We used Sav On Floors for the second time and were satisfied with the value received on the hard wood installation. The first time we were customers was 20 years ago on a main level hard wood installation; this time, we expanded the hard wood to stairs and a second floor. It's been nearly a year since the second installation, and the flooring is holding up ok so far. Recommend customers take notes, as communication is primarily in person or over the phone; when we used the service, the company didn't rely on email. Also, if there is a specific request, recommend ensuring that is included in the sales notes and tracking forms for clarification. read more

Working with Sav-On Floors was truly a pleasure! They helped us transform our home making our vision a reality! My husband and I purchased a townhome containing carpet on the basement and upper floors, and original hardwood floors on the main level in need of assistance. Meeting with Saeed, he heard out our needs, highly considered our budget, and assisted us in picking out new flooring to transform our space. He was very responsive throughout the scheduling and installation of the new flooring and did not request payment until we were 100% satisfied with the work done. He carefully inspected the work to ensure nothing was overlooked! Now, our home gleams with beautiful new hardwood floors on the upper floors, LVP on the basement level, and re-sanded and stained floors on the main level. We will be highly recommending Sav-On floors to all of our friends and family! read more

Our realtor recommended Sayeed at Sav On floors and she did not steer us wrong. First, he helped direct us to the perfect mix of affordable and still high quality carpet we were looking for so we scheduled that installation. At the last minute we needed to add a hard floor as well and Sayeed came through with in stock flooring that could be installed within our short timeline. I'm thrilled with our new floors, and the installation was quick and professional. I highly recommend Sav On Floors for whatever your flooring needs may be. read more

This is the second time we used Sav In Floors, and both times went very well. The first was 21 years ago with carpet put down in our newly finished basement, and most recently we replaced the carpet with LVP flooring. We worked with Saeed who was patient and very helpful as we reviewed and tried out many samples from their large selection. Price was good and install went very smoothly with no concerns. The new wood look LVP cane out fantastic. They get a lot of repeat business, especially in our neighborhood. Would highly recommend. read more

Excellent workmanship and best price after shopping around in Fairfax and Manassas.

Had them install hardwood floors in my office on the second floor. Floor looks great and the crew was quick and cleaned up completely after the job. My complaint is that the mount for one of the pendant lights in the kitchen below the office was damaged. When called to discuss this I was told that they would not cover any repair to it. The only discussion was to take pictures off the adjoining walls; no discussion of any damage waivers. Use with caution. read more

He is the worst! His crew damaged our walls and doors during hardwood installation and they never took the responsibility of it. He said it can happen and it is not their fault. He called us a liar! He always talks about customer satisfaction, but doesn't care about you as soon as you sign the contract and he gets his money! His crew is as awful as him! Don't trust his words EVER! read more

My experience with Sav-On Floors started out on a positive note. After getting several estimates to have the hardwood replaced on my main level, they were the cheapest so I decided to go with them. I went in and gave them a check for half of the job, and signed their paperwork. Later that day I was called by the salesman who asked me to come back into the store, stating there had been a mistake on the estimate. I traveled back to the store to find out that the salesman had failed to include some of the installation cost, and they wanted me to absorb the added 2K+. Understanding that mistakes happen, I attempted to counter their offer by offering to absorb a big chunk of their mistake, but was meant with little effort on their end. My major complaint is their total lack of the fundamental business practices of standing behind their estimates, and once a deals is made, paperwork was signed, and money exchanged, that they should honor that contract. If a mistake was made one would think a reputable business would attempt to keep the costumer happy, and work with said costumer on a amicable solution. That certainly did not happen in this case. I was very disappointed in the whole experience, and took my check back and ran. I suggest you look elsewhere for your flooring projects! read more

From beginning to end, this was a wonderful experience! I only needed a small area - a stairway from 1st floor to basement. I was treated as though I was needing a huge amount of work to be done - with courtesy, respect, care and prompt handling of my calls and requests. As I was selecting the carpet, a recommendation was made to go with a different type for the stairs (actually it was less expensive than what I had been looking at). I am so delighted now to have the recommended carpet on my stairs. Upgraded padding was added at no charge, the installation was handled quickly, efficiently and neatly - no damage to walls, no mess left by the crew. I am thrilled with everything, including the price! Saeed and his team ROCK! Thank You! read more

Saeed is the best. He installed the floors in our house in 2016 and they still look beautiful. This year we remodeled our kitchen and needed some more floor to match the original. Oops, discontinued. Saeed called all over the country, pursued a few dead ends, and finally found just enough to finish the job. Our new kitchen looks great and you can't tell the new section of floor. This was a small job but he really pulled out the stops for us. read more

