Cubano and bbq Korean pork sandwich
Whitney W.

This place is amazing! Hands down the best sandwich I have ever consumed! I got the Cubans my husband got the Korean pork. Our order took less than 12 minutes to prepare. Get the pickles, seriously don't skimp, and the Mac salad, wowza! Love the food truck experience, I'm a local so I'll be back!

This was a cool stop while we were on a road trip up the coast. The location is convenient, with plenty of parking, and right next to a brewery - exactly what I was looking for while on the road. There were other food trucks around, but this was by far the best. We had a couple of sandwiches, but the vegetarian Reuben is the one I recommend.

This place absolutely hit the spot. I was craving a vegetarian Ruben and this was the best I have had. It had a tangy crunch from the fresh sour crout and a hearty earthy flavor from the portobellos. Absolutely get this if you are in the area and grab a beer at the brewery while your at it. While you have a few other options with the many food trucks that are at the brewery this is the one to go to.

Great food, nice location and friendly staff. My wife and I have tried most of Chef Jason's menu and have yet to be disappointed. The sandwiches are the stars, but the mac salad make for a great supporting act. I recommend getting there early, you don't want to get shut out in case they run out of your favorite.

I love this place. Excellent sandwiches and really nice customer service. I usually get the veggie Reuben but I've also tried the one with pastrami. Yum to both!

Really good sandwich truck in the middle of town. Not too many choices but it was so yummy it didn't matter.

Very popular since most of the onsite seating were occupied (6/20/25). No surprise after glancing at their menu, easily I could gravitate towards several of their sandwiches. Lots of merch and deli items are also available to select from. I ended up ordering a half pound of proscuitto (0.52 lb for $17.67). This was carefully sliced thin, packaged, and wrapped carefully, which was duly noted and greatly appreciated. We paused at window counter seats and had to sample the purchase before departing. Absolutely delicious! Helped elevate a meal the next day too. I may have to return to indulge in one of their Italian sandwiches. Update: we did return to dine onsite at the same window counter seats (6/22/25). The Homie had the Hot Meatball ($14). Meaty with zesty sauce. I had the Salami Panini ($12), which reminded me of a fave Italian panini at Irwin's Bakery & Cafe in Seattle. Both were fantastic, hit the spot, clean plate club worthy, and definitely no takeout boxes needed! Gaetano's Market & Deli, a terrific find in Astoria!

Because we were driving through on our road trip, we decided to make a stop here for a late lunch this last Tuesday afternoon, around 2:15 pm. After we parked, we walked inside and headed towards the salad bar/ hot bar food area. After looking around (there is also a counter that you can order made to order sandwiches and burritos), I ended up deciding to purchase the following: Peanut Chicken Sesame Noodle Salad, $8.99- This was quite a massive portion so I only ended up eating about 1/3 of it and then had the rest over the next few days (I ended up mixing it with some chopped cucumbers and tomatoes that I had to make a large salad). I loved the peanut sesame dressing and noodles in this salad but wished there was more chicken. Mayak Egg Noodle Bowl, $8.99- My husband picked this salad for himself but I didn't have any. He thought it was good and appreciated something fresh, as his bowl had shredded cabbage, like my salad, and cucumbers and shredded carrots. Pumpkin Pie, $6.99- My husband saw this small pumpkin pie and decided to get it because he is such a big fan of it. I actually don't like pumpkin as much as when I was much younger. But I did like this pie and thought the flavors were well balanced, not too overly sweet. ---------------------------------------- (Total= $24.97) I really appreciated that the little dining area (there is also an outdoor dining area as well but because it had rained previously, we opted to sit inside) had plastic bowls and plates available for you to put your food in. This was helpful for me to be able to thoroughly mix my noodle salad since the dressing was mostly on the bottom. Then after I mixed it, I just put it back in the plastic container and only left about 1/3 of the salad in my bowl to eat. If I lived in this area, I would definitely be a regularly of this market (specifically for the prepared food area).
