the direct store manager, the pharmacy, pharmacist, & the two techs! You as a store manager didn't even listen to the customer! That's ok I have it on video & so do you! Let's play hardball! That was terrible! The pharmacist who was there has a problem with customer interaction via the reviews about her say it all! I never threatened anyone! Ever! Barely raised my voice until they did & you have the audacity to third party "band me" well guess what, I was never once asked nor told to leave ever! We find the whole staff very friendly and we appreciate the time they take to inform and answer any questions we might have. We definitely recommend them for vaccines, prescriptions and they have great coffee and treats too!

My family moved to Schaffner after using Rite Aid…read more The difference is significant. They fill prescriptions quickly but the main point is the staff. They are so friendly and caring. It's like having a family friend help you out. They know all our names and who we are when we pull up. They respond quickly to text messages through their app. They have a nice inside shop too. If you happen to hate ugly compression socks, they have a lot of colorful, interesting pairs there. We have a trans family member and the staff instantly made note and they consistently make sure that they use the proper pronouns. They are exactly how a pharmacy should be. There are only two cons. They are understandable, but not convenient sometimes: 1. They are closed on weekends. 2. They close at 6pm That's it, and those are cons I can live with. I can't recommend Schaffner Pharmacy enough!

They ask about your life in general, how things are going, and they actually put the effort in to remembering aspects of the brief conversations. Just that little effort all the pharmacists put in to their interactions, creates personal dynamic. They never make you feel like you're just another number in the queue of people waiting to fill their prescriptions. It may not seem like such a big deal, but I always walk away feeling better about myself. People who are essentially complete strangers, but they take the time to actually get to know you and it leaves me feeling slightly more important than I did before getting my prescription filled. I'll be using this particular pharmacy as long as I can.

No matter how stressful or busy it gets in the pharmacy, he always has a smile on his face and is very pleasant. He makes sure everything has been taken care of before the customer leaves and always tells them to have a great day or some similar goodbye. He really deserves a raise because I will continue to get my prescriptions there because of him. Great customer service is very hard to find anymore. The pharmacist then began screaming at me from behind two rows of cabinets in a VERY rude and curt tone. She was 100% out of line and completely unprofessional. I work in customer service all day and I know when to stand my ground and be firm. I was NOT raising my voice, I was not accusing anyone, I just told them that I was informed my medication WAS in stock and my prescription should've been ready on 11/26/2023 for pick up. Had it NOT been in stock, then I would've kept my prescription and went elsewhere like I have previously in the past. For the actual pharmacist to speak to guest in this way is not good mannerism. Theresa has been such a help, figuring out insurance non sense and getting doctors to get things faxed over, keeping up on refills, etc. We have had issues here and there when other people have been working (floating pharmacists, or techs) but for the most part, as far as dealing with a pharmacy....they have been amazing. Gabrielle, and Robin, (not sure if I'm spelling their names right) have been a huge help. Everyone in that pharmacy knows me and my family and have been incredibly helpful. I hate dealing with all of that stuff...so they make my life easier. The only thing that never seems to work for me is the automatic refill and phone call/ messages whatever....that part I've given up on, but it's fine...I don't need it.

We will be traveling soon to Africa for a safari and needed to get special medications and vaccinations for our safety. James did a lot of research, called us in advance to let us know about which vaccines were recommended, and others that he would or would not recommend based on our personal health and conditions in the countries that we will be visiting. When we met with James, he sat with us for over an hour, giving us our information, medications, suggestions, and making sure that he answered all of our questions. He is caring, personable, and has a nice sense of humor. I would highly recommend using this service if you will be traveling out of the country.
