I recently used Empire Laundry Service (also known as Black Tie Commercial Laundry), and they outsourced my order to City Cleaners. I had sent in a 3-piece navy suit, a 2-piece beige suit, and a Brand Q floral pocket square handkerchief. Everything came back except the pocket square. When I followed up, Patrick from Empire told me to go directly to City Cleaners. Once I arrived, the young man working there tried to hand me an old, worn white pocket square, insisting it was mine. It was clearly not mine--I had the matching tie set to prove it. What was most disappointing is that he never apologized; instead, he kept trying to convince me that the white pocket square belonged to me, which was simply not the case. Thankfully, an older gentleman (who seemed more like a father figure) came from the back, located my actual floral pocket square, and gave it back to me. Without his intervention, I doubt I would have received it. I was relieved to get my item back, but the situation was frustrating and avoidable. My rating reflects the poor judgment and lack of accountability from the younger staff member. I would have given a zero-star review if not for the elder who resolved the issue. If you use this service, be very cautious and make sure to double-check your items. read more

I have been going there for approximately one year now. I have NEVER had to return one item. They all come out perfect! Bonus...the owners always remember my name when I walk in the store....! True! So I've never used a dry cleaner before but I'm entering the part of my life where I'm collecting nice enough clothes that need to be dry cleaned. And that's when I decided to do a sort of "battle of the dry cleaners" and take 1 garment each to several of the local corona dry cleaners to see which one I liked best. I went to 11 in all and City Cleaners was pretty good. I took a dress here and was charged $7.60 which was the 2nd cheapest out of all the cleaners so I'm very happy about that. It was ready by 3 days and it was cleaned and pressed to my satisfaction. The clerk was friendly too. Definitely one of the most affordable dry cleaners in Corona! read more

He went on saying "For the price I charged you that's the type of results you'll get!". Unbelievable! I could not believe my ears. Then he said there are twenty more dry cleaners, have them do your shirts from now on. They constantly leave double lines on my dress shirts. I've been brining my husbands clothes faithfully to this place atleast twice a week for the past couple months. On one occasion the owner handed me an extra pair of pants and said check if they are your husbands and charged me for it come to find it they weren't so he discounted time the second time for the inconvenience. Just recently he gave me the wrong pants I told his employee to have him call me and one week later no call. I show up and he's already being rude telling me oh I tell you the story what don't you understand I said it might be your husbands? Okay what about these seconds pair? Where are my pants? Brought in a few items for cleaning. Later in the week picked up my clothes and half the items were still stained and the worst part was that I had taken in a new sweater with a small stain but when I got it back the sweater was cleaned so much that the color faded and left a white spot. Came back in to let them know they ruined the sweater , they told me the owner would give me a call. Two weeks went by and no call. Went back in and was told the same thing. Another two weeks went by and still no call. Decided to call when owner was in the shop and was told he would give me a call by the end of the day. Another two weeks went by and no call. Decided to go in person to talk to the owner and was told that I needed a receipt... who the fuck saves receipts from a year ago??? Then was told he would only give me 40$ for a 120$ sweater ??? I didn't have the receipt so went with the 40 and they still said I can't get my sweater back. Worst dry cleaners ever. Come here if you want dirty clothes and ruined sweaters!! read more

I've had horrible experiences with other dry cleaners before, my biggest pet peeve is when you ask them if they can remove a stain and they immediately say no without even attempting to remove it. This is not the case here. Either they have some super secret family stain remover or they're just hard workers. They were able to remove set in spaghetti sauce from a work blouse AND blue coloring on my white blouse which was there as a result of tucking in my white blouse into new navy slacks. They are very kind also, I mentioned how surprised I was that upon asking them about being able to lift the stain that they had given me a yes answer and Kenny (I think that was his name) said "of course I will try! Why wouldn't I?" He swore he would try his hardest because it's his job. One other thing to add, when they press your clothing here after it's cleaned, it's pressed properly, like all of the lines in the correct spots, some cleaners are just lazy and think pressing is pressing and don't care if the press is a little off. My clothes always look brand new after I get them done here. Super satisfied, honestly I think they are some sort of dry cleaning wizards lol. I would drive a far distance to come here. read more
