YP salad, focaccia and the persimmon salad
Jennifer C.

Came on a Monday night and it was decently busy but we didn't have any issues getting a table. Since we had our dog we sat outside. They have some tables by heaters but we weren't able to snag one. Service was very friendly right off the bat. They came by and explained their natural approach to wine and the local food. Everything is sourced from the local farmers market that happens in Santa Barbara which was awesome. We got two glasses of wine and we were able to try them before committing. For food we got the focaccia, the YP salad and the persimmon salad. The star is definitely the focaccia. Different than other kinds in that this one is more dense but still really good thyme/rosemary flavor and the the crust is still crispy while the inside is really moist and soft. The garlic/balsamic they serve with it is delicious and perfectly cooked to be spreadable like butter. Both of the salads were good but we liked the YP salad for the contrasting textures and the good amount of acidity the dish had. The roasted roots made it more substantial too.

Vegan Al Pastor Tacos
Dominique M.

These cauliflower al pastor tacos were delicious! The pineapple and creme were the perfect combination of sweet and spice. The restaurant had a vibey atmosphere with a great music selection. The service was ok, they checked on us once and took a little while to get them to come back around to us.

Potato salad

They exceeded my expectations. I really enjoyed their cauliflower tacos and the focaccia with the garlic balsamic dipping sauce. I was looking for small bites to eat and this really hit the spot. I took the leftovers home and enjoyed them as well. The kombucha on tap is really good. The service was good, they checked on us quite often. Every time we needed help the server was there right away. It's hip on the inside but I opted to sit outside because the inside was dark since a bar lounge interior.

Grilled cheese Non-alcoholic drink Hazy IPA Olives Broccolini
Kacey C.

Stopped here for a light bite - chose it because of its central location and its Non-alcoholic drink options. Really enjoyed all the food items we ordered: The grilled cheese The castelvetrano olives And the broccolini They also sell wine - large wall of options and a fridge in the back as well with cold drinks.

Outdoor seating
Ashley Y.

The building is easy to find, parking isn't too easy to find tho. The interior is pretty nice and there is also outside seating. We sat outside because it was quieter. They have blankets for you to use when dining outside. The server was very nice and professional. We tried a few things - focaccia with garlic spread 5/5, potato salad 4/5 , and cauliflower tacos 4/5. They could use more seasoning and way more dishes. Everything is plant based and most vegan restaurants in the area closed, they should use that to their advantage by offering way more food options but most of their menu is booze. We ordered non alcoholic yuzu kombucha 5/5. I recommend going here to try it out and I hope that they add more food items to the menu. The dessert menu was super basic and uninteresting, I hope they improve that in the future as well.

I mean, the food is really good here, ofcourse it has such good ratings! Walking in, the unassuming exterior made me a little skeptical. They've outdoor street facing seatings mainly and some indoor and bar space. It's open and bright but in stark contrast to the super trendy restaurants nearby. This wine bar specializes in a small farmers market focused menu so it felt fitting we landed here for lunch after strolling through the certified farmers market a block away. We tried their vermouth and aperol spritz, lentil bolognese, grilled cheese, tacos, olive oil cake, and yuzu snap pea fennel salad. It's hard to pick BUT my fav was the bright light salad and cake topped with fresh in season SB strawberries. My partner devoured the lentils. Service was great, people were kind. Day was beautiful. Somethings to consider - weekend lunches probably are best time right after farmers market visits, so you can better appreciate the plate you're being served. Parking is awful in SB downtown, kimptons lot has 75 min free so maybe start there.

I stopped by Satellite SB on a beautiful afternoon for some drinks, and it was the perfect place to unwind. The cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent natural wine selection made the experience even better. It's a great spot to relax in Santa Barbara's Arts District. So very yum. Vegan upscale comfort food- Mac n cheese was my fav. Unique flavors , friendly staff and dog friendly. I took my hubs there for his bday. And our dog, shanti. I had a Santa Barbara Pinot noir that I loved.

Yoga Pants Salad - Yoga Pants Salad

Super excited for the luxury of ordering from a vegan/vegetarian menu. Got the yoga pants salad, the focaccia bread, giant beans, roasted broccoli and the olive cake. I found the yoga pants salad to be really one-dimensional. I wish it had more components like pickled onion, some crunch, some herbs etc. For $22, I expected something delicious, but it was just ok. Beans were too bitter - perhaps owing the olive oil. We struggled to finish this. Roasted broccoli was more fried, oily but delicious because we love fried broccoli. Focaccia was really good. The balsamic confit was delicious! No protein sources in any of our dishes. Was cold outdoors, they didn't turn on the heaters, we should have asked. Overall happy we tried it once, wish food was tastier, more creative and less bland.

Street tacos and focaccia.
Don E.

