Small and no frills place. Chhole Bhature is definitely worth coming back for. Rotis are nice and soft. Dahi Vada and Mushroom matar masala could definitely be better.

Comfort food. We came for dining in here after many years. Eating hot naan and hot curries on a cold day is an experience in itself. Unanimous winner was Palak Paneer! My personal favorite is Baingan Bhartha. Unlike many other restaurants around, they dont use a lit of cream in their curries, so the curries taste flavorful. It is a small place, but could fit us a group of 6.

Place was recommended to me by my general physician who is Indian. Phoned up August 12, 430pm and ordered $16 chicken korma, $16 chicken makhani, $14 bengan bhartha, each with a choice of naan or basmati rice. Took 50 minutes for my order to be ready at 522pm, and had to make a U turn onto bumper to bumper El Camino Real rush hour traffic 2 miles back to my house. The chicken korma and chicken makhani were curry dishes, spicy and full of flavors, with a decent amount of chicken. Went well over cooked cauliflower. The bengan bhartha is cooked eggplant, chopped and pulverized. Among the best eggplant dishes I have ever tasted, Indian or Chinese. Wife's favorite. Phoned up October19 430pm, and found out they were no longer serving meat dishes, only vegetarian dishes. Ordered the $14 bengan bhartha, the $14 Malai Kofa, and the $14 Navrattan Korma, the last two with plenty of vegetables in a spicy curry sauce. Combined them with the naan that came with the dishes. In the future, will order dishes from this place only after eating Costco chicken. Will combine the leftover rotisserie chicken breasts with the vegetarian curry dishes to satisfy my carnivore cravings.

I enjoy stopping by this place when I'm craving some fresh, piping hot, North Indian curries and bread(naan/ roti). Tried the chhole kulche and paneer bhurjee with roti. Food is yummy and service is very friendly and welcoming. They have plenty of parking but limited seating (indoor only). I also like karhai paneer. This is now a vegetarian only food joint!

This is a small location but the food has big flavor. I picked up a paneer wrap from here and it was great! The lady at the front was super nice. She seemed genuinely concerned that I asked for no spicy sauce and said she would pack some on the side just in case I changed my mind. They also cut and packed the wrap in two pieces to make it easier to eat which was very thoughtful. Appears to be family run which always gets extra points from me.

Super Delicious !! I would say this was the best Chole-Kulche we had yesterday as of now

This place was highly recommended and has great reviews. Overall good flavors but nothing that blows my socks off. I also feel like it's not great value. Butter chicken -- solid flavor but my fiancé said mine is better. It came with chopped up tandoori chicken where the chicken had red coloring. I feel like there's probably only 1 thigh worth of heat. Rogan Josh -- sauce is tasty but also very little meat. Meat is very tender . Tandoori shrimp -- this was probably the next value dish. It came with about a dozen prawns! Good and tenders. Some pieces were a little mushy. Onion naan -- also solid but lacked onions, very little onions in the center. Good place for solid Indian food but nothing extraordinary .

    Garlic naan. So good

Amazing food but plan ahead, they get crazy busy and the wait times can be long. It's well worth it though. Delicious!

One of my favorite places to go to in South Bay. Sadly they are fully vegetarian now. Your chicken Makhani will be missed

Tonight I was craving a home style chicken and rice dish similar to what my mom makes . Now I know it's not possible to get that from a restaurant, but the closest to that is the Donne biryani preparation that a few places offer in the Bay Area. So I looked up Yelp and found this spot. The fact that it already had 4.9 stars was reassuring but I didn't put too many expectations on it. But what I did was call the place and make sure they'd be open by the time I made that 28 mile drive. I spoke to a person named Sagar who took my order and told me to take my time getting there and drive carefully! Husband and I got there around 9:30pm and it's a cloud kitchen setup with kitchens in the back and a point of sale kiosk and counter at the front. As instructed I called Sagar and he came up to the counter with my food, and also let me know he had added a free dessert since I drove all the way from Hayward . Husband and I got home and immediately dug in and what can I say, the flavors totally took me back to my mom's kitchen. The Donne biryani was bursting with taste, and what made it superb was that the flavors were in balance, with neither the spices nor the aromatics being overpowering in any way. The other dish, the pepper chicken was epic by itself, and should have been enjoyed with a bread of some sort, because the biryani didn't need any accompaniment. As if this meal wasn't divine enough the cherry on top was the pineapple kesari dessert that Sagar kindly added to our takeout bag. Thanks Nalapaka, for a taste of home, away from home !

It has officially become our family's go-to dinner spot, and for good reason--they truly never miss a beat. The Standout Dishes The menu is a celebration of authentic flavors. Some of our absolute favorites include: Millet Dosa: Perfectly crisp and a great healthy alternative. Mini Idli Podi: Bite-sized bursts of flavor with the perfect spice blend. Pesarattu: Authentically prepared and incredibly satisfying. The Pro Tip: The real star of the show is the ginger chutney served with the Dosae. It is the perfect zesty accompaniment that ties the whole meal together. Service & Atmosphere Beyond the food, the service is exceptionally efficient. Even during busy dinner rushes, the staff is attentive and ensures that nothing is overlooked. It's rare to find a place that feels this consistent and welcoming. I had not had this item in over couple decades, ordered for takeout for later evening meal. However, best to have it hot and fresh when served.‍ All items were adequate, tasty and spice level is slightly on higher side..in case if you prefer mild. There was plenty of outdoor seating, and the service was speedy. You order on a kiosk, which makes for a streamlined ordering process. The food is always solid - I love all of their thali selections. This location was much more peaceful compared to the Palo Alto location. I stopped by on a Saturday evening, and there were only a couple tables that were occupied. I will say I feel like the portion sizes here are noticeably smaller than those at the Palo Alto location. This might be because all of the orders are packed to-go, so maybe there's less space for food? For instance, the thali from the Palo Alto location includes a side salad, which was not included in my order here. The other sides (pickled salad and daal lentil), along with the entree, were also significantly smaller here. The prices are the same, so I do think the Palo Alto dishes are more worth it.