We did replaced our upstairs carpet after going place to place we ended up and Sav On Floors. We were met at the door by the salesman who came out and measured our home and had our carpet installed very professionally. The salesman also came out during the installation to make sure the job was going correctly and on time. As he knew we needed to replace our carpet quick because of company we were having coming into town. I highly recommend Sav On Floors. I will be going back for another property I have. Keep up the great work!!! read more

Great job and easy to work with the sales and installers. Great suggestions for stairs. Living in "Cashburn", we usually don't get a great price and super quality without paying an arm and a leg. Sav On Floors is the place to go for good quality and good prices. read more

Sav on Floors did an amazing job installing our carpet in Haymarket. Mansour was wonderful to work with, he even came to our house bringing different samples that he thought would work, we ended up going with a carpet he recommended, and we're very happy with it. The installers did an excellent job too! Going with Sav on Floors was a much better experience than big box stores, and the price was less too. read more

We solicited multiple estimates before choosing this contractor. They came in, measured and eventually delivered the product to our home. Days later, as agreed, they returned to install it. After removing the existing floor in all three rooms, they told me that they miscalculated the measurements by almost 20%, apologized and asked us to pay the difference. Given that their estimate was a defining reason for choosing them over others, we agreed to pay what we thought was fair which was the actual dealer cost for the remaining floor to be ordered. I asked for his actual materials cost however when I went to validate it with third party vendors in the same business, there was a significant discrepancy. After a high pressure argumentative conversation (which I felt was unnecessary given they admitted to this being their error entirely) with the sales person, I ultimately paid the fair market value (as determined by another wholesaler in the business) for the additional wood flooring even though the calculation error on the estimate was, as they admitted, entirely their fault. The second installer that came to finish the job, did so while spending 90% of his time on his phone. I recommend that if that happens to you, make the contractor stick to their original estimate. In the end, the additional cost we had to pay would have impacted our decision as the next best estimate offered a better product. Responsiveness to any emerging issues (should there be any on the recent install) will determine if we would ever use this provider again. Until then, we are undecided as we did not feel particularly respected as a customer. read more

Used them to purchase and install my inlaws engineered hardwood. Great floor, installed on time. My only beef is that the communication was difficult at best. Couldn't get ahold of the sales guys when I called and he was a little patronizing. But I am not going to argue with the floor or the quality. The next time I need flooring, I will probably get a bit from them. Not so sold on the customer side that I wouldn't consider using anyone else, but I would give them another shot. read more

12 years ago we had a great experience with them installing carpet on our entire first floor. Recently we bought a room sized remnant that we installed ourselves in a small room. We made a mistake on the depth of a closet, so we installed a strip at the closet entrance, and planned to add a piece of carpet or tile in there later. I checked with the store, and they saved me a piece of trash from another install of a very close match carpet that would have been discarded. after that job. We picked it up, and there was no charge. We installed the piece, and they saved the day. We are going to re-do the first floor, and rest of the bedrooms soon, and they will be my place to purchase. Very nice, family business. read more

I was referred to Sav On Floors by a colleague. I had to replace my carpet in a short time frame and was looking for a good balance between cost and quality. Mansur was extremely professional and pleasant to work with. His no-pressure style and work ethic made the whole process easy. I was able to get the carpet I wanted installed within 4 days of the consultation at a very reasonable price. The final result looks great and I couldn't be happier. I will recommend Sav On Floors to friends and family members that will need their flooring replaced in the future. read more

We first hired Sav On Floors about 10 years ago to recarpet our townhouse. The store has a great selection of flooring and at reasonable prices. Saeed, the owner, is professional, knowledgeable and friendly, and you can tell he takes great pride in his work. The employees that came out to do the work were on time and professional. Since we had such a good experience with Sav On Floors, we have recommended them to friends who have used them as well. We have since moved twice in the last 10 years and continue to hire them for our carpet needs and have no complaints. You will have no regrets hiring this company for your flooring needs! read more

Just needed a new carpet for our family room. Saw good reviews here and they are local. I called and asked if they were running any specials. Mr. Mansoor said yes. He came by the next day and brought samples, including some that were on sale. He said they had many more at the showroom from 5 or 6 major suppliers but the one he showed me on sale was perfect for our needs. The price was very good. Very decent carpet and padding for $2.39/square foot, I believe. The guys came the next day to install. Total price was just $799 for a medium sized family room (about 29 X 14). Will definitely use them again. read more

