I have been to the ER here several times over the past 5 years…read moreThe last time was during the covid/19 outbreak So I was already nervous about going into a hospital. I was having an asthma flare up I'd been having It for several days and was scared it might be something else because I have other health issues and the things I was trying from my dr weren't working that well . I had on goggles and a n9 respirator it's my painting respirator I have used it with freshened filters for virus protection .The blonde heavy set woman at the front desk was very rude to me more than once . When you are already suffering the last thing you want is a rude uncaring attitude from someone. After I went back to get checked in the very young slender woman with long dark hair was very rude too! She was very impatient at my answers to her questions while checking me in and had a very condescending and totally non empathetic attitude and snapped her answers to my questions at me in a very patronizing manner .I couldn't believe they keep people like this employed at an emergency room! When the nurse came in he was very nice ( at last a nice person!) He was pleasant , caring and friendly. And answered my questions in a calm and informative way. I saw the same dr. I had seen before several times and he is great . He also seems very caring and Kind, and made me feel really at ease and comfortable about what was happening with my health. He was also pretty thorough. The person who does the CT scans was also cordial and explained to me things about the scan and why they do them the way they do which I appreciated . He did this in a clear and positive manner . So everyone I dealt with coming in was just atrocious not friendly or nice but the complete opposite and made me feel worse than I already felt. The professionals who did my health care were the polar opposite. It's really too bad that this facility lets the staff at the front behave that way to people . It really seems wrong .Those people should be chastised for the way they treat people coming in to the hospital, and actually they should be fired if they continue to do so . All the stars are for the drs, nurse and radiology person . The others get a - star!

We keep trying to like our local hospital (Whidbey Peace Health in Coupeville, WA) but leave VERY…read moredisappointed every time. ER department could be GREATLY improved. Initial visit to emergency is OK, nurses are wonderful, however, SEVERAL times my 90+ mother has been released too early and needed more care the same day, so then we go to Island Hospital in Anacortes, WA. The last visit to ER in Coupeville resulted in 5 HOURS of horrible SCREAMING (no exaggeration!) from another patient. The whole ER had to listen to it non-stop almost our entire time there. RIDICUOUS! Many patients were frightened, on top of being extremely sick. Whether the screamer was mentally off, addicted to drugs or whatever, NO ONE should be in that state for over 5 hours. I welcome being contacted by the hospital to hear all of my family's experiences. They are so lucky we don't believe in suing.

We so wanted to work with Bayview Design. We initially made…read morecontact with a representative at Bayview. She seemed to really know her products and seemed very knowledgeable on contractors etc. on the Island. When we didn't hear back from her in weeks we reached out only to find she had a medical emergency that precluded her from helping us. We wish her well. When we asked what happened, we were told about her medical condition and that we had, "fallen thru the cracks". Okay, then have someone else come out please. A subsequent appointment was made and Courtney came to our home who seemed knowledgeable and competent. Weeks after and Courtney NEVER responded! Our saga began in November and it's March now. THEY NEVER RESPONDED! WOW! We sought other designers and we are almost done with a Kitchen and Bathroom remodel that Bayside could have easily had but for a lack of response on their part. We spent over $50,000. Their business must be going thru the roof for them to be able to ignore customers like they did with us.

I originally was recommended to go to this business as I was going to remodel my kitchen. I walked…read morein and came into contact with Courtney. She was very hurried and stated that she does not do walk in's, but, can make an appointment to see my place. She did, came out, took notes, measured very efficiently. I also described my needs of a large pantry space, knock out a wall, close off an unnecessary exterior door and to have a more "open" concept that hid the sink upon entry to the house, and that I did not want a "corner" ( really don't like Lazy Susan's) When I got the proposal back, I observed a complete open concept in an "L" shape" with my sink in full view of the front door, a corner, no large pantry, little storage space except for a large island. When I e-mailed her, I was asking if we could find a way to get a larger pantry space and got no response. I called twice a couple of weeks apart, left messages and got no response. At this point, she has lost my business and respect for her professionalism, as well as, the desire to ever recommend anyone to this business. Even if she was not the right designer or did not want to work on the design further, I would have hoped that I would have gotten some feedback/contact to that affect. I have moved forward on my kitchen with another designer that has been wonderful. It has been a fluid project, challenging, but, we came up with a perfect design that would allow for the large pantry and other needs.

Anyone with tooth pain knows that getting an appointment soon takes first priority and his office staff was so helpful in getting me seen quickly. As a testament to Dr. El-Bahr's skill, my tooth had no pain after my root canal (both times). As a surgeon myself, I can recognize surgical skill. Dr. El-Bahr not only did a great job very skillfully, he also did it efficiently, because I was not sitting in the chair very long having the procedure done. Before I knew it, my procedure was done and I had no pain. I highly recommend Dr. El-Bahr and Silver Lake Endodontics.

I was referred to Dr. Elbahr by my regular dentist, who decided mid-drill, that I needed a root…read morecanal...my dentist put a giant hole on my tooth then filled it with a temp filling and sent me on my way. I'm a severe metal dentaphobic, as in, I'm deathly afraid of metal dental tools. Not the drill, but the exam mirror, and the metal picks that rattle against my teeth. This is important info for later on. Anyway, when I first walked into Dr. Elbahr's office I was warmly greeted by the receptionist, who had been very thorough in finding out my insurance information prior to my arrival, and had all my paperwork ready for me to sign. I was immediately directed to the exam chair by another friendly staff member who proceeded to do my xrays. Dr. Elbahr walked in, introduced himself, made some small talk, looked at the xrays, did my exam, and then we discussed my plan of treatment. I explained my dilemma, and he assured me he would make me as comfortable as possible during treatment. Both he and his assistant both asked me on separate occassions if I was on any pain, and actually not being in pain surprised them. He told me to call his office if I have any pain before treatment. My actual root canal was scheduled for ten days later (they were booked because it was the end of the year, and everyone is trying to use their benefits). Today, I received my first root canal treatment. As before, when I arrived, I was greeted warmly, and directly seated in a very comfy chair. The doctor came and sat with me, made small talk while he prepared his instruments and whatnot, and assured me that if I became too scared we would take another route, just let him know. He started the numbing injections, numbing spots at a time, and told me if I feel any pain to let him know. I was given a pair of dark glasses, and they turned up the music so I could focus on it instead of the drill sounds. I brought my own headphones though. The treatment went well, he explained everything as it was happening...and when he brought out the stills I just turned my music up. Every time the anesthesia would start to wear off (my body burns it off quick), I would raise my hand, and he'd give me another shot. He sent me home on antibiotics, and I need to go back in two weeks. So far, Dr. Elbahr has been incredible. Friendly, personable, thorough, timely, and definitely professional. He and his staff will take care of you!
