We've used Kruper Flooring and Design for two projects: The first was installation of a new tile floor (Congoleum DuraCeramic--wears great, even in a high traffic area) and the second was the refinishing of our hardwood floors. Everything about both projects was easy, by the book, work done as promised at the price agreed upon. There is a lot of attention to the quality of the work: Neat grout lines in tile, no oversplash of finish on baseboards when floors were refinished. Recently, we finally dropped something that put a chip in one tile. Five years ago, when the floor was installed, they left us with a box of tiles "just in case" and told us that tiles could be replaced if ever needed. I emailed Kruper floors to inquire about scheduling a repair. They responded promptly via email (Tracy was great to deal with!) and sent us a page of grout samples so we could make sure the grout color was correct. Upon confirming the grout, the repair was scheduled, the worker showed up as scheduled, worked quickly, and the floor was repaired. Kruper Flooring and Design treated the repair of a single tile in a five year old floor as if it was the most important thing they had to do. We remodeled our guest bathroom. Bath Fitters did the tub and toilet, Kruper team did the floor. We replaced the linoleum in the tub/toilet room, rug by the sink in anteroom with a very nice tile. The Kruper team worked with us to coordinate with Bath Fitters and the process of replacing the tub, remove and install the flooring, and replacing the tub went as smooth as possible, even the return visit to place the transitioning wood connecting the tile to the wood floor in the hallway. Great match on the wood. The removal of the old flooring and the installation of the tile was very professional. Cleanup was most satisfactory. The tile looks fantastic, very smart looking facilities for our guests. We've now use the Kruper team for carpeting, wood flooring and tile flooring. Extremely please with the craftsmanship in all three areas. We had a custom stair runner installed by Kruper Flooring. From beginning to end, the team from Kruper Flooring made the process so easy. Michelle came by the house, took all of the measurements and told us exactly how much carpet we would need. She then told us where to send the carpet that they would be installing and answered every little question that we had along the way. Joe took over from there, tracking the carpet for us and scheduled the installation. The installers arrived on time, walked us through the process, helped pick out a color for the edge binding, installed the pad and runner, cleaned up and were done in a matter of hours. We had already used Kruper Flooring for the carpet in our living room and will certainly be using them for all our flooring needs from now on! read more

Joe Kruper is a man of his word. I posted a poor review here several weeks ago based on work that his firm did 5+ years ago. Joe reached out to me to resolve this and indicated to me that the structure of his company had changed significantly in the last several years. He agreed to come back to the job site and stretch the carpet for free and resolve the carpet issues that prompted the poor review. One of the best flooring companies in the business. I was amazed at how attentive the staff was throughout the process, from measuring, ordering and installation. One small hiccup during the install process which they remedied immediately and went above and beyond to make my super satisfied. Their lifetime installation warranty is unheard of in the industry and they're great service levels are better than most I've done business with and I've done flooring in my last four homes. We have used Kruper flooring twice in the last year and have had great experiences both times. We had a deep scratch on our wood floors shortly after install when we moved a piece of furniture.
