Nice French style bistro in a quiet neighborhood of Jersey City. The lunch menu is somewhat limited, but had several interesting options. I went with the lamb burger, which was very good. It was cooked medium rare and was juicy and flavorful. The pickles, onions and sauce were also amazing and it was an extremely satisfying burger. I only wish it was bigger because I wanted more!

I stopped into this restaurant for a quick lunch! We were greeted when we walked in. We were served by a nice guy I think was the owner. I ordered the lamb burger and it came out in about 15 minutes. I also had a Mimosa! I enjoyed the lamb burger! All in all a good experience!

Beautiful ambiance at this American/italian restaurant. Located on Washington St of JC, parking may be a bit difficult to find depending on the day of week/time of day. There are 2 entrances- one brings you downstairs to the bar. This is a small space with a row of barstools. The second entrance on the other side is for the main restaurant. I tried the Negroni cocktail, burrata app, and pappardelle bolognese. Everything tasted amazing and I def will be returning.

Lovely local restaurant in JC. Reservation is recommended if you have a big group. Nice and relaxing vibe inside. They have a heavy curtain at the door so cool air won't come in directly (very thoughtful). The waiter is attentive and very friendly. I have steak (medium) and egg. It's cooked beautifully. Great flavor. I don't like their unsweetened ice tea; it tastes burned to me. But other than that, everything is great. It's good for friends/family gathering.

Cool spot to grab a dinner in Jersey City. The interior certainly gives off a European vibe. I was a big fan of the partially exposed brick wall. We ordered the following items: 1) Patatas Bravas: this was a solid choice. Got a nice kick with the aioli. 2) Brussel Sprouts: this was okay. I think the cheese overpowered it a bit. 3) Burrata Basil Linguine: this was pretty good. Not a terribly large serving, but enough for 2. Service was decently quick, especially considering we also ordered a couple glasses of wine with our meals. I think I'd come back again.

Halibut, Gnocchi, the Double Beef, Seasonal Squash and Salmon. Truffle Fries, and the Brussels Sprouts Appy. Of course some cocktails. Service was pretty good and the food was same as service. Really a nice setting. All and all a six stars, since there was six of us. We were a bit early. Nice bar too.

Came here for brunch and had the short rib sandwich. We were seated immediately. Overall the sandwich was as ok, but was very light on meat so it was a lot of bread that I was eating; definitely not worth the money. The fries were standard run of the mill fries. Service wise, I can't recall our waitress checking on us.

While on a stroll we passed this place and decided that moment we'd return for dinner. Euro style bistro, we enjoyed the outdoor dining area. For dinner we started with the burrata, excellent choice. I warmed up with rosé and my husband had Pinot noir. My husband got a pasta dish, Pappardelle Bolognese- delish! I tasted it...3x. I got a special, a tuna and quinoa dish (see photo) it was good, intriguing flavors...I do wish it were hot, but that's a personal preference and the taste was still fantastic. The service was nice, very much a communal effort, as I couldn't really tell who our assigned waiter was- but we were taken care of. Thank you to the hostess. They were very prompt and compassionate accommodating and walk-in couple w/ baby and doggo.

Finally got a chance to come back to Satis for a weekend lunch after couple of years. This time we sat inside. Got to see their super comfy seating area. They had the brunch menu that had appetizers, salads, sandwiches, egg dishes and drinks. I got the salmon burger that was very well made. Loved all the ingredients it came with. Also tried the chicken cutlet sandwich. It was decent with good fries on the side. The service was fine, food came out within a shot time. Overall it was a delightful lunch for us.

Came here for dinner last night and the outdoor space is great. Perfect setting for an outdoor dinner. Definitely recommend getting a reservation because it was very busy on a Friday night. The staff was great! Our order was taken promptly and whenever we asked for something (an extra spoon, plate, etc) it was handled quickly. Moving onto the food.. it's exactly what you'd expect from a restaurant that's been around for over 15 years. Heavy and boring. I really enjoyed the "truffle roasted organic half chicken" but the amount of green beans was a little pathetic (that's like the cheapest part lol don't skimp out on it!) and there was not even a single hint of truffle - but the skin was crisped insanely well! Really good. The ribeye that two people got was very fatty but overall good. The fries were lacking salt. We also got the bruschetta and Brussels sprouts as appetizers and the Brussels sprouts were insanely disappointing. It was weird.. it's just the leaves of the sprouts. There were no actual bulbs of sprouts or anything so it tasted like we were eating very oily paper lol. The little toasts with fig and prosciutto were good. I think they put Boursin cheese on them. The sangria was good. Overall, the bill for 4 people was around $280. It's unfortunate that mediocre food at such a high price point is ok when you can take a 10 min train to the city and have an amazing dining experience for around the same price or less. Food is ok, not worth the price. Staff is great, atmosphere is great.

