Raleigh Mortgage Group single handedly saved our homebuying process, and my biggest regret is not…read morestarting with them. We first connected with Alayna Weaver from Raleigh Mortgage Group during the preapproval process, while we were comparing rates among lenders. We eventually got a rate too good to pass up from a large commercial bank and went with them, thanking RMG for their help. The loan process from this bank ended up being a complete disaster, where problems arose last minute over things we should have been told weeks earlier. With closing coming up, and our trust in the bank fully broken after a week of fruitless back-and-forth, we decided to get our mortgage elsewhere, but it needed to be fast. I reconnected with Alayna, who gave us a sanity check by confirming the bank was being ridiculous, and snapped into action to help us. Within 36 hours, we had a fantastic rate in hand and were set up with a mortgage processor. Each time we ran into a problem, Alayna - who was readily available via text, phone, and email - as well as others at RMG (Hayley Jackson) and the processing team (Corry O'Neill and Kristina Polson) provided alternate choices or simply solved the problem. We closed on time and have our house, and we have them to thank. There are two morals here: 1. Commercial banks won't lift a finger to help you originate a mortgage, so only apply with them if you feel lucky. 2. If you need a mortgage in North Carolina, call Raleigh Mortgage Group.

He gives great customer service, is very knowledgeable, and does an exceptional job. I recently closed on a transaction where this was evident. I sold a house that needed a lot of renovations and was facing foreclosure. The buyers for the house were using a different lender and were going to terminate, because their lender couldn't get the loan done. I immediately called Michael hoping to salvage the transaction. The seller needed to sell quickly in order to avoid foreclosure and get the equity from his home. Michael told me he could get the deal done and I referred him over to the buyers and their agent. Michael was in fact able to close the loan and quickly. He saved the day for me, my client, the buyers' agent and the buyers.
