not good food honestly i regret coming here i rather have panda express the chicken not tender

My son and I wanted some sushi, and we were in the area so decided to come here. I ordered the Green dragon rolls, they were good and got the job done lol. My son ordered the shrimp teriyaki bento box with the steam rice with an extra order of California rolls. He said his food was good. The restaurant is clean and spacious with ample amount seating if you want to dine in. The reason for the negative star, after fixing and packing up my food it was placed under the door dash/pick up orders and was just sitting there for a good ten minutes until the person who took my order realized it and called my order number. If I'm out and about near this area again and want a quick sushi fixed, I'll come back.

Had a taste for noodles tonight, so I decided I would get some as I rode near by. Went inside and they weren't as crowded as expected. Service was fast & efficient until I got home and realized one of my meals didn't have any shrimp. Portion size is ok but it lacked what should've been included. I ordered one beef & shrimp with extra shrimp and one with chicken & shrimp w/ extra shrimp. The chicken & shrimp meal had NO SHRIMP at all included. I paid extra for that and can't stand when I don't get what I paid for ‍. Ambiance: ok

Went there for lunch. Used a 5 dollar reward any food purchase. Their food is good. They also sell sushi. It's located in Laurel, MD. It's not a big restaurant. This is a place where you can go for a quick lunch or dinner. They also do mobile ordering and deliveries.

If you want some quick Asian food, this is the place. I've always driven by this location but never had a desire to try it out. One day, I decided to give them a try. Luckily, the menu was posted on the outside of the door for me to look over before I stepped inside. The food is decent. I ordered shrimp teriyaki with fried rice. It comes with veggies. I added a salmon avocado roll onto my order. I'm not one of those people that absolutely love sushi, so I was a bit meh about it but what the heck. I have tasted some good California rolls and was looking to expand my palate. So, the shrimp and fried rice was good. It wasn't the best I've ever had but I can see myself getting this dish again. Now that sushi...let's just say it's still in my refrigerator and I visited a few days ago. The salmon was raw. I wasn't prepared to eat raw fish. *sigh* Overall, my food was good enough to visit this Sarku Japan again. Who doesn't love food quick when they're pressed for time...or not? I'll check out other locations as well.

Sarku is pretty good. The server who took our order seemed like she wasn't having the best day and wasn't the most pleasant person to talk with. Food wise, I was pleased. We ordered the chicken bento box and chicken rice bowl with a side of mixed vegetables. Both were in a nice container and presented well. The chicken was tender and each came with extra sauce to put on top. The bento box also had California rolls and fried dumplings. I got a cup of water and it was obvious no one had drank water in a while because of the scaling (minerals) that were in the bottom of my cup. Overall the restaurant was pretty clean.

All the wonders of a mall food court Sarku, now in a restaurant. Actually though, I think not being in a mall food court is an advantage. The restaurant is quieter and more relaxing. Plus you get free self-serve refills on beverages. As for the food, I didn't think it was any different from what one would get at a mall food court Sarku but that is fine. As for parking, I had an easier time parking in the large lot behind the restaurant and entering via the back door. This shopping center can be quite busy at times.

My fiancé found this spot while he was out buying car tools. The funny the story was that I had mention that a way to a girls heart is to surprise her with sushi! Little did I know in this pandemic, we been holding back on saving $ on dining out...this man brought me affordable sushi (all of the sushi on menu) and it was good and enough to satisfy my cravings!

This has to be the worst "Japanese" food I've ever had. I'd rather eat gas station rolls. Yuck. $40 not well spent.

We made the drive from DC to check out this sushi gem in Laurel, and it was absolutely worth it. Happy Hour runs from 4 PM to 7 PM, and the deals are the kind that make you want to come back again next week. Sushi is half-priced (yes, half!), sake is just $4, and shooters are $6. In this economy? That's a win. Do yourself a favor and grab a seat at the bar. Deidra was our bartender, and she was top-tier--attentive, friendly, and on point the entire time. You can tell when someone takes pride in their work, and she definitely does. Great service makes good food even better. Plenty of parking, strong drinks, fresh and flavorful sushi--no fluff, just facts. If you're willing to take a short drive for a solid Happy Hour that delivers on value and quality, this Laurel sushi spot deserves a visit. Sometimes the old-fashioned way is still the best way: good food, good prices, and great service.