Everything about our recent first-time experience with Sav On Floors was first-rate. We needed to replace flooring in one of our bathrooms. Saeed was helpful, knowledgeable, and very pleasant to work with. Sav On Floors had an excellent selection and great prices. Saeed was able to schedule the work quickly. On installation day the crew arrived on time and efficiently completed the job. It looks great. We will be contacting them again as we turn our attention to the master bathroom! I can recommend Sav On Floors without hesitation. read more

I needed carpeting replaced in my townhouse and was quoted one price at the store when I placed the order which included the carpet, installation and removal of the old carpet but later to find out after I had paid half up-front that an additional charge was added for the removal of the carpet which added a couple hundred dollars more than the original cost. Also was told the carpet installers are employees of the company vs independent contractors which was not the case. I plan on using Home Depot in the future although the turnaround time for installation is a little longer, the total cost will be much lower than Sav on floors for the same carpet quality. read more

When we decided to replace much of the main floor flooring in our home, we didn't even shop around. We had heard enough good things about Sav-On-Floors that we felt comfortable dealing with them. There were a few negative entries on the Web, but we figured they were from isolated, unreasonable customers, especially since we were treated so well by the manager, Saeed, and the staff. We chose a porcelain ceramic tile for the kitchen and eating area and then engineered oak hardwood for the LR, DR, entranceway, and hall. The tile was installed beautifully, and the few defects were fixed quickly and in good spirits. Unfortunately, not so with the hardwood. We learned after the job was completed that the installers were supposed to clean the boards as they were being installed. Since they did not, we had swirls and glops of glue all over the floor...nearly everywhere. They hastily replaced the large area rug in the LR and the furniture throughout (even scarring several new boards in haste) obviously trying to cover up some of the problem. At the direction of the store manager, the installers made an effort at cleaning, but only on each specific spot we marked with blue tape and only with a makeshift cleaning product. The store manager came out and suggested we just pay our housekeepers an extra $50 and let them clean the floor. So, we have purchased a professional cleaning product and are cleaning as we can and as we find the worse of the areas. We have since talked with several customers of the store and have learned that the quality of the installation is often dependent on which installation team you are assigned. Evidently, the installers are contracted by several flooring companies. and it's the luck of the draw who does your work. Should you chose to hire Sav-On-Floors, we suggest you talk with other customers who have had the same team install who will be installing for you. It might save you a whole lot of grief that we went through and are still dealing with. D. & M. Jackson, Gainesville, VA read more

This used to be my favorite place to buy flooring. 20 years later I used them once more after moving out of my house. I drove back to check on job and closet was not carpeted therefore didn't make final payment. I had medical emergency with surgery and have been harassed for payment. It's only been 2 weeks and I've not driven back to house yet. I promised to drive to house in just 3 more days to check job...again and was told was being referred to collection agency. There was no care or concern for my very real situation..or the fact I'd used them two times prior! I will never be treated poorly/abused by them again!!!!!! I was yelled at by Sayeed over the phone when in PreOp then again one week later. No more ABUSE! read more

Incompetence is rampant in this store, it take two salespeople to operate the copy machine! I ordered some linoleum base on a photo I left with them. What they ordered was not even close to my photo. I was very impressed with the variety at Sav-On Floors, the commitment they had to helping me select just the right carpet, and the professional installation by a crew that obviously took great pride in their work. They replaced my contractor grade carpet with plush, thick piled carpet that, along with the upgraded pad, makes it feel like you're walking on a pillow. The balance between quality and costs was a concerned, but compared to other competitors, I believe Sav-On had a much better product for the same or a little less price. I also used them for the slate-like tiles in my laundry room. They were very easy to work with and were very accommodating when the renovation work kept slipping. Two words I'd used to describe Sav-On Floors, Quality and Service. I will be using them again. read more

I'm glad Rachel W had a good experience, I did not! I would NOT recommend this flooring company at all. I had them install 2 sets of hardwood stairs and hardwood in a hallway. 1 set of stairs looks absolutely horrible, wood is all crooked and they used calk to try to hide it. My friends actually make fun of the steps now, that's how bad it looks. The other set has wood that is curling. The hallway has wood that is split. They installed a tiny strip of wood at the top of one set of stairs (instead of against the wall which would be customary) but seemed to run out of material, so filled it with wood filler. It all looks terrible. I complained and they wouldn't do a thing about it. They tried to make me feel like I was stupid and didn't know what a I talking about. I will never use this company and suggest nobody else does either. read more
