Ehhhh 6/10 the combos weren't for my tasted buds

This place was fun and cute! They play sports games on multiple TV's and there are a lot of games, which would be fun for a date or social day. Sad the photobook didn't work. Food was decent. Shrimp ceviche was good. Bruschetta toast was on cheap bread. If the bread was better these would have been better, in my opinion. Drinks were excellent. I was sold by the sangrias. Service is okay, go up to the bar and order everything and they will bring it to you.

Cool spot with lots of old school games like ski ball and driver arcade games. Old school ambiance. Ordered the burrata and it was so tasty. Had a $6 Paso Robles glass of wine since it was happy hour! Great prices! Great service too.

What a fun and cute place! This place (prior to COVID) was always so busy, so never had chance to try this place out. I finally got to try this place during COVID, and this was an awesome place to hang out! They had a lot of selections for Frozes, and Chambong (champaign bong.. lol). I ended up with their mojito seltzer. Good beer selection, but wished they had more (and better) wine selection. Their wine selection was pretty limited to central coast, and as a central coast native, I wanted to see more international wines. I didn't get to try the food - but I liked that they separated the menus by the serving size! I love anything potato -- and the have potatoes! (tots, fries, etc...) We came here right after our amazing dinner at Bibi Ji (next door to Wine Therapy - highly recommend!). We sat at their inside space, but their patio and the front was nicely set up with heaters. I think the prices for the drinks are okay -- for the atmosphere, and the location of the place. If you are looking for parking - this place is right in front of the Paseo - so park there! 75 minutes free!

Big Stick (like the popsicle) & Lavendar Lemonade Froze!

Super cute wine bar with interesting and delicious froze flavors and amazing service. I loved the bar interior and decor, which were very hipster and fun. Unfortunately the covid bans were still in place when I went to Santa Barbara last weekend so I couldn't enjoy my drinks inside. They have a back patio which was pretty spacious and functional, just not as cute as their bar interior. Lol. I really liked this place because they had interesting and unique froze flavors. And they have amazing service. I first ordered a Lavendar lemonade froze but I didn't particularly like it so I was able to change it to their Big Stick flavor. Like the popsicle, it had pineapple, orange, and something else I don't remember, but either way it was delicious. ********************* My Ratings: 1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return. 3 Stars: Meh. Average. Might return if others drag me. 4 Stars: Yum! Will definitely return. 5 Stars: Amazing! Would plan my day around eating here

Went to Santa Barbara for the day to go to the beach. Before heading home I found this place online and decided to check it out. Any place that has a doggie menu is always a huge plus. I ordered a Peach Bellini froze and it was delicious! We also ordered the panela tacos and the sweet board. Both we good. We came with not much of an appetite so I would like to go back to try more food. We got Vader the "good boy" which is beef and rice. We sat on the patio which was empty but a great ambience. A really cute place that I was surprised was so empty. Also a plus for the French bulldog sign in the bathroom! :)

We came for the frosé but stayed for the environment! Nice, spacious indoor area with a chill vibe, not to mention a nice variety of both wine and beer to try. They had several flavors of frosé as well. I had the peach Bellini which was tasty and perfect for a hot day. Even at night ( which was when I stopped by), it was still refreshing. The back patio has lights strung up, plentiful benches and lounging chairs, as well as corn hole. This place is also dog friendly with many owners and their pups.

    Big stick frose...amazing!!!

    Is it dog friendly?

No kids, but yes bring your dogs, always welcome.

    Are kids allowed?

Wouldn't see why not? They also have an out door patio area out back and you can Uber food to the restaurant as well or bring food in.

I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about the entire experience. We were looking for a laid-back and unique venue, and Brass Bear absolutely delivered. From start to finish, the team (especially Emily!) went above and beyond to make our day perfect. The space itself is welcoming and full of character, while also feeling elevated and thoughtfully designed. We actually saved a lot on decor because the venue was already so beautiful on its own. The top things that really set Brass Bear apart (aside from the space itself) were the staff and the food/drinks. The staff -- Every single person we worked with was kind, responsive, professional, and genuinely invested in making sure everything ran smoothly and that it was truly the party of our dreams. They were incredibly accommodating, handled logistics seamlessly, and anticipated needs before we even had to ask. It honestly felt like they cared about our wedding just as much as we did. Also throughout the evening, on their own, the amazing staff checked in on me and the groom, seeing if we wanted a drink refill or a cup of water. The food-- Hands down the best menu we sampled while choosing a reception venue. We wanted a place that would have a spread guests would talk about long after the event, and for months afterward our friends and family were still bringing up the tri-tip and how good everything tasted. Not only was the main food insanely delicious, the welcome charcuterie table was put together beautifully with so many options. The drinks -- The open bar was fantastic! Brass Bear offered a great variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks as part of their open bar, the flow of guests being served at multiple bar stations stayed steady all evening with no bottlenecks, and they even helped me create a custom cocktail to match my purple hair. I also probably emailed (literally) a thousand questions throughout the planning process, and every single one was met with a kind, thoroughly explained answer, or a "let's see if we can make that work!" response, which made the planning feel like a breeze and really fun. If you're considering Brass Bear Brewery for a wedding, celebration, or any special event, do not hesitate. They helped create memories we'll treasure forever, and we are SO grateful we chose them. Highly, highly, highly recommend.

The atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming, and full of good energy from the moment we walked in. One of the coolest parts of the visit was meeting Chris, a local who told us this is one of his favorite hangout spots and where he brings his dog Harlo. He gave us some awesome local recommendations and really added to the laid back community vibe that makes this place special. The bartenders and hosts were all attentive, friendly, and professional. You could genuinely tell the staff enjoys what they do, and that energy carries throughout the entire place. It's refreshing to see hospitality thriving like this in Santa Barbara. Captain Fatty's is a microbrewery from Goleta that I had never heard of before, and anybody who's read my Yelps knows I'm a Craft Beer nut. The Beer Garden is located in the open space near the elevators, just down from Eureka (who also has a couple of their beers on tap) and near a store called "Smoky Pink". To be honest, this space has served many purposes in the past; including hosting the Folklorico presentations during Santa Barbara's Fiesta event. The Beer Garden consists of a small Airstream that serves as a mini-taproom, and about 6-8 tables set up with the rest of the area roped off to designate the allowed drinking area. The family and I were in Santa Barbara this past weekend (10/28) when we came across this spot, and we were pleasantly surprised since we found ourselves a bit parched. They offer about 6 or so beers on tap. My brother and I had their "Blue" a west-coast IPA that was delicious and refreshing. The bartender at the time, Yvonne, was a wealth of information about Captain Fatty's and their offerings. Apparently, the brewery is well-known in the area and is celebrating its 10th year! Who knew?!?! Well I guess I would if I was a local... hahaha.. I can only wish! Our experience there was very pleasant. The beers were delicious, the employee was friendly and the location was perfect. Yvonne said they had just signed a lease to be there for another year; so we hope to see them again on our travels to the American Riviera!
