To my luck, I took a jacket to be cleaned and was returned a damaged jacket . I advised the staff of the incident all to be treated rudely and told that it was not their responsibility. Their job is to assure all material/fabrics are properly washed . My child could even read the instructions and material this jack was composed of .. Employee (large young girl, dark hair, owners niece). A. Stated, " it is YOUR responsibility for leaving your dress here over 30 days....if it gets dirty in our shop it is NOT our problem!" DON'T GO THERE!!!! New ownership is awful . I would give them no stars if it would let me. I have been going to this cleaners for years and now it was sold. I took my husband white work shirts in like always on sept. 7 and they were to be ready by the 10th. I hadn't gone to pick them up because I always wait until I have a new batch to drop off and then I swap - pick up and drop off. I never really pay attention to the ready date because of how I rotate them. I went to drop off 8 shirts and pick up 7. When I got there Alfonso took my slip for pick up and was looking around and couldn't find my shirts. He comes to me and says your shirts aren't ready until after 4pm. Thinking nothing if it I said ok well I haven't paid for those yet and I owe for the new ones I just dropped off. The total was $60, I have him a check. I came back a couple days later to grab the shirts from before and Alfonso had shirts already for me to pick up. I walked in a s said oh good they are here and he said no these are the shirts you had just dropped off. I said where are my other shirts and he said I don't know. Can you give me a few days to find them. I said no problem. Went back a few days later and he said you already picked them up. I went ground and round with him. He said ok give me a few more days to see what I can find. I told him if you can find them I need you to pay to replace the shirts cuz I am not going to be out almost $400 in dress shirts. He said ok I know it's my responsibility just give me a few more days. I did and I came back in on Monday Oct . 10 and still no shirts. At this time Alfonso proceeded to tell me I already picked them up and the I went over the entire timeline again with him and he proceeded to tell me he never told me any of the things I repeated to him. He said I never said they were lost cuz you already picked them up. When I brought up remember you had to search for them and you said they weren't ready until after 4pm and he said I never searched for them and I never told you that. At this time I lost my cool and I was yelling at him. I asked for the owner and he said his name is David . I asked for his number and he said it just the dry cleaner number. I said oh so he is here Alfonso said no and I have no other way to get in touch with him. I aid now who's lying. I took his name down and gave Alfonso a note with my name and phone number to call me NOW!!' I told Alfonso I need a call by tomorrow . Well tomorrow is here and no call from the owner. I now have my lawyer looking into it. It's just crazy how he backed out of everything he told me. It has been over a month since I dropped off the shirts and have spent every week going back to hope they found them. NOPE Maybe my lawyer will get there attention so I can replace my husbands shirts for work. Bottom line is DONT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSiNESS read more

I have been going to Saturn Cleaners since I moved to Corona about 3 years ago based on a recommendation from one of my colleagues who also lives in the area. I have been pleasantly surprised at the courtesy and friendliness of everyone here. My clothes are always done on time and always come back looking great. They are priced very reasonable and have a great turn around time. The only negative is that they do not accept plastic so be sure to stop by the ATM first. I dropped off a cuffed shirt to be laundered, and I picked up the laundered shirt the following day. Both shirt sleeves were filthy. One of the shirt sleeves was ripped into the fabric like an abrasion. The collar was filthy as well. Owner blamed me for the damage, stating that the sleeves ripped when they rub against things, and that he couldn't clean the shirt bc the shirt would tear - the only thing is, when you wear a cuffed shirt, the sleeves don't rub against tables and other things like normal rounded sleeves because the ends are pinched together at the bottom like an upside down drop of water, and every single time I launder my shirt sleeves and collars at home using Shout, the stains come out without a tear. Every. Single. Time. Owner then ran away and still had the balls to cash the check. I'm contemplating suing him for damages. Dropped off a suit for dry cleaning, and that came out fine. These guys get one star, if not zero. That guy is still probably cowering in the back of his store. If the guy had simply called me and said he couldn't launder the shirt instead of trying to do a piss poor job of laundering my shirt, I would have told him to dry clean it and would have happily paid the price to preserve the quality of my shirt. Instead, he ruined my shirt and wasted my time. I thought I could recommend this place to my family. So I've never used a dry cleaner before but I'm entering the part of my life where I'm collecting nice enough clothes that need to be dry cleaned. And that's when I decided to do a sort of "battle of the dry cleaners" and take 1 garment each to several of the local corona dry cleaners to see which one I liked best. I went to 11 in all and Saturn Cleaners was pretty good. I took in a semi formal maxi dress and was charged $12. One of the staff seemed very knowledgeable about clothes because she warned me that the type of fabric on my dress could possibly be damaged but I agreed to the cleaning anyway. They require prepay in cash or check but I didn't have enough on me at the time so they let me pay when I picked up. The garment was ready the next day and it was fine. It was cleaned and pressed to my satisfaction. Overall I'm satisfied with this place. The clerk was friendly too. read more

