I believe Nicky was the woman who helped us (it's been a few months and seems like a lifetime ago lol), she was so nice and helpful! My husband ended up getting a Navy Tux, and the boys did a Gunmetal Gray. The blue ties were perfect with our color theme and we loved the brown shoes. A few of the suits still needed altered when the suits first came in, and after the first round of alterations they looked great! I can't say enough good things - the only thing is it can get busy so always make an appointment and give yourself plenty of time. And save yourself a lot of time and stress - let the professionals put on the cufflinks ahead of time, adjust the vests, do the fancy buttons on the shirt, and adjust and fold the pocket square! As a wedding photographer I can't tell you how many times I've watched the guys stress over this and if you ask Men's Wearhouse will do this for you!! He got me a variety of bean boot styles, heights, and sizes to try on to truly see which I liked best. After my research was complete, he found us back in the store to have me try one more boot that had my preferred size, width, height, and was on major sale! He never applied pressure for me to buy and actually recommended I put it on a hold if I wanted to think about it. He made sure I was well informed of my options and went above and beyond for me. I ended up coming back Sunday and bought the boots! Discrimination - This is a very important issue! Last Tuesday, November 7th- I had a "Pretty Woman"…read moremoment. Remember in the movie when Julia Roberts went to Rodeo Drive and they refused to sell her clothes? That just happened to me at this store. An intern who was working there refused to sell me a jacket and told me this was "out of your price range", and that "a girl can dream". She just would NOT stop insulting me about this jacket by @parka_ny that I can actually afford it! I texted the owner to complain and she said she will talk to me the next day to find out what happened. Didn't hear from her and on Thursday I texted to ask if she's still wanting to talk about the incident. I went to the showroom that Friday (already 3 days after this happened) and I was hoping they would at least apologize to me or discuss what happened, but instead they tried selling the jacket. I am sad, because they focused more on making money as opposed to doing the right thing. It is now Sunday - about 5 days from the incident and it gets worse! Clearly this company does NOT know how to apologize and handle this situation. Instead of apologizing so we could move on with the situation, the store owner has not only started patronizing me and harrassing me through text messages AND my work phone. And has also now resorted to trolling my Instagram friends. This has been going on ALL weekend. Let this be a lesson to business owners. We, your potential customers, are more than just your source of income. We are your biggest fans - when treated right, we advertise you for free and become your best ambassadors. And if not satisfied, can be your hardest critique. But as life goes, you need to learn in order to grow. If you're not willing to learn from your mistakes and swallow your pride, then you miss out on the opportunity to make your company bigger than it should be. And as always, treat EVERYONE with respect. In my life, I have been in both sides - rich and dirt poor. And I'm grateful to be in both sides because this has humbled me. No one should be judged for their apperance alone! If Zero stars existed, I would vote that for this store! FINAL EDIT: I am fully aware that this place is a showroom and fully aware that not all items are for sale. I went during a sample sale day. Why not just say, "I'm sorry, but this item is not for sale."? Could have left it at that, but to be subjected to insults for a couple of minutes and going on and on and the exact words being, "I'm sorry, but you can't afford that jacket! It is out of your price range. But you know, I can't afford it too. A girl could dream, right?!". Learn to approach someone and it's plain etiquette and good manners and don't treat people and be presumptuous about what they can and cannot afford. I walked into another store after that, and the sale person just said, "Sorry, ma'am - That's not for sale or part of the sample sale.". That. my dear, was the proper way to approach this situation.
