I live in Calabasas and was in search of a cleaning service and remembered that some cleaning…read moreservices had left their business card in my door. I decided to contact them for an appointment. Eliza House Cleaning had the earliest appointment available for Friday at 3:00pm so I decided to go with their company. Well no one showed up at 3:00pm and I didn't receive a call so I thought maybe they were running late. Around 3:15pm still no one had come or called so I reached out asking if she was still coming. She said she was trying to find the location. I asked her if she put in the right address because people come to my house all the time. I gave her the address again and she said she was on the way she would be to my house shortly. Twenty minutes went by and still no one showed or called so I reached out again to see where she was at. She said she was in a parking lot. I asked her to describe what she was near. Then I asked her if she had passed the McDonald's and she said she was in the parking lot of the McDonald's. I told here that the next light was my housing development and gave her specific directions for getting there. I asked if she wanted me to stay on the phone with her while she drove down because I was waiting outside on the porch looking out for her. She said okay, well after a couple of minutes she still had not shown up and if she was where she said she was it was literally 1-2 minutes from my house. I kept asking her where she located because it didn't sound like she was heading in my direction. She said sorry ma'am I'm at my house, I'm not coming. This was a very unprofessional and very inconsiderate experience with this cleaning service. She never showed up or called, I had to keep calling her. Then told me at the last minute, an hour later, that she wasn't coming. I could have hired another company to come out. I had neighbors who was considering using their service if all went well but I would not recommend this cleaning service to anyone. I recently had the pleasure of working with Pedro S. from New Pasadena Pool Service on the remodel…read moreof my 30+ year pool, and I am very happy with the results. From start to finish, the entire experience was smooth and exceeded my expectations. Pedro demonstrated a high level of professionalism, expertise and honesty throughout the entire process. We decided to remodel our pool because our old copper plumbing had a leak, the plaster had multiple chips and the paint on the plaster recently dissolved into the water. We interviewed a total of 4 contractors for the remodel project and selected Pedro based on his years of experience, previous projects, pricing and honesty. Pedro took the time to understand what we needed and to answer my many questions regarding the construction and permit process. He offered suggestions that would work best for our pool and would be most cost effective. He was onsite to ensure city permit approval and answer the inspector's questions. Pedro always communicated the next steps and I always felt well-informed about the progress of the project. The quality of work is truly exceptional. Pedro's team was efficient, skilled, and paid attention to every detail. I appreciate the dedication and hard work Pedro, Aloha, Daniel and the rest of the team put in for our pool, they were a pleasure to have in our home and we never felt inconvenienced by the work. The project was completed within the agreed-upon timeframe and Pedro accommodated a few changes along the way without any problem. Pedro went above and beyond our agreed contract by proving the start up service for our pool which was not part of the original scope/budget. I was having a hard time finding a pool service company in my area to take on the startup process and weekly service and Pedro offered to help me even though I was outside his service area. He made special trips to my home after the remodel was completed to ensure my plaster cured successfully. I would highly recommend New Pasadena Pool Service to anyone in need of a professional and reliable pool contractor. Their commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and outstanding customer service make them an excellent choice. I am beyond satisfied with my new pool and grateful for the positive experience I had with Pedro and his team.