The only downside is they do not take credit cards but that's a small price to pay (....get it?? I was trying to find a good dry cleaners to bring my silk tops to for cleaning. Based on the strong positive reviews for this cleaners I thought it would be the place to go to in Corona. I asked two questions when I dropped off my first silk top to make sure the establishment was familiar with handling silk and how best to treat it, since not all dry cleaners are equally experienced. When I returned to pick up the top I had brought two more of my silks incase the cleaning was satisfactory, so I could drop off the rest of what I wanted treated. I checked the top of course and saw two spots I had not previously noticed, mentioned it, and then questioned the woman at the counter about the shine of the garment. Silk has a slight luster, it's one of the qualities of the material that you want to preserve, along with color, when you clean it. I noticed the silk did not feel as soft or have that light subtle sheen to it as the other silk tops I had, that had not been dry cleaned yet. I asked how they treated the garment to preserve the light shine of silk, and the woman said they only treated it to preserve color and that she didn't know what I meant by shine and she would ask the owner. Because of the two spots that had been left on the garment after being cleaned, I asked if they had treated the arms. She said no, only if asked, and I was shocked because you might not treat the underarms of a cotton garment every time, but you should for silk or the fabric will become discolored. I assumed this would be a procedure apart of the normal dry cleaning of any silk top brought in to be cleaned and included in the price. It's why you have to dry clean silk, you can't just throw it in the wash and not take certain steps to maintain it. So the woman filled out a new receipt for me with another top I had brought, I asked her to mark the two spots that were left on the already cleaned garment, she did, and on the receipts she wrote that the owner should handle them only, spots and underarms were requested to be treated, and that she would ask Dave (owner) about my two quires on shine and treatment of underarms. I received a voicemail from Dave asking for me to call him, and I did. He said if there was something about the shine of the garment that was off it wasn't because of anything that they had done (red flag, defensive stance in statement, and you're not supposed to do anything to the shine except maintain it). He then said that they treat the underarms of garments on a one to one bases. That's fine for some materials, but not all. If it's silk, cashmere, and some wools, you need to do it. It's not a matter of sweat, as much as the chemicals that make up most deodorants, will damage the color and integrity of the fabric through normal wear. That's why most dry cleaners charge $5-$7, or more, when cleaning specialty fabrics. You have to do more work. After telling me these two things Dave went on to say that he wasn't sure he could satisfy my needs as a dry cleaner and that I might want to keep looking for other places that might be more suited for my needs, he didn't want to risk my dissatisfaction with their service. Now he might have had a point, had I raised any of the objections I mentioned above, but at this point in the telephone conversation I hadn't said anything yet. He had gotten on the phone, answered my two questions, and then told me I might want to try somewhere else. I had only wanted answers to two questions, and he had already taken a defensive stand point, and I hadn't even raised any objections or issues to the answers he provided to my questions. I wasn't given the opportunity to respond before being suggested to go elsewhere. That's insulting. So at that point I was upset and offended. I had two questions, I thought they would be answered and that would be it, I didn't expect to be basically told to take my business elsewhere. Dave's response was that he hadn't said I should take my business elsewhere, but that's basically what he was saying as a suggestion, implication, and "opinion," just not a statement in those exact words. After his "perhaps you should keep trying other places in the Corona area that might better satisfy your needs" I wonder what he would have said if I had responded "no I'd rather keep going here." I doubt he would have said alright to that, since he was virtually saying I should go elsewhere, just not explicitly. I had only wanted some questions answered, I wasn't satisfied or dissatisfied with the services rendered yet, because I was still forming a conclusion and an opinion on whether I wanted to continue to patronize their shop.