Very cute and cozy restaurant in downtown Jersey City. I highly recommend making a reservation, it was packed on a Saturday night. I loved the atmosphere. It was very warm and inviting and the decor was really neat. The service was great. Our waiter was super friendly and so was the rest of the staff taking care of us. They were very attentive. As far as the food goes, it was delicious! We started with the potatos bravas and a special they had that evening of lamb osso bucco over polenta. The potatos came out piping hot and were crispy. The lamb was incredible. Some of the best polenta I've ever had. I had the salmon as my entree and my boyfriend had the halibut. Both were great, full of flavor, and nice portions. I can't wait to come back and try their brunch menu!

    Housemade Ricotta Gnocchi

The food was tasty and flavorful. I had their homemade gnocchi. I was a little disappointed because the serving was ridiculously small for the price. My friend got a regular pasta dish and her portion was normal sized for the price. I would recommend they increase the number of gnocchi for the price. However, their dessert was some of the best dessert I've ever had. I got the pistachio cheesecake and OH MY was it amazing. The crust was made of crushed pistachios and the whip cream on top!!! Wow! Best whip cream I've ever had. Service was excellent and the vibes were immaculate.

I am SO glad we did. The vibe drew us in, they had great music bumpin from the outside, it looked lively and welcoming. Let me tell you- I would have skipped dinner and just stayed here all evening if it was my choice! But alas, my husband wanted a bit more to eat. But let me tell you- their knowledge of wine is PRISTINE! I can't tell you what white wine we had but they captured our tastes perfectly. We also shared a bruschetta and it was deliciouso! First I'll start with the wine - we ended up trying all three happy hour wines (HH until 7), which the tables favorites were the white and we ended up getting a bottle to split once HH ended (but I really enjoyed the other vino verde option). It was incredibly refreshing and paired well with the many tinned fish options. As you'd expect - it's a pretty massive selection and there is bound to be a varietal and glass for any palate. It's also attached to a wine store - so it's fine to see all the bottles when peaking over. Food-wise - this is where it was hit or miss, they have a pretty extensive menu (with a whole tinned fish section!) and we ended up ordering the buratta on focaccia (buratta was excellent, focaccia was too dense for my tastes), mushroom truffle crostini (way too salty), the flatbread with sliced kielbasa (was fine), halloume (table favorite ), tinned sardines in lemon oil (delicious), tinned smoked trout (my favorite). Overall the four of us were very full at the end of the meal! The space itself felt very relaxing and rustic, and definitely got busier as the night went on (we got there at 6:50 and left around 9). The service was also fast and attentive - even for the amount of tables they were serving. Overall - I'd definitely go back again, and maybe just focus on the wine and another tinned fish selection!

Thank you to my lovely friend who spent who knows how long trying to get a reservation here. Chilled celtuce (4/5): is it a combination of celery and lettuce? idk but it kinda reminded me of radish, with a clean/slightly bland flavor but it had this hydrating quality to it and a nice crunch. Sesame shao bing (5/5): a literal drug in the most innocuous and tasty form of flatbread. It has the crispiest flake on the outside with a perfectly chewy doughiness to it and a literal slab of butter inside, which melts in real time (careful not to go too ham and let it dribble down your arms and get all over your clothes...because it's just THAT good). Sweet & sour short rib (4/5): the cook on these short ribs were super tender, I just think the marinade was very strong, with a particularly vinegary aroma. Eight treasure rice pudding with sticky toffee (4/5): she's a 4 only because I don't like toffee, but the rice pudding was hands down heavenly. Service was solid, and they have a chic, dim ambience for the tables inside whereas the outdoor seating sits underneath the lanterns and soaks up the streets of Chinatown, so each have a merit of its own.

Walked in at 8pm on a Wednesday and was able to sit right away for a limited time (1.5hrs), which was plenty for us. It's small, as most places in NYC are, and dark & intimate. They also have shared tables, so we sat with another couple. Huge wine selection. Everything we ate was delicious. To me, the Celtuce is more of a novelty - cool, yummy, fresh but small. The crudo was the same thing. So in my opinion, I don't think it's worth the money. The noodles were so good we got 2 orders of it - you cannot skip!! The dessert was also unlike anything I've had before. If you love sticky rice and caramel/toffee, you have to try it. Overall, I do think it was very expensive but the ambiance + some of the dishes were well worth it. I'd definitely come back.