My cousin had a shooter (I don't remember the name). I treated my cousin for his birthday- two drinks, 6 different cooked sushi dishes and the fried chicken, with included 18% added, plus an added tip was exactly $73.00. For sure, I'd return. I'd even go by myself and have dinner at the bar. Very very Casual dress is appropriate. The only qualm is the reservation process. I emailed 4 days ago. I received an immediate response indicating that someone would call me back. When I didn't hear from anyone, I called last night. I was told that 2 people walking in at 5:30 on a Tuesday would be fine- it was.

I could've ordered that alone and been fine, but I was also craving sushi. I'm saving most of the fried rice and vegetables for tomorrow. The bento box was pretty good. The vegetables tasted very fresh (I love my veggies). The rice was a little sticky for my liking, but the shrimp was good and plentiful. The California rolls were standard, and the dumplings & spring rolls were both good. The only negative I have for those is that they did not include a sauce for them. Luckily I keep sweet chilli sauce in my fridge. The shrimp tempura roll was okay. It had a slight bitterness to it that I think is because it was fried in old oil. The bento box arrived piping hot, which I liked. This was after being the second stop on the delivery. Overall, I think Quickway Japanese is solid and I would order from them again if I want a quick sushi/bento meal.

Perfect crunch the sauces were yummy and the fried rice was good too! Sushi was good. Good prices too. So good I was saying i was definitely coming back for more and was abt to order the Jessup roll...and then THE BAD AND UGLY happened:I arrived around 9:06 PM. For context, the restaurant closes at 10 P. My original server was a very kind young lady Who served with a smile. Around 930 My original server was busy, so I called to the next one that I saw. She acknowledged me with an annoyed look then started mumbling something under her breath that I could not understand. I chose to ignore it. I asked for one more sushi roll and a cup of water. (After that i was going to leave) With an attitude and very aggressively she says "OK ok Jessup roll and a cup of water. What else?" Girly pop was VERY obviously annoyed and taking it out of me...a customer. I wasn't rude nor did i have an attitude until then. Had she said that "Unfortunately the sushi bar is closed and we're not taking any more Orders." I would've understood. However, she turned around and walked to the register, still talking angrily under her breath. So I told her to cancel my order and have someone else bring the check. I do not want her to come back to my table. She STILL came back over trying to offer some stale ass store bought cheesecake. I told her I don't want it to get out of my face. I don't like rudeness. Especially if it's unwarranted. I am a very kind person. I'm usually not rude to people, especially service staff because I know what they go through. But this girl and her nasty attitude pulled me out of my character this evening. I ALWAYS leave a tip for my server, but i was too focused on the rude girl and forgot to leave one for my original server. She was very very sweet and tried to check on me and i appreciate it. I'm sorry your coworker messed up your tip. Maybe rude girl needs to learn from her. Be kind. Being rude gets you nowhere. I doubt I'll ever go back.

My friend made reservations for 6:30. Upon arrival, we were informed there was a mistake with our reservations. We needed two tables so the girl's table was seated after approximately an hour wait. The boy's table took about 1.5 hours. The guys sat at the bar and ordered drinks while they waited. I ordered the Hibachi Sirloin Steak and Scallops with fried rice and Garlic Shrimp for my appetizer. Everything was flavorful. My favorites were the garlic shrimp which I've never had before and the steak as it was tender and not chewy. Service seemed a bit slow, but our server was attentive. Because of the mishap with our reservations, they comped the boys for a round of sake. Definitely enjoyed the yummy food and highly recommend it! You will find Japanese options like sushi, American-Chinese dishes like orange chicken, similar dishes, and Cantonese food like roast duck, Hong Kong-style noodle soups, and whole fish. They are family-owned and operated. Every time we come, the elder father is always gracious and provides excellent service. The restaurant is always quiet; you can hear conversations in the back, and as customers arrive to pick up their orders, we haven't witnessed any negative interactions. Customers are always happy with their food, and the staff say thank you. The only negative is the space. The building itself is older and outdated.
