Let's start with the positive - the Lemon Tree roll was fresh and delicious. Unfortunately, the service was slow - my husband and I both ordered a roll and his came out at the very end when we were about to pay the bill. We ordered shishito peppers (we have had them other places before) and it was so spicy that I think there is a permanent hole in my stomach. I asked the waiter to take it back and we still got charged. Overall the rolls were good, but the service is lacking.

Hubby and I ordered 4 rolls st Sato Sushi. We were waiting and smelled something burning. Ewww smelled nasty. They served burnt food

Husband was served burnt roLL at Sato sushi. It was gross. We had to say " please take that off our bill. It was gross AND THEY SERVED IT. The waitress and chef tried to pass it off. It SMELLED...THE WHOLE PLACE SMELLED BURNT. YUK quality has gone down. They should have just remade the roll . Husband was still hungry even though I shared my roll. Bad lunch, never going back. Oh ya..they offered us an ice cream . Nope just got OUT

From service to food our dinner was amazingly good. The restaurant wasn't packed but busy. We were seated instantly and our food came out quick. The ambiance was nice and my son's favorite part was ringing the gong.

I havent had the best experiences when it comes to sushi spots out in Palmdale / Lancaster but Sato Sushi is quite alright. Dont go looking for unique dishes here but the normal fare is decent. I grabbed an early dinner on Saturday before a show. This spot had a good amount of seating at 5pm. Service was friendly and attentive. The iced green tea was quite refreshing. Free refills. I ordered Heart Attack, Yellowtail collar, Super Man Burrito, Monkey Brain, Edamame, Sato Special roll and baked green mussels. First off the portions of the Heart attack, Monkey brain are larger than normal. Good but not great but far from bad. Sato Special roll was good. And is a great option for a no rice roll. Not really sauced up. The fish wasnt fishy at all. They sprinkle a hint of Tajin around which goes well. The superman burrito was good. Although I wish they would give you a dipping sauce side of the spicy mayo instead of a couple of lines. No worries though. Solid choice for no rice option and quite tasty. The yellowtail collar was good as well. Probably more on the overcooked side but still good. Seasoning was a basic salt n pepper. Dipping sauce is a chili oil + ponzu. THe baked green mussels were solid too. Large in size. Good may and green onion toppings. What I liked about this is that it didnt have excessive water from baking which can make it messy like other places do. Everything was decent at Sato. Glad I choose here.

First time at Sato Sushi, Jason was our sushi specialist.. omg the flavor of the sauce was amazing as well as the fish was fresh . The oyster were delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone in town.

2026/02 Ok I HIGHLY recommend sushi for Vday. We wanted to…read moresteer away from the traditional steak and chicken and try something we know we love: we were not disappointed... no hassle.... No RSVP... we literally walked in at 5pm and sat down. Once we did it became busy. The rest. Was full. We ate good, had good conversation. KIRO made our rolls tonight and the did not disappoint. Shout out to the neighbor by us having me try the house sauce... highly recommend if you like it spicy. Oh man still very full and so happy. Thx Red salmon staff- Happy Vday! 2026/01 Best 1st date night of the year with my husband. Service was so great we sat at the bar got complimentary edamame. The sushi was so fresh it melted in my mouth I highly recommend the lollipop for a freshness of flavor. I come here so much.

I was really disappointed with my experience here. We…read morearrived at 2:53 PM and were told to sit anywhere. No one came to take our order until 3:00 PM--which, conveniently, is when the lunch special ends. When I brought this up, I was told no, which felt unfair since the delay wasn't our fault. We ordered a dinner box with 3 fresh rolls and 3 baked rolls. The baked rolls came out fairly quickly, but we waited about 40 minutes for the dinner box. When I asked the waitress, she said "2 minutes." Five minutes later, I asked another waiter, and he said "5 minutes." In my family, we don't start eating until everyone has their food, so our baked rolls just sat there getting cold for about 20 minutes. I did bring up my concerns, but nothing was done to resolve the situation. At the very least, I expected some kind of gesture--maybe a small discount or even a complimentary dessert. Unfortunately, this experience left a bad impression, and I won't be coming back.
