We bought a voucher from Slevomat.cz (with which we have had really good experience) for Satuy restaurant's fish & beef variace - for 2 persons, which was 100g Brazilian beef rib eye steak, 100g flank steak, 100g filet mignon, 2 tiger prawns, 100g grilled octopus, and 100g tuna steak. All of which was overcooked. The first problem was that they did not even bother to ask how we would like it to be prepared. When it arrived, it was all well done (we would have asked for rare had we had the chance). The waiter claimed it was "medium", but the tuna steak lacked any pink, the octopus was chewy, and the beef was dry. Not even the very average sauces could save it. We expressed out concerns to the waiter,
who promptly talked to the chef and informed us that "the tuna is Sri Lankan White Tuna and it is supposed to be that white".
Even if that were true, it should not have been that dry and overcooked.
The sides were sweet potato fries, which were extremely oily and saggy, and a mango and papaya salad, which was slathered in sesame-seed oil. We gave them a moderate tip because we had already pre-paid for the voucher and the waiters were nice, but we are not returning. The only reason this review is two stars instead of one is the yellow fin tuna tartare
amuse-bouche they served as an apperiser, which was very tasty. There are better restaurants in Prague for anyone seeking a proper surf-and-turf. Just stay away from Satuy if you expect high quality. read more
