We asked them if we could get an inspection and quote of wet spots. The owner, Cristian got his ladder out and checked out the roof. Within a day or two, we got back a quote and the price was very fair and reasonable, especially for the amount of tiles that needed to be lifted and reinstalled. The work consisted of replacing the worn out underpayment at two areas on the roof. We signed the agreement and his crew came out the following day to do the work. Although it was over 100 degrees in blistering heat, the work was done quickly and professionally. They did a great job cleaning up the property after the work was completed. They even had replacement roof tiles ready, in case they broke any originals! I like working with A-Pro roofing because the price was great and the owner was extremely friendly and prompt to address our concerns. His crew was also respectful of the property and keeping things clean and orderly. I would recommend and use A-pro roofing again for my future roofing needs.. They are based in Palmdale, so I'm not sure what their normal work range is. They also brought their own Port-a Potty station and didn't need to access the inside of our house for their bathroom breaks or lunch period. They also had the best warranty of 30 years labor and 30 years material which can be transferred once. Anyone looking for a new roof should definitely consider them. Be advised though that if your roof is 20+ years old you will most likely have an additional charge to replace the old plywood underneath the tiles. It is impossible to estimate without taking off the tiles because you won't know the condition of the old plywood until the tiles are removed. Although another charge, new plywood increases the longevity of the roof and the value of the home. Foreman John came out on a Sunday to look at my roof and explain its issues. He was definitely knowledgeable in my roof and what it needed for it to be fixed. The true test will be how it stands up in a big storm but I am relieved that I have 30 years warranty for any issues that may arise.

1 STAR -- SCAM. Do not call SolarShoppers for solar service, and warn your parents about them…read more My elderly mother in Lancaster has an SMA inverter that stopped working. Their tech, Shawn, came out on October 8, 2026 and charged us $375, saying he had submitted our information to SMA and that SMA would ship a replacement inverter, and he would collect the rest after swapping it in. That was a lie, and I can prove it. I checked SMA's records directly: SMA had already CLOSED our case on October 7 -- the day BEFORE his visit -- with simple reset instructions for us to do ourselves. No replacement inverter was ever being shipped. There was never anything to wait for. For three weeks after taking the $375, we got one story after another about a special "key" he supposedly needed. First SMA was going to send it. Then he ordered it himself. Then "they keep cancelling the order." His proof was a screenshot of an Amazon shopping cart that was never even checked out. And the "key" itself is a $10 generic switch key that does not open this inverter at all -- SMA's own manual opens it with a Torx screwdriver. He took $375 from a senior citizen's family on a story he had to know was false, then strung us along for weeks hoping we'd give up. As of today, October 28, the work has never been done and not one dollar has been refunded. Shawn, SolarShoppers -- if you make this right and refund the $375, I will take this review down. If you are reading this review still posted, it is because he has done nothing to correct it.