Wow! Glanced at menu and wanted to sit in the sun on State St. for lunch. Turns out the food is all vegetarian and EXCELLENT! I had the street tacos that were overstuffed a grilled cauliflower. The focaccia was superb, lightly toasted convenient bread squares. Combined with the great calm but attentive service, this place is a winner.

So so happy we last minute popped in while in town. Came up when I searched for good bubbly. Mom had bubbly and I had a tasty spritz. Ended up getting fantastic apps too. I've literally been dreaming about the focaccia and beans. Like, do you ship?? Kidding not kidding..

Ok spritz $15 or $17?

Super cute wine bar in Santa Barbara. I loved the drinks and the food is amazing. The only thing that I have a problem with was the little bowls they serve some food or soup in. They were extremely chipped. I feel like I could be eating paint or chipped metal.

Great spot in downtown SB with natural wines and plant based food. Order at the counter, service is fast and watch everyone walk by :) Food was great, and fresh, look forward to visiting again. Tip: make sure to get one of the delicious cookies

It was toward the end of the day. A little tasting before dinner never hurts anyone. Plus it was nice to share the experience with some friends that haven't been before. Perfect day to sit outside with the heatwave. Also nice to start with a little bubbly. Their wine selections from Sonoma and Napa as well the coast were all amazing. We did the sunset sip which their wine offering was great. All their white, red as well as rose and bubbles were great. Rich bold and full of notes. The place is perfect as it located right in the heart of town. Just minutes from the pier and part of the hotel. So people watching is great. They also serve food which comes from the restaurant next door. A snack with your tasting or a pairing. Each visit has always been great. A nice relaxing and mellow tasting experience. The choices of wine are always excellent. Plus it's nice to taste other wines from the sister wineries versus wine just from one. Casey, took good care of us this time.

This really is the perfect place for both wine AND food…read more So far we've been in a couple times sitting in the bar area and also out on their comfy patio space. Our servers Alex and Kayla were exceptional at both suggesting some delicious lunch items, and also giving a rundown on their different wine tastings. They gave us some helpful information on the assorted varietals and vintages as well. We went in specifically for their M5 and Riviera Rose, but discovered their extensive selection of other varietals and vintages. Came away with some new favorites: Sauvignon Blanc, Trois Blondes (a delicious white blend), Viognier, Mourvedre, and Estate Syrah. Perfect that they open at noon for lunch. We paired our wines with their Santa Barbara Smokehouse Salmon, Smoked Duck and Arugula Salad, Chicken Pesto Sandwich, and Sausage Mushroom & Carmelized Onion Pizza. Still so much on their menu to enjoy.

It was chilly so she tried to light the heat lamp at my request but both that one and the replacement did not work. The replacement actually had the propane disconnected so I assume someone knew that tank needed to be changed out but didn't do it. The other tables from the large party were full of wine glasses and a half eaten pizza. Those sat there for over an hour, and we watched several groups of people come but leave without being seated because no server was available yo seat them and the only open table hadn't been cleared. When it was finally cleared, one guest at a near by table commented that the pizza shouldn't go to waste. The girl who cleared the table initially carried it inside but came right back out with it and served it to that guest whose kid ate it. I'm all for not wasting food and if the guest had gotten up and grabbed the pizza himself, that would be one thing... but to serve old food that had been sitting out for a long time to a guest is a no no for a business. We otherwise enjoyed most of the wines in our tasting flight. Would've given 5 stars if service had been more timely, tables cleared and old food not served up.

In a stretch of Lower State packed with breweries, wine bars, and roaming weekend energy-drink humans in vintage bowling shirts, it threads the needle nicely between cocktail bar and tropical escape pod. The menu leans tiki-adjacent rather than deep-cut exotica, but the drinks are smartly built and avoid the "every problem can be solved with more rum" philosophy. There's a solid spread of spirits across the board, which makes the place feel more welcoming to a broader nightlife crowd instead of strictly rum disciples clutching vintage Trader Vic's mugs. The Oaxacan Dead was the standout for me. Smoky, balanced, endlessly sippable. One of those drinks where every sip quietly talks you into ordering another without turning into a sugar avalanche. The Jungle Bird was also great, though presented more in the direction of a Negroni than the punchier tropical versions you usually see. Bitter, restrained, and easy to settle into. Crowd-wise, things tilted a little frat-floaty as the night rolled on, but the staff handled everything smoothly and kept the vibe from turning into full pirate mutiny. Service stayed friendly and composed even when the volume of the room started climbing like a malfunctioning theremin. Big bonus points for the location and outdoor seating. Being right in the middle of Lower State makes it an easy launch point or final stop depending on your evening trajectory. Grab a drink, people-watch, drift between breweries and wine spots, repeat as necessary.
