I showed the scanned photos to my parents, which led to my aunts and uncles digging through attics, closets, and mystery boxes that probably hadn't been opened since the 1980s. Suddenly everyone wanted their photos, VHS tapes, and family memories digitized. The reason I trusted Jorge with all of it is simple: he actually cares. When I first handed over my old photo albums, I was nervous. Some of these photos are literally one-of-a-kind family memories. I had visions of someone ripping apart albums, feeding everything into a giant industrial scanner, hitting "Start," and hoping for the best. That is NOT Jorge. He carefully disassembled the albums, handled each photo with incredible care, and made sure everything was scanned properly. You can tell he understands that these aren't just pieces of paper--they're irreplaceable family memories. The attention to detail was obvious from the beginning. One of the coolest surprises was when he digitized my wife's old VHS tapes and handheld camcorder videos from the late 1980s. We were able to watch footage of her as a little kid playing the violin at around 5 years old--something I had never seen before, and something the family had completely forgotten even existed. Watching those videos decades later was equal parts heartwarming, hilarious, and priceless. The timing ended up being incredibly fortunate. I completed this project before the Eaton Fire. When the fires happened, I realized I wasn't worried about losing decades of family photos and videos because everything had already been digitized and safely backed up. That peace of mind alone was worth every penny. Jorge is trustworthy, meticulous, and genuinely passionate about preserving memories. What I thought would be a simple photo-scanning project ended up reconnecting my family with moments we didn't even remember we had. If you have old albums, VHS tapes, camcorder recordings, slides, or boxes of family photos sitting around, call Jorge. Midway through the service, I was contacted and informed that an additional $90 would be required for another hour because the allotted 2.5 hours was insufficient to complete the job. Upon arrival, multiple agreed-upon areas were not completed, including the inside of the oven, microwave, refrigerator, living room, and patio. At no point prior to booking was I informed that the entire service--including add-on services--was capped at a total of 2.5 hours. Had this limitation been disclosed, I would not have proceeded with the booking. Expecting two cleaners to complete a deep clean plus add-on services within this timeframe is unreasonable. The mid-service request for additional payment, combined with incomplete services, resulted in a failure to provide the services as represented at the time of booking. The cleaning staff were professional and courteous, and this review is directed solely at the company's policies and practices.
