I rarely need to use a dry cleaner but I recently had a in-person job interview (I got the job!) and used one of my dress pants which needed dry cleaning. I dropped it off on a Saturday. It seems the place is small & family run by one woman. She said she could get it done in a couple of days. I got busy with my new job and picked it up a couple of weeks later. Somehow the woman remembered my name and asked how my new job was going after all that time and found my pants immediately. The cost of the one pant was only $5 which seemed very reasonable for me and the pants were looking good again. i stopped by in to get a quick fix on my prom dress the day before, and the two lovely ladies were kind enough to help me! I immediately felt welcomed when i walked in. When I tried the dress on, I talked about where I would like the altering. I felt immediate weight taken off my shoulders knowing that my dress could be fixed on time! :) I picked up my dress the next day, even an hour earlier than the time we both agreed on, and her work was so clean and perfect that I couldn't even tell! Being petite I have always had issues with finding a good seamstress. In the past I have always been disappointed as majority of tailors tend to do mediocre jobs or charge 100's for a stitch. I brought two pairs of jeans, leather pants, a pair of bell bottoms, and a top here and I couldn't believe the quality in which my clothes were returned to me. I can't say enough good about Anet Cleaners and their alteration work. We have taken 6 items there in the past 5 months to be altered. From jeans to a evening glow needing extensive alterations and everything has come out great. Even my new Patagonia jacket that got snagged came out looking brand new. I only write reviews when thing are really bad or really good and Anet is one of really good ones. Anet Cleaners has only been there a little over a year and the immediate previous owner gave the place a really bad rap, but Anet has really turned it around. So disappointed! had used this service a couple of times before with acceptable results. Last visit- totally disappointed. Vendor does not have a set price list- pricing is at a whim.Tailoring expected in a week's time. Ended up waiting for alterations for three weeks then to find out that it was not done as expected! I've never sent my laundry to a service and based in my experience and quality of my laundry, I will be returning,,, they are helpful beyond they needed , as the virus prevented my care person to come to My home Julie and her father came in fully masked and gloved gathered and bagged all my laundry quickly and noticed I had garbage bag at my door and took my garbage on their way out,, when my laundry came back it was perfect, cleaner then my care person had got them , everything was perfectly folded organized in bags with same items ,stains were gone ,, thank you for your quality of work and BIG Thank for your kindness!! I had a thick jean jacket that I wanted to have a patch sewn onto. I went into there late afternoon and the next morning she had it done! The job was done really well and the price was good as well! Last week as I was parking in that little strip mall by Grand and Cumberland a "new ownership" sign above the window pulled my attention. I looked through it and a seamstress seemed very concentrated over a shimmering fabric! Being on my daily driving route I took my laundry bag, and a new pair of pants that needed alterations and stopped by them the next day. A young lady welcomed me with a smile and asked for my info. Her family just took over this business and her mother was the one who was going to do the alterations. The seamstress took her measurements on my pants and asked for few days to get it ready. I thought they were nice and caring. I went there today to pick up my dry cleaning clothes and the pants, and everything was what they promised. They even added some small repair in one of my shirts. Everything done at a very reasonable pricing. I will definitely be back! read more
